Called Purcor Pest Solutions about a carpenter ant issue on my patio and was given a 10 AM service appointment for 6/2. Instead, I got a knock on my door the day before from a sales rep I wasn't expecting. What should have been a simple conversation about a one time treatment turned into a sales pitch for pest control, lawn care, and shrub services. The pricing was $310 up front, then $95 per month even though they only come out once every three months. When I asked if I could just pay quarterly since the service is quarterly, I was told they don't do that. The contract was never mentioned until I brought it up myself. That's when things got awkward. I was told they only offer 1 year contracts and that "every company does it," which simply isn't true. The rep even compared it to signing up for a cell phone plan. Do the math. Between the initial service and monthly charges, you're looking at roughly $1,450 over the first year for a basic pest control issue. The whole interaction felt more like sitting in a car dealership than dealing with a pest control company. The rep kept asking what was stopping me from signing on the spot. I explained that I had no interest in being locked into a contract for a bug problem. At that point he seemed to lose interest, wrapped up the conversation, and left. Ironically, he still sent me the invoice afterward as requested. The surprise visit, high pressure sales tactics, contract requirement, and lack of transparency left a bad impression. I called because I needed help with a carpenter ant issue, not because I was looking to sign a long term service agreement. Also worth noting, a lot of the reviews mention specific sales reps. After my experience, it seems like sales is a major focus of the business. If you're looking for a straightforward one time treatment, I would ask a lot of questions up front before scheduling.

Jason, my technician did a thorough, professional job. He went above and beyond. So many people rush through a job like this on such a hot day working outside, but he took the time to do it right. I appreciate his work and people with his work ethic make me feel that Purcor is a good company to deal with.

Excellent company! Their employees are obviously well taken care of! They all treat their customers with respect, and are hard working. I’ve lived in West Palm Beach for 14 years. This is the very best Pest Control Company in South Florida! I highly recommend PURCOR PEST CONTROL. Felix and Jason are the best of the best!

Kyle is knowledgeable, thorough and very helpful. We have noticed a huge difference in our yard and inside our home. If we ever have an issue, they’re out the very next day to solve it. I would highly recommend!!
