We started our service with Romney Pest Control over a year ago. They’ve been great! Our house backs up to an unincorporated field so you could imagine how many bugs were trying to move in 😂It was a never ending battle. Romney to the rescue! The one or two that make it through the outer barrier, die very quickly. Thank you 😊

This was our first time using Romney Pest Control (formerly known as Southwest Exterminating, I believe). First, the appointment window was between 8-10am. Most businesses give you a call or text when they’re on the way, usually to give you a 25-30 minute ETA. Not this company. I waited around from 9am to 10:15am. Yep, the tech showed up late. Did he apologize for being late? Nope. He also wasn’t in a marked company vehicle. Regardless, the tech was slow, hobbled around and inspected the areas of concern. He said we had termites in the master bath and carpenter ants in the garage. He gave me an estimated quote (around $3,000!) treat a two story house when we only have one story. After I corrected him, he proceeded to tell me the price is the same even if it’s one story?? Then he tried to schedule me for the pest treatment he recommended and when I told him I was going to get another quote to compare he got miffed and said oh well we can’t schedule you until you decide—that’s understandable. However, don’t let your irritation show so glaringly. Then he said he would email me the official quote same day (Friday 5-1-26). As of today 5/7/26, I still haven’t received his quote. And thank God I did get another opinion because the 2nd peat control company took a look and said I did NOT have termites in the master bath area AND there were no carpenter ants in the garage! From start to finish, this appointment with Romney was a very underwhelming experience. Im glad I listened to my gut and didn’t schedule the service. Phew!

Service was thorough and good. I was notified on Sun that qtrly service would occur Technician was nice, greeted me, asked if there were any specific issues I was concerned about and took care of business. My only concern or issue was that I was given a “window” was from 8am to 8pm! Sorta wipes out whole day. Wish the “window “ was smaller or I was offered a time option to be able to work with

I’ve been using Romney’s quarterly pest control service for over 10 years. They have kept my home pest free. They’re always very responsive to any issues that arise, but for the most part, the quarterly treatments take care of everything. Thanks guys.

Office staff that answer the phone are always great and i have used them for years however after missing half a day of work for an appointment from 1pm-8pm which is a big window only to have the technician "Bailey" not call or text upon arrival for us to open the gate at 5pm, "mind you ive been home since 12pm" and then drive off and not answer the office when they tried to get ahold of them at 5:10pm. Im not sure when or if i will call back to reschedule cause honestly im really irritated but i will definitely ask for a better technician. Will update my review if i continue service
