I started using Real Green back in February/March because my house backs up to a greenbelt, and I was hoping their services would help control the weeds growing in my backyard. This was my first time hiring a company to treat my lawn, so I trusted their expertise. Within the first month, all the weeds had died, which initially felt like a good sign. However, about 8 weeks later, I noticed my grass was dying, and much of my yard was left as bare dirt. I figured this might be part of the treatment process and gave it more time, but another 8 weeks passed, and my lawn only continued to get worse. Especially considering how much rain Austin received this year and the fact that I was still watering my yard 1–2 times a week, I was confused as to why my entire lawn was dying. Throughout this time, no one from Real Green reached out to check on the condition of my yard or address the issue. Eventually, I called and requested that someone come out to assess the damage. One of the managers who visited was genuinely shocked by the condition of my lawn and even commented, "I've never seen grass this bad." He then arranged for the Director of Services to come out and take a look. After inspecting the yard, the director identified an issue with one of my sprinkler bubblers that wasn't functioning properly. While I understand that this could have contributed to the problem, I find it hard to believe that one faulty bubbler alone explains why my entire lawn was essentially fried. What bothered me most throughout this experience was the lack of accountability and customer service. There was no genuine apology, no acknowledgment of the damage, and no proposed solution to help restore my lawn. The response essentially came down to the sprinkler being faulty, and that was that. I put my trust in this company to care for my yard, and now I'm left with over $1,200 in repairs to get my lawn back to where it was before. My grass was green and healthy before I started using Real Green, and even with a partially faulty sprinkler, I can't help but feel that my lawn would have been in much better condition had I not used their services. I wish I had done more research and found a company I felt I could genuinely trust. My advice to anyone considering Real Green is to do your research, closely monitor the condition of your lawn, and stay on top of the company throughout the process. Unfortunately, based on my experience, they won't necessarily do that for you.

I wish I had put the money I spent with Real Green Pest Control & Lawn Care toward replacing my grass instead. I used this company for over a year because I trusted that their treatments and recommendations would actually improve my lawn. The first photo shows where my yard was when I started service. The second photo shows what it looks like today, after more than a year of paying for their lawn care. At one point, I was told I had chinch bugs, which they apparently treated for. Despite that, my lawn continued to decline, and I now have significantly less healthy grass than I did when I started. What is most frustrating is the amount of time and money I spent waiting for their services to produce results. Had I known this would be the outcome, I would have canceled much sooner and put that money toward new sod instead. The photos speak for themselves. I’m sharing them because I genuinely wish I had seen a review like this before spending more than a year paying for a lawn-care service that, in my experience, did nothing to improve my yard. I cannot recommend Real Green Pest Control & Lawn Care based on my experience.

I have used Real Green as lawn care provider for over a decade. I would have continued to use their service if were not the two disasters they caused. I put new sod (Bermuda grass) for half of my yard in March. I notified Real Green before and after the new rod installation. In May, Real Green came in spray chemical after assuring me that it is OK. But it caused major damage to the new grass (the other half yard with established grass is OK). After watering a lot, the new grass slowly recovered. Then in the end of June, they came to spray again while I was out of town on vacation. This time, it caused more damages to the new grass. They sent a manager to inspect and told us that it is "recoverable". Are you kidding me? Real Green is supposed to be the expert in lawn care. But they caused major damages to my new grass twice in a row. I would give them a negative rating if it were allowed. Stay away from this company if you installed any new sod in your yard.

originally left a great review after having top dressing and core aeration done on my yard. At first, I was hopeful, but after a few months the yard actually became worse than before The soil is now extremely dry and cracking badly also they put some other treatment three times I contacted the company and to their credit they sent out a manager who was very kind and professional. However, I was told that they already did what they needed to do. Unfortunately, the results speak for themselves, and I’m disappointed because I expected the treatment to improve my lawn, not make the condition worse

Real Green has been providing both lawn treatment and pest control services for over 3 years. They are a very professional company that does a great job. My yard looks better than ever and we seldom have any issues with bugs. I highly recommend their services.
