“The project manager was attentive to my concerns and the team worked to correct issues. Attention to detail was lacking in many areas including clean lines/edges and coverage to cabinetry. The cabinet faces are smooth and have good coverage. The sides of the cabinet doors and drawer fronts are rough to the touch and do not appear to have been sanded properly. I have found some spots where the old cabinet color is showing through. There are areas of coverage on walls that do not appear as though they had 2 coats of paint as was initially promised, such as on small bathroom walls. Clean lines are not consistently present where the cabinetry meets the tile flooring in the kitchen and bathroom. The crew covered areas appropriately with taping and plastic; however, the tape that was used peeled off many areas of the interior cabinet surfaces which were in good condition previously.”

“A little concernd about our crew this time. Excellent painters, great personalities, taught me some "tricks of the trade." But, there must have been a disconnect between the work order saying "drywall repair" and what was to be done, installing two 8X10 drywall patches from 1990's vintage intercom speakers removed. This required an air compressor, and texture spraying but painter had to drive to Carrolton to get what he neeed, which was a couple hours. He was under impression it was just a small drywall repair he could handle. On the final day, was told they are taking an early lunch 11:30, to return earlier and finish earlier. However, lunch out and sitting in pickup took close to two hours, and work did not get started back until around 1:30 and it was around 4: 45 pm before finishing. So ... in my opinion, improved communication of work to be done, and a more strick hours of operation, could have concluded the project in 1.5 days, not 2 full days. And, he had to bring a 3rd person on the second day in order to finish. I have used a remodler three times this year, bathrooms. He arrives at 8:30. Takes lunch at 12:30 - 1:30 and leaves promptly at 5:30. Every single day. No standing around or us guessing. The last Alliance project had a husband and wife team paint our great room, kitchen, some cabinets and a hallway and they were fantastic. We will request them again, if we need Allicance. Finally, I would rather the painter did not know about this review, for security reasons. But I would keep closer tabs on this crew.”

“There are a lot of things I'm having to call them back for. Each door in my home is not painted up on the top part of it. You can't see it just by standing there, but you can when you're standing over it, like if you're putting up a light bulb. Also, seven of my lights in my kitchen are all off centered, and I can't put a bulb in. I had electrical work done, and they painted in my outlet, so all of those have to be replaced. Not only that, but here are two rooms that need to be repainted because the top is not matching with the bottom half.”

“Working with Alliance has been a very negative experience. They rushed through the job, made multiple mistakes, did not fix the things I asked them to, and left my home in worse shape than before they came. I need to have all three of my exterior doors (the paint) fixed and have had to hire and pay a new paint company to come in, redo, Alliance is busy doing their new jobs.”

“The paint job was absolutely terrible. I have a list of items that were damaged during the job. Some include: our brand new stone patio, our back patio, clothing (my husband's suit, and my son's Jiu Jitsu Gi - both very expensive items), our new fan blades were scraped (4 of 5 of them) with a ladder, I assume, master bathroom toilet clogged, dent in our fridge, ripped toilet paper holder off wall and not repaired, damaged face plates for light switches, broken outlet in daughter's room. The drywall looks like it was done by someone who has never done that before. (bubbles and holes everywhere) I repaired myself. The "texture" added where there were holes (not big areas so not sure why it was done this way) looks like dripping blobs. There were TONS of paint drips everywhere. The lines were not clean. The house was filthy after the team left. We had someone come touch up and it took him over 3 hours and everything was still not fixed. The cabinets we paid extra for were barely painted and were not prepped. The hinges had paint all over them. Things I talked about with the program manager (like a piece of trim on the inside of the back door) not painted despite discussing it. It was later painted very slopply. They sealed our drawer closed with paint in the master then "fixed it" by ripping it off and you can still see where they did that. We found some random person's identification documentation (a temporary Driver's License) not belonging to anyone on the crew in our refrigerator. We stopped by one day and the team had left the 5 gallon bucket of paint with the lid off and it had already dried the top layer. I would absolutely not recommend this company to anyone. Collin and Gustavo are the only good things about this company.”

“Based on the bids I received from all contractors from whom I solicited proposals, while Alliance was not the lowest bid, their cost was reasonable compared to the others. Though not the lowest bid, the details of the proposal and the information I received about their prep and painting process convinced me to give them a try. On line recommendations of prior customers also helped. The job was started and completed as scheduled. The job site was cleaned up every day. When completed, the walkthrough resulted in few touch ups being required. I have done a lot of my own painting and work hard to get clean lines between colors and different surfaces. The paint edges are neat and clean and met or exceeded my personal standards. While I always suggest seeking multiple proposals in any job of this size, I would easily recommend Alloance Painting be a company that should be included in the mix.”
