Outstanding Full-Service Local Move: Alexandria to Capitol Hill I hired Randall Movers, a local family-owned moving company operating in Northern Virginia since 1979, for a full-pack local move on the last Friday of September (peak moving season). They transported a 1-bedroom plus office home (approx. 2,900 lbs) from a 3rd-floor apartment in Alexandria, VA to a 4th-floor unit on Capitol Hill, Washington, DC in under six hours. Key Highlights & Logistics Execution: Customer Service & Booking: Susan provided a fast, transparent estimate with no deposit required to lock in the date. Complex Logistics: Managed strict loading dock and freight elevator reservations at both end properties seamlessly without timing conflicts or delays. Crew & Professionalism: The 5-man crew (Clarence, Phil, Mo, Mike, and Nate) was exceptionally professional, well-trained, and careful. Long crew tenure was evident in how efficiently they packed, handled heavy furniture, and protected both buildings' common areas. Speed & Value: Same-day full pack, transit, and complete unload executed flawlessly in under 6 hours. I would highly recommend Randall Movers for anyone needing reliable, professional full-service local movers in Northern Virginia, Alexandria, or the Washington, DC metro area. 10/10—would hire again.

Randall Moving was awesome. The crew was outstanding, (Shout out to Benny, Mo, Nate and Mike!) they were considerate, polite and professional. The took extreme care with my belongings and were respectful of my property. They arrived on time and got to work immediately. I was moving from Northern Virginia to central North Carolina and they made the move worry free. They were competitively priced and offered services the other movers didn't. I would highly recommend Randall Movers to anyone needing moving services. Thank you to Susan and your team!

We had an absolutely outstanding experience with Randall Moving and Storage and highly recommend them. From start to finish, the entire process was seamless and stress-free. A huge thank you to Kelly and Susan in the office. They were both amazing and extremely helpful in planning and scheduling our move. On moving day, the team of Nate, Mo, and Clarence was phenomenal. The move involved packing up fragile valuables and furniture from an apartment, moving the bulk of the items to a personal storage facility, and then delivering a few specific pieces to our home. The team was warm, professional, and incredibly accommodating throughout the entire process. I would absolutely recommend Randall Moving and Storage to anyone and will definitely use them for any future needs.

I had an outstanding experience with Randall Moving. Despite my move being scheduled just a few days after a heavy snow and ice storm, their team maintained exceptional communication every step of the way. The movers arrived on time, worked efficiently, and went above and beyond to ensure all my belongings were handled with the utmost care. I truly appreciated their professionalism, positive attitude, and attention to detail. I highly recommend Randall Moving to anyone looking for a smooth and stress-free moving experience.
