Our experience with Valor Mold Removal couldn’t have been better. We were impressed with everyone’s professionalism and expertise. They know what they are doing. Everyone—from the original inspector to the second inspector to the remediation crew—showed up on time, finished when they said they would, and performed their responsibilities very well and with great courtesy. The members of the office staff were efficient and easy to talk to. Scheduling was a breeze. We were particularly impressed with the three-member remediation crew. It was obvious that they had worked together for a while. Each person knew his responsibilities, and they worked without a lot of chatter. The leader kept us fully informed on the findings and the progress. Hopefully, we will never have another mold problem but, if we do, we will call Valor with great confidence. We highly recommend them.

We’ve used Valor Mold twice for mold remediation, for a large project in 2019 (entire basement) and a smaller one in 2026 (a bathroom). For both projects, from start to finish, Valor Mold was great to work with. The proposal was detailed and transparent, the cleanup crew was respectful and clean, and post-remediation testing confirmed mold removal was extremely successful. Valor Mold prides itself on following the industry standard for mold remediation, including negative pressure air flow, using a decontaminant area, and even used sticky pads on the floor for the workers to walk on so as to not track spores and debris in and out of the contaminated area. The containment area was done so well with thick plastic and zippered doors, that we left it up for rebuilding the area to control dust dispersion related to installing new drywall and flooring. The owner David (a self-proclaimed “mold nerd”), and project manager Carlos, were both outstanding to work with. Thank you for making a tough situation tolerable and giving us the peace of mind that our mold remediation was done correctly (both times!). I’ve recommended Valor Mold to several others over the years and have only heard great feedback. Valor Mold will be a more expensive option than your everyday contractor, but you can rest assured that your home or property is remediated properly.

We noticed some mold in our coat closet by the front door and with my wife terrified of mold, we wanted to get this remediated right away. I called three contractors to get estimates and while Valor was not the lowest priced, they gave us the full confidence that they would handle it properly. With mold, the clean up has to be contained and the other two companies had no process to contain the area, they just wanted to rip the walls out and rub bleach on them - which in fact would not only spread the mold spores everywhere, they would not even clean all the mold that is deep within the wood. I was impressed with Valor from the initial appointment, their rep was incredibly knowledgeable and walked through their process with zero pressure to sign. In all honesty, he seemed more concerned with the mold and their being kids in the house than closing the service. When Valor showed up to do the removal, they put barriers up to close off the area, floor protection and ran a vent out the window to create a negative air space and expel the mold to ensure there was no cross contamination. It turned out the wood was still all wet from a roof leak we didn't know about, and the technicians left the barrier up and two massive air filters for a over a month while we had the leak repaired - that is service that you cannot put a price on. Throughout this process, the owner called and checked up on us multiple times which really showed how much they actually cared about their customers. Once we had the leak fixed and the wood dried, the team came back to do the remediation, they had previously removed all the effected wood/insulation and did a thorough cleaning and when they returned they proceeded to not only clean the exposed areas again, they sanded down the studs and rafters to the clean wood deeply - and even went one step further in applying a anti-mold paint to encapsulate the effected areas. When they were done, they cleaned up and removed the barriers and you wouldn't even know anything happened their. I would wholeheartedly recommend Valor because they will get the job done correctly and not put your family at any additional risk - they care about their customers and it really shows in their work!

Valor came out initially to conduct an air quality test to help us determine the next step for a smell in our basement. David and technician Charles were very professional and knowledgeable and advised us of our options. We decided to have a section of our basement wall around a window well removed where the smell was strongest, as well as the carpet - all under Valor's containment/remediation protocol. Technicians Charles, Ronnell, and Mikey were prompt, courteous, and diligent. They found an area around the window well that, while not apparently moldy, was stained from water trapped due to poor drainage. They thoroughly cleaned the foundation wall and left the basement ready for new flooring and drywall. They also conducted a post-remediation air quality test that came back clear! We appreciate how easy it was to schedule the work, how responsive everyone is, and how thorough the crew was in their work. We would definitely recommend Valor Mold to anyone.
