We had the best summer enjoying our new pool and outdoor living space. When we decided to downsize, we knew we wanted to create an outdoor environment that we would enjoy for years to come. Our vision included a pool, plenty of open space in the yard and opportunities to garden. Scapes is SO much more than a landscape company, they are outdoor dreamers and vision casters. Pete listened to how we wanted to use our space then he and his colleague Jeff walked along side us each step of the way making sure we felt listened to and ultimately delivered on the back yard of our dreams. Pete was our one point of contact for EVERYTHING. This was worth every penny to us not to manage all the moving parts. It’s a big investment and there is peace of mind knowing that Scapes does everything with excellence and stands behind their work. Each area feels special and intentional, which means our family is outside all the time. Scapes delivers on their promises and they do it right the first time.

We used this company 2 years ago for a huge landscape project. In total, we spent more than $60,000. The reason we chose them was because it seems they have had a good online review. However, we were pretty disappointed. 1. We paid them to draw a detailed project scope including what to plant. We emphasized several times that all the plants had to be deer resistant, and they promised all plants they suggested were. However, right after the project was completed, deer and rabbits started to eat the plants, and several months later, almost all the plants planted on our backyard were gone. 2. The project completed in March or April 2024. We paid them to plant three trees. Despite that we watered the trees frequently, one never showed any sign of survival. We asked them to replace it. They said we have no sprinkler so they wouldn't. The truth was we watered the trees almost every day. 3. A big contrast before and after the project. After the project completed and we paid in full, the issues we reported were ignored and our requests for them to come to discuss the issue were ignored. The reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because some of the work such as backyard stepped path met our anticipation. By the way, it's my wife signed the contract with Scapes, and her last name is Gu. So, I don't have the wrong company. We did hire you, Scapes.

Excellent experience working with Scapes to do a complete relandscaping of our yard. Our property had changed over the years to have a lot more shade, grass no longer grew well, there were some steep water run off areas and badly compacted soil. Scapes developed a creative design solution that addressed these needs including sidewalk replacement, driveway paver additions for repair and decoration, and a variety of plants and artificial turf to fill out our landscape. As this matures, we will have a carpet of green and a range of flowering plants as a backdrop. The team was clear about schedules and timing and showed up when they said they would. The installation crew was hard working, diligent in executing the plan, and respectful of our property while here. This was a very positive experience for us, and we are very pleased we engaged with Scapes.

Scapes has done several large landscape design and installation jobs for us over the past 11 years. The design process is very collaborative and detailed. Danny Holt does a great job communicating every aspect of the vision, pricing, plan for execution, project status, etc. Scapes' crews are always on time, kind, reliable, conscientious and do amazing work. Great attention is paid to the details throughout the project. The end results of all of our projects have been beautiful and I believe have added significant value to our property. Highly recommend Scapes if you want the job done right.
