Good experience with my attic insulation and basement air sealing project! Justin came out after my Mass Save call and replaced our old thermostats the same day, which was awesome. The crew was super friendly and worked incredibly hard through a pretty hot day. Huge shoutout to the crew lead, Malique, for proactively communicating and checking in with me before making the roof cuts for the bathroom vents. Because of how well Justin explained the process and how great the crew followed through, I have absolutely zero complaints!

I decided to put a review back after AVID paid me to take my review down. I wondered why there were so many positive reviews but now it makes sense. I continue to be disappointed with the attitude from their VP and salesperson. After weeks of being ignored after work that didn’t meet inspection, ruining our siding, and not meeting promises, I was berated on the phone by their VP of Revenue who was extremely sexist and belittling on the phone. He tried to tell me our siding was already falling off which is why it looks like that after AVID touched it. Below you will find a photo of our home and siding in May and another after their work was completed. Our siding survived many years before AVID, blizzards and high winds but they will still blame us and not take accountability. They also had to come back 4 times to resolve unsatisfactory findings. The VP also told me the field manager stopped responding to me after I threatened legal action. I don’t see any of that in the texts below, just poor communication from your field managers. BEWARE of this company and just pay someone who knows what they are doing! And definitely do not be a woman trying to stand your ground about work being done on your home, they will just try to make a joke out of you. We didn’t receive one apology.

I recently had Avid Energy Solutions insulate my attic and basement, and I couldn’t be happier with how everything went. From the start, Justin in sales was great. He took his time explaining the whole process, the different options, and what kind of benefits I could expect. He answered all my questions and made me feel really good about my decision. The installation crew, led by Ramone, was fantastic. They were professional, polite, and super respectful of my house the whole time. They made sure to cover everything and protect the floors and furniture so there was no mess. The work itself turned out excellent — you could tell they really paid attention to detail. And when they were done, they cleaned up so well it looked like they’d never been there. I’d highly recommend Avid Energy Solutions to anyone thinking about insulation or energy upgrades. They went above and beyond on service, quality, and cleanup.

Justin communicated well before the appointment and showed up on time. He was very helpful informing me about the heating, cooling and insulation current status. He shares some recommendations around maintaining or fixing some of those things. He was patient and helpful during all of my questions about financing and process. I’m sure we will be moving forward with Avid, the Mass Save program, and Justin.

Starting with Mike Safo-Agyeman who came to do an assessment, it was an absolutely wonderful experience. He was professional, competent and answered so many questions. Two days later Tyler and Malique came to do the actual work, and they couldn't have been nicer and more competent and accommodating. What a phenomenal group of young men. All three of these young men make this company look really good! Thank you so much!
