“I would highly recommend Jendell Construction. My wife and I are "do it yourselfers" that have redone 4 bathrooms (2 complete gut jobs) and installed floating and hardwood floors. Having worked construction during college summers I am fully aware of what can go on (subcontractors not showing up for days) and have been hesitant at hiring anyone. However, not having the time to take on a full kitchen remodel we decided to go with Jendell. First, being a do it yourselfer, Jendell worked with us and let us do the demolition, painting and tiling so we could save on labor costs. Karen Weinstein was extremely helpful during the planning process, spending 3 hours initially to figure out the best possible use of our unique space. She also oversaw the process intermittently, being sure everything was being completed to everyone's specifications. Mark Cantor was cheerful and always willing to put us at ease with a simple e-mail when we had questions. We never felt like we were trying to find out what was going on next . His responsiveness is great and is likely why the project ran smooth: he was on top of everything. Our project manager, Cliff was very kind, considerate and inventive as to how to solve problems that naturally occur in construction projects. Cliff took time every morning and left us notes on the progress being made which was refreshing. He even thought about our 3 cats and their comfort/safety during the entire process. I will definitely call them up again if there is a project that is too large for me and my wife to handle.”
