How Company Scores Are Calculated

Best Pick Reports uses consumer feedback and due diligence to determine company qualification status.

Qualification Rating Basis

The company's qualification rating relies on either past three years of Google reviews or Best Pick Reports survey data spanning the same period.

Qualification Options

Companies can achieve Best Pick status through one of two paths:

Option 1 - Google Reviews:

  • Overall rating of 4.0 or higher
  • Minimum of 15 Google reviews for primary category
  • Minimum of 10 additional reviews per extra category

Option 2 - Survey Data:

At least 80 percent of recent customers contacted during research must report satisfaction. The Overall Satisfaction scores of all reviews are averaged together to determine the comprehensive Overall Satisfaction score used for qualification.

Initial Qualification Requirements

If minimum Google review thresholds aren't met, companies must submit customer lists for internal research via email and phone surveys. New companies must achieve 80 percent satisfaction from at least 15 completed surveys. Companies entering new categories must meet a grade of at least 80% and 15+ surveys per category.

Ongoing Maintenance

Companies must maintain identical satisfaction rates annually through Google reviews or internal research.

Three-Year Window

Your company's qualification rating and review count spanning the last three years of survey data can be found to the left of your company's profile on bestpickreports.com. Reviews outside this window don't factor into current scores.
