Edgar at Shirey Home Pro is one of the best handymen we've worked with. We originally hired him for a few repairs, but after seeing the quality of his work, we asked him to come back for even more. He patched several holes, repaired three doors, tracked down and fixed a leaking refrigerator water line, installed closet shelves and hanging rods, repaired a floor threshold, replaced a faulty drain pipe, fixed a vent leak in the attic, sealed foundation cracks, and took care of many other projects around our home. Every job was completed with great attention to detail, and he always took the time to make sure the repair was well done. What really sets Edgar apart is that he genuinely cares about solving problems. He told us he had been thinking about a challenging repair and came back with a well-thought-out solution. That level of dedication and pride in his work is rare, and it shows in the quality of the results. Edgar was professional, reliable, and easy to work with throughout the entire process. It's hard to find someone with such a broad skill set who also takes real pride in what he does. Highly recommend Shirey Home Pro if you need a reliable team that can handle a wide range of work and gets it done well! I had a 40+ item punch list that spanned plumbing, painting, carpentry, door repairs, and fixture installations — the kind of project that doesn't fit neatly into one specialty. Sarah, Project Coordinator, got me scheduled quickly during a busy season and was responsive to every question. Edgar, Lead Carpenter, was outstanding — knowledgeable, skilled, and efficient. He diagnosed and fixed a malfunctioning shower fixture, replaced toilet valves, installed a kitchen faucet, repainted garage doors and railings, repaired drywall and shiplap, adjusted doors, added weatherstripping, and several other items. The billing is transparent (time and materials) and I always knew what I was paying for. Edgar and Sarah are a pleasure to work with!

I've worked with Shirey a couple of times this year. Each time, my project manager has been very responsive and quick to get me a proposal. Once they schedule a tech, they techs have been professional and skilled at the work I've asked of them. This week, Edgar worked here for 2 days and was amazing! He was able to add insulation to my side attic (walls, plumbing, and exhaust ducts), extend flashing around my chimney, swap out a light fixture, and paint some rusty exhaust vents in just over a day of work. Thank you!

We had two kitchen cabinets that were damaged by a water leak, and the water mitigation company had to remove the ruined lowest interior base and bottom particle board panels, plus some lower side supports for each, but fortunately all visible laminate surfaces were undamaged. This made for a small, yet very tricky repair job which if unsuccessful would have forced us into a complete kitchen remodel. We called Shirey for help with this repair and really appreciated their quick response. Jeromy their lead carpenter did an outstanding job, and more quickly than estimated! We highly recommend Shirey!

Just wanted to say how impressed we are with the work Edgar recently completed in our home. The work included cabinet door hinge replacement and adjustment, hanging a large canvas that required ladder work and a mirror that was heavy with mounting brackets that were not level. Everything turned out great! Looking forward to future projects that Edgar can help us with.
