Had an excellent experience with Leaf Filter for gutter guards. The installation professional (Shaun S) was prompt, so kind and explained everything with an accurate estimate for install time. Grateful that Bob M (installation manager) was able to contact me to get the job started today before I made it back home from an appointment. My rep (Jason Wilterdink) took time to review and recommend best options for my home, secured job cost within my budget and organized install a week after our first visit (by the way- install could have been within 48 hours, I asked for the delay due to my scheduling needs). This is a great company with quality products and staff. My brother has also used them for his home in IL. I highly recommend them and look forward to never having to clean my gutters again!

We LOVE our new lighting on the house! The spotlight pattern is great for overnight and there are so many variations to pick from. The colors and the thousands of shades you can create are so cool. Ricardo, our installer was excellent! He was so helpful in showing me all that I needed to know and more! You can definitely see by the quality of his work and expertise at it, that he loves what he’s doing and takes great pride in doing a fantastic job for the customer! Highly recommend this company!!

Please proceed with CAUTION. These people attempted to scam my parents after they had requested a quote to fix a PORTION of their gutter. They gave them a range of a $2000-$5000 job, which in this economy, not everybody has a luxury of having at any given moment. I mean if that was the average cost of fixing gutters these days then that’s something we would accept. However, how I knew something was off is when they they followed up with repayment options which included a 15 year and 20 year payment plan for about $85-$87 a month which would cost them over $15,000 in total after everything. If my parents didn’t know any better, they would’ve been taken advantage of. They live in a small rambler in West Saint Paul, and this is absolutely predatory behavior. The rep even tried to convince them they would “save money” in the long run. I am appalled by the unethical conduct of this company. If I could give less than one star, I would.

I like the product but it’s not performing as the sales rep stated it would. I had water seep into my basement due to not having long enough downspout extensions. I asked the crew if it was long enough, they said yes. Clearly not. There’s a tech here right now to adjust for the second time. It should have been done right in the first place. I also should not have had to purchase on my own extensions for them, the techs should have seen I had long ones on my old gutters and installed additional extensions. Communication is abysmal, I called the local office multiple times and nobody picks up. Called the national office, they pick up and talk to me, but for any of the actual work, communication needs to get back to local office. I’ve requested multiple times for a phone call from a manager, but it doesn’t come. Today I requested an email but I’m not confident it will actually happen. I requested multiple times for a callback from a manager to discuss warranty options, it’s been a week and I just called back today. They said someone will be reaching out, we’ll see if it actually happens. Initially, a rep said that I couldn’t claim warranty because of natural causes, tree debris on the filter causing overflow — isn’t your product supposed to prevent overflow in the first place, having the rain get the debris to go over? A major part of their marketing materials was “never get on a ladder again”. At this rate, I will have to clean them myself and that defeats the entire purpose of gutter guards. Edit: called back from manager, basically said there was nothing they could do. They are sending out 6 additional downspout extensions so I can return the ones I purchased, but not able to honor warranty. If your installers installed incorrectly CAUSING WATER IN THE BASEMENT, some compensation should be offered. Working in customer service, I would have at least offered a partial credit. Nothing.

We couldn’t be happier with the service we received from Leaf Filter. Nathan was great to deal with. The pricing was great. We had had Leaf Filter in the past, but after a storm, our contractor removed our beloved Leaf Filter and replaced the gutter guards with the bottom of the barrel cheap stuff. We couldn’t wait to get the Leaf Filter reinstalled. It works incredibly well and it’s worth every penny. We’re very happy with our product and with the service they provided.
