Alex was great! He fixed our garage door issue and didn’t push any sales on me after I made it clear we were just looking to have the issue repaired. I have no complaints about him at all. The reason for 3 stars is the overall experience with the company. I scheduled the service, they cancelled and rescheduled, then cancelled and rescheduled again for a week later. Then after the $178 (reasonable) repair was completed, they put 3 large red advertising stickers on our existing garage door and equipment. One small service sticker on the garage door would be completely understandable and pretty standard. But they put a large one on the garage door opener box (which is out of reach), another on the garage door, and another above the garage door. I could maybe understand this a little more if they had installed the door and opener, although 3 would still be excessive. But putting your advertising all over someone’s existing equipment after a $178 repair is obnoxious. We were told our garage door is getting older and will likely need replacement in the not-too-distant future. Unfortunately, this experience makes it unlikely we’ll use A1 for that replacement. Again, I don’t blame Alex. He was great. This seems to be a company practice, and I’m just not a fan of having large advertisements stuck all over my property after paying for a repair.

I had a fantastic experience getting the springs on my garage door replaced, and a lot of that came down to the two gentlemen who did the work. Spencer was the lead on the job and he was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. He was patient, friendly, and genuinely knowledgeable. I had a lot of questions going in (more than I’d care to admit) and he took the time to answer every single one of them clearly, without ever making me feel like I was slowing him down. He walked me through what he was doing, explained why certain components were being replaced, and made sure I understood the warranty and the options I had before we moved forward. That kind of patience and transparency is rare. Alex was working alongside him and was just as great. Easy to talk to, clearly knew his stuff, and contributed a lot of helpful insight throughout the visit. It was obvious they take pride in what they do. Beyond the technical work, both guys were respectful of my home, kept the work area clean, and finished up exactly when they said they would. No pressure, no upsells, no surprises on the final bill. Just honest, high-quality work delivered by two true professionals. If you’re considering this company, ask for Spencer and Alex specifically. I would absolutely recommend their work to family and friends, and they’ll be my first call the next time anything garage door related comes up. Five stars without hesitation.

Excellent service from start to finish! The technician was professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and punctual. He quickly identified the problem, explained everything clearly, and completed the repair efficiently. The garage door is working perfectly now. We had a great experience with Ashton Olshen our A1 technician. He was knowledgeable, professional, and took the time to explain everything about our new garage door opener, belt, and rail installation. He treated our home with respect, answered all of my questions, and made sure I understood how everything worked before he left. The installation was completed efficiently, and Ashton cleaned up thoroughly afterward, leaving the area spotless. The new opener is working perfectly and is much quieter than our old one.
