We had an excellent experience with G.L. Hunt! Matt was extremely friendly and professional. He called to let us know when he was on his way, arrived right on time, and took his time performing a thorough inspection of our home, both inside and out. He used specialized electronic equipment to take precise foundation elevation measurements throughout our home. Afterward, he provided us with a detailed report that included the elevation readings from around all of our walls. Matt concluded that we do not have any foundation issues at this time. We were very relieved to hear that, and his careful evaluation gave us tremendous peace of mind. We also really appreciated his honesty and never felt pressured into purchasing services we didn’t need. We will definitely contact G.L. Hunt if we notice anything that may be foundation-related in the future. We would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a professional, thorough, and trustworthy foundation inspection!

Buck Alden came out and inspected two homes for me, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. I was especially concerned about one of the homes, but Buck was incredibly honest, thorough, and helpful throughout the process. I've been hesitant to contact companies in the past because of experiences where I felt taken advantage of, so trust is very important to me. Thankfully, that was not the case here. Buck took the time to explain everything clearly and gave me straightforward, honest feedback without any pressure. I'm truly grateful for his professionalism, integrity, and hard work. Work was overall good, took 2 1/2 days for French drains, not the 1 day I was told upfront. Cleanup was good with my constant guidance for basic cleanup after the “ big mess” Communications by phone and email is horrible. I have numerous unanswered emails that go unacknowledged. My work was done in the San Antonio area. . When I call the GL Hunt number, it goes to DFW area. They tell me they will pass the message to San Antonio and they will get back with me. San Antonio never calls. Then the billing….The quoted fee is very misleading. It clearly says : “Manager Discount - 10% Off - Cash: Final discount authorized by a G.L. Hunt Manager” But you don’t know that the fee they quote you is a fee with the 10% already included in the discount. So most businesses will quote you a fee, show you the actual price or a cash discounted rate. Honest billing would have been to quote me a fee that was 10% higher and show me the 10% off fee. This then makes you think their quote is lower than the competitor. To be honest, they should say” discounted rate is included in the final quote” I thought I would get 10% cash discount for the fee they quote me. That would have been @$1300 off my @ 13,000 project. Just… very misleading no matter how you look at it! Not sure I can recommend. Would verify the issues I brought forward before signing a contract.
