58 Foundations is an absolute gem. I cannot recommend them enough. The team was responsive, prompt, and attentive and quickly identified the root causes for moisture in my crawlspace. Normally, I have to gather multiple quotes, researching the options on my own, and trying to decide which agent to trust. Our 58 agent was diligent in documenting the current state and explaining the options. Their pricing was utterly reasonable and very fair, and I felt comfortable with everything proposed. No need to haggle back and forth or gather multiple, conflicting estimates. The work was completed on time and within budget. It doesn't get any better.

My review of 58 Foundations on our basement dig-out project. Please be advised that 58 Foundations appears to operate in violation of home improvement regulations in the District of Columbia. Their contracts are legally deficient, as they omit both the salesperson’s license number and the project commencement date. Furthermore, the District of Columbia Licensing Board (DCLP) was unable to locate a license for our specific salesperson or any other individual at the firm. It seems they don't have a licensed DC salesperson. Following a ten-month delay, the company proposed a change order that would double the initial project cost. This increase is a direct result of the original salesperson's lack of expertise and professional neglect. Additionally, the company proposed a solution that is illegal under DC regulations, and their internal communication remains highly disorganized. Under District of Columbia law, performing home improvement sales without a proper license or executing contracts without commencement dates and salesperson license numbers may entitle clients to a full refund of the contract price, regardless of work completion. I recommend that any parties engaged with this company review their legal standing regarding these practices. Please be cautious if you decide to challenge this company. Their management called and threatened us claiming that we will run out of money before they do.

58 Foundations did a great job helping ensure the the property's foundation was in compliance and secured. Matt King went out of his way to help make the best affordable option and customized what I needed to fit my budget. Jennifer Fajardo helped facilitate the project. Gualberto Iriarte and the crew member helping him ensured the job was done properly. 58 Foundations is a great company with great results.

Work was done in the summer of 2025. Had developed a leak in our garage where water was coming up through the foundation block. Decided to also hear about crawlspace encapsulation when meeting with the sales rep. We live where the water table is very high and crawlspace is always damp despite having sump pump and dehumidier. Ultimately decided to have both jobs done. Crew showed up promptly. Very neat, put down sheets over all inside areas being walked on and cleaned up after themselves wherever they were. Job was supposed to take 3 days, but was completed in two. "Raff" (Rafael) was the crew lead and kept us well informed of the progress and what was being done as well as showing us an overview once the work was completed. We haven't had any water in the garage since the repair (crossing fingers) and the crawlspace has undergone a complete transformation, and is no longer smelling damp. Not going to lie- the job was expensive, but compettitive with other quotes. No complaints whatsoever as to the work done. Very satisfied with everything.
