Edit: Owen, the Director of Operations, reached out to me after I posted my initial review and personally came out to the property to inspect the work. He validated our concerns by identifying some errors in the work that was completed. He was very transparent about the specific shortfalls and was able to provide pictures of everything he found. He scheduled the crew to come back out, with his and Jeff's supervision, to fix the work that was done. I'm happy to say the floor is now repaired properly and feels dramatically better to walk on. I appreciate Owen and Jeff taking the time to make things right. Overall pretty disappointed with our experience dealing with USS Chattanooga office. Maybe it was a one-off situation, but we had hoped for a better experience based off the good reviews. Our floor project took months to resolve because of communication issues within their team. Management was never on the same page as the work crew. They did an incomplete job fixing the floor the first time around, and it was up to us to keep calling and scheduling for them to come back out and fix the work. I think the crew was not equipped to deal with the level of structural repair we required. The first round of work was completely faulty and accomplished very little. After several visits, they sort of tackled the issue but we never got confirmation from the management team that all the jacks and joist work we paid for was actually completed. The crew would show up at our house and not even come to the door to tell us they were there, and then leave without a word. $11,000 later and we are left with a floor that still feels wobbly and not completely safe to walk on.

The whole team at USS was wonderful . Matt was who I spoke to first about full encapsulation of my son’s new construction. Matt was so helpful and friendly and scheduled Levi to come out and help us decide what we needed to do. Levi was also extremely helpful and friendly and gave us several options and prices after he did the full inspection in the crawl space . Chris , and Peyton came out to do the actual encapsulation and they had it done in two days . They did a great job !!! This was a new construction and the yard was so muddy . I was very impressed that they didn’t get mud in the brand new white crawl space . They did not leave any thing that I had to clean up . They were so professional from the first call to the end result . If you’re looking for professional , educated, and dependable guys hire this company . Thanks again to all of you for making this encapsulation worry free.

Professional from start to finish. Had foundation repair and waterproofing done. Very happy with the results, thank you to Brayden, Grant, Nick, and Matt for your services. They showed up on time and got everything done and kept me informed on the progress throughout the week. My house is 1930 and has had a serious water problem for a number of years. These guys came out and assessed the situation and explained to me the best options and as to why they were the best options given out situation. Crawlspace has been relined and looks great, and they even dida mold treatment. Thanks again crew, would highly recommend.

I had a great experience working with United Structural Systems. I worked primarily with Alex and Matthew, and they were excellent from the initial quote all the way through project completion. Communication was clear, timely, and thorough throughout the entire process. I live out of state, so finding a local company I could truly trust was essential - especially for foundation repairs and the installation of several piers. I needed a quote fairly urgently, and United Structural Systems delivered a detailed, well-explained estimate quickly. They also recommended a much better solution than another company I had quoted, which gave me a lot of confidence in their expertise and integrity. The team completed all of the required structural repairs and also took care of the cosmetic touch-ups. The end result was a very clean, high-quality repair. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the experience and would absolutely recommend United Structural Systems to anyone needing foundation or structural work.

Recently, I was under contract to buy a new-build home. I requested a bathroom remodel, and the seller was agreeable to this if I provided a hefty non-refundable deposit that would go towards the house purchase. The home inspection was scheduled to take place after the BR remodel was complete. I was telling a friend, and she encouraged me to have United Structural Systems come in and do a preliminary inspection, a company she has previous experience with. I didn’t think this was necessary on a new build, but my friend was insistent, and eventually I caved. Thank goodness! During Michael Sylvan’s assessment of the house, he noted multiple issues, including a 2-inch discrepancy in opposite corners of the garage floor with a crack running the entire length of the floor, from the back wall to the front bay; the crack wasn’t apparent until he pointed it out. Without Michael’s skill in assessing the inferior workmanship or damages caused by such, I could have gotten tied into a contract or at the very least lost a boatload of money. I am indebted to Michael’s expertise and the USS company for their incredible customer service.
