We had a pretty great experience with Express Flooring, the only ‘negative’ thing I could point to would be the sales rep told us that they wouldn’t need to put our furniture outside or in the garage, but that was not the case, he also told us that it’d take four days counting Sunday but the workers don’t work on Sunday. Not a big deal because the workers were pretty fast literally 2 days, not counting Sunday and they had demo’s and installed the flooring including quarter round. Amazing experience with the workers and the company in general.

If you're looking for a beautiful floor at a reasonable price but don't give a FLIP about the care the installation team takes of your home, then go for it. We had four rooms done, two of which reused baseboard and two which had new baseboard installed. We prepped our space as requested by the company. We knew the thinner floor depth would necessitate repainting wall around a quarter inch above the existing baseboard when reinstalled. Yet in one room, we have damage to a wall that requires more than a simple paint fix because they did a very poor job of removing a section of baseboard, ripping off the texture and drywall skin well above the base. (Their suggestion--just paint it. Sorry, that doesn't repair the SURFACE TEXTURE). They deal with moving your heavy furniture--great--but when they put together the bed frame again, they don't care if they crack an irreplaceable sideboard. (Their answer--attach an unsightly metal bracket.) And finally--which is an inconvenience that will necessitate the cost of professional cleaning and pressing, they TIED IN A TIGHT KNOT custom draperies to move them out of their way when they could have draped them over the rod--and IF they couldn't have managed that seemingly simple task--they should have at least UNTIED them when they were completed with that particular room. They left them in a knot for me to deal with at the end of the day, well after the room was completed and they'd moved on to cleaning up their mess, leaving them considerably wrinkled. We have two rolls of removed carpet they were supposed to dispose of-admittedly their truck was pretty full by then-but they failed to come back and get it so now we have that debris to deal with as well. We were initially told the installation might take 2 days, yet the install team was clearly determined to knock it out in one because by their end of the day, they were obviously hurrying to leave. So they succeeded in their 1-day knock out. But at the price of me being able to actually recommend this company. The company did send out an "inspector" to review the situation, and to date no satisfactory resolution has been made except that they've decided on the metal bracket to fix the bed. The ops manager apparently says the rest of the damage is covered in the contract. We respectfully disagree. My advice? Unless you have an empty house for them to work in where they cannot damage your personal possessions, LOOK ELSEWHERE.

They do not honor their "Lifetime Installation Warranty". Said I have to call it in within 72 hrs in a 2 year period. How is that Lifetime? The carpet is bowing up everywhere and they said it is not a warranty issue. So it is a low quality carpet issue? Either way, bad experience and questionable sales practices to claim a Lifetime warranty, when clearly it is not. 5 rooms, a den, and 2 hallways, and all have issues as seen in photos. How is this not an installation issue? I bought Carpet from Home Depot 10 years prior and that carpet is still in great shape and not bowing up! Not a fan anymore of Express Flooring and I can't recommend them. Lost my business and am happy to share my honest experience with anyone that asks.

Communication: nonexistent. Workers did not arrive within 2hr scheduled window. I called and was put on hold...and it was never picked back up. When workers did arrive, neither spoke English so we had to use Google Translate. The flooring they brought was unlabeled and it took nearly an hour to confirm it was the right one as they'd brought 0 documentation with them. At 5pm (on a quoted 1-day job) I came out of the office to find the stairs and landing still undone because they did not bring enough flooring and were bringing in more with a second team from over an hour away. At no point was this communicated, they just hung out in the house doing absolutely nothing for hours. When the second crew showed up, they insisted they could finish the project and I said they had to be out of the house by 8pm. At 815 I had to physically escort them out of the house even though they were nowhere near done. They returned at 7 the following day and finished around 5pm. They ran out of baseboards and were trying to leave this portion as-is because it was "small" but I insisted on a Lowe's trip to finish the job. Pictures shown are how much of the job was completed after day 1 and how they were trying to leave the baseboards. I spoke via phone and email to Laura, the service rep who measured the floors and the response was that she hoped I was enjoying the floors and that she'd "ask for it to be as close to cost on product as possible" if I did any more projects with them. I would not recommend this company nor would I use them again.

Got wood look tile installed in my main living areas and den, carpets in bedrooms. $13,000. Looks great. Yes they use sub contractors, but my experience was great. I would recommend if you want to save a few grand.
