Highly recommend this company. Honest, hard working, very professional. Casey came out to do the initial inspection and spent HOURS with us. He listened to our needs and made recommendations, documented everything, and was very upfront about costs. We had an expensive upgrade to our old home (full panel replacement in addition to smaller projects) so we expected the cost to be rather high. The company has great financing options, though, which we really appreciated. Joe and Tre were such excellent electricians. They took great care to thoughtfully plan and execute every step so they could make as few holes in our home as possible while running new wires. They also planned around my baby's nap schedule to make sure her room was always available and as quiet as possible during nap times! They were so kind to my other kiddo and so personable with me. They answered all my questions and were very communicative about their plans for each day and how long it might take them to complete each day's task so I could plan my day around them. They managed to complete our many and complicated projects in 4 days, instead of the expected 8. I would not hesitate to hire Chesapeake Electric again!

Another fantastic repair today from Chesapeake electric. They are communicative, trustworthy, informative, and efficient. Gary was extremely pleasant to work with, and even went out of his way to repair another switch while he was here replacing my landscape light. Highly recommend.

An email was directed specifically to the owner of Chesapeake Electric, Ryan Deshaies for a response on May 12, 2026. A follow up call has been received. I had the pleasure of meeting electrician, Zack in response to a call for service primarily for difficulty with plugging cords into the two outlets installed by the company back in 2023. Zack was absolutely an amazing employee. He took his time to answer questions providing a breakdown of technical information in an understandable manner. He was polite and respectful. Ryan Deshaies, (owner of Chesapeake electric) called with an apology regarding the timeliness of responding to my specific concerns. Ryan took the time to come out and rectify the issue himself. He was courteous and kind. I would recommend this company. I plan to continue to rely on this company for any future electrical needs.

Brian Walsh is the best electrician hands down! Courteous, competent and proficient. So far I’ve had similar experiences with other Chesapeake Electrical employees. I have used Chesapeake Electric in the past with excellent results. When we needed an electrician again, Ryan came promptly to help us with an outage that the usual GFI and fuse management usually fixed. He quickly found the issue, made the repair and also recommended replacing a cracked weather-resistant outlet he noticed. I appreciate his efficient, yet relaxed demeanor and would recommend this company to others.
