Hiring contractors in Austin is like a box of chocolates; you never know what you’re gonna get! Our experience with DC ELECTRIC has been nothing but positive and I wholeheartedly recommend them. Dani, a licensed electrician (not salesman) arrived to do a walkthrough of issues with flickering under cabinet lighting that never were right to begin with, some breaker issue, worn out sockets, and the installation of ceiling fans. He welcomed me to follow him around and was happy to educate me about this mystery of electricity. I enjoyed our visit letting me know what needed attention, what I could do myself, what could wait for later. Project day was scheduled soon after. Dani, Lovell, and Carlos arrived right on time, introduced themselves, set up plastic to place supplies on and keep things tidy, organized a strategy, and made our home flow with power. They were professional, skilled, friendly, capable, efficient, respectful of my home and its atmosphere. I had the utmost confidence in them to do the job right. AND they did! Hands down I will call DC Electric for everything electric and will request Dani, Lovell, and Carlos to return again if they’re available. The under cabinet lights are no longer flickering; they’re now a better kelvin too. If kelvin is an unknown term for you, ask Dani to explain. He’ll be happy to illuminate.

Lovell, Rico and Rodney are stellar! They were prompt, prepared, kind with our pets and accommodating during the visit. Speedy with the repairs / updates and able to accomplish everything without cutting into the walls. This was super exciting as every project with this house has posed challenges. Happy to have found a resource for our electrical needs, I hope not to have to call them too soon 😂 but glad to have found a trustworthy resource. The team was mindful of cleanup to ensure none of our furry ones snagged any debris from the attic or work. 10 out of 10 recommend.

I was replacing a fluorescent light fixture with a new LED panel from Costco and needed a box installed. Rashad came out and provided a reasonable quote. He was very professional and personable. The next day he returned with Dani to install the box. It was tricky because of ductwork and pipes but they got it done and even installed the new fixture for me. My wife and I are very satisfied customers and based on this experience with Rashad and Dani we highly recommend DC Electric!

Dani, Lovell, and Jose did a fantastic job on installing my Anker Powerdock, E10, and new Span panel. Fast, efficient, clean, and extremely knowledgeable about the hardware and setup. I’ve spent hours playing with my new setup! They entertained all my curiosity and questions. Appreciate the hard work and professionalism.

We purchased a new construction home that has countless issues, one of which being the electrical had a risk for arcing because a screw was too short to secure the panel to the bus, so the installer just left the screw sitting in the panel. We had 4 different Master Electricians out telling us we needed to replace the entire panel and it would be a ton of work and thousands of dollars. Thankfully we had Danny Haddad from DC Electric out who said we just need to order a longer screw to secure the panel, and took care of some other things. After 4 electricians we feel like finally this guy gets it and he clearly had a lot of empathy for our situation. We liked him right away and finally felt taken care of by someone who actually knows what’s going on. He was very thorough in explaining the process and making us feel safe. My husband has some previous experience/ knowledge of electrical so everything made perfect sense that he was saying. He was tidy, prompt and communicative. Thanks to him we finally feel safe in our new home and are able to sleep at night without fear. God bless Danny!
