PWHI is fantastic! My new deck is absolutely beautiful and perfect for entertaining and relaxing. They made the entire process so easy-from selecting materials and style, contracting, and scheduling. The team kept me well informed on what work was happening each day, and they beat their original schedule with their highly professional skills and strong work ethic. I give PWHI my highest recommendation and would love to work with them again.

Working with the team at PWHI was an exceptional experience. The office staff was knowledgeable and communicative, and the building crew was courteous, prompt, and tidy. The value for the product was excellent. And I am very pleased with my new deck.

Overall, our experience with Prince William Home Improvement was excellent. The craftsmanship on our new deck and patio is wonderful, the on-site crews were incredibly courteous, and the speed of completion was impressive. We are thrilled with the final results and the quality of the work! From sales to project management, the team was supportive and responsive to our questions. The minor hiccups along the way don't change how happy we are with the outcome, but as with any major project, it helps to stay on top of communication regarding expectations. We had a few small communication gaps regarding multi-phase project sign-offs and final site cleanup, but the team was always prompt in addressing our concerns once we flagged them. Thank you to the whole team for their hard work and for building us a beautiful outdoor space. We truly appreciate their responsiveness and would happily recommend their craftsmanship to others!

Working with PWHI was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The communication was excellent; their project manager kept us updated on progress and ensured we were happy with the daily results. They completed the project on schedule, kept a tidy workspace. We are thrilled with our new deck! The craftsmanship is excellent, the structure is solid. We highly recommend them for any outdoor renovation! We are very satisfied and happy with the extra space at home.

PWHI did a fantastic job on our deck. From the estimate meeting to removing the existing deck, to the finished product, everything was done with the utmost professionalism. Constant communication & updates throughout the process. We couldn’t be happier.

"The design of our patio was changed by the workers - and we really didnt realize it until we looked at it carefully. It is an unacceptable mess. If the supervisor was onsite, he was not recognizable. If I had the time I would get on every social media account I have and warn others away from this company."

"Make sure at the initial meeting you understand what you are getting. That was the only problem - is that we were getting something different other than what we are getting. Please have them define horizontal versus vertical. It was very confusing. Their idea of horizontal or vertical had nothing to do with what the posts are going to be imbedded in. We thought it was going to be the tracks because we were told by Cash, that anything horizontal would be tracked. Anything vertical would be wood. We thought everything would be tracked - so I wouldn't have to have everything stained. I am not trying to be nasty, but I don't want to have to paint the stain for the next 20 years of my life. We thought what was holding the metal posts going vertically would be mounted into the tracks. We had no idea about what wrapped meant. We would like to have the choice to decline or accept it. On the other hand, we are so pleased with the work they did. Everybody that came here couldn't have been more nicer or accommodating. My son was very impressed. We paid a lot of money for this and it wasn't quite what I expected."

"We are very happy with how the screened porch turned out and with the quality of the workmanship. We received very good support from the customer service team. There were some glitches, including a design flaw, that delayed the project start and added significantly to our cost. "I was given a $300 check for repair to the ruined lawn, but only after I pursued the issue and sent photos showing the damage. The check finally came but not until I called to ask why it did not arrive as promised. I did not appreciate the repeated requests for a review by phone, email and mail. I especially did not like being called at home at 8 in the evening. Prince William has a terrific product but they dropped the ball at the very end. "Although the beginning of the process was very rocky and I was very unhappy, the end result turned out to be amazing. Once we were able to get on the same page of my expectations, everything turned out great."

"From the initial design consultation to the final inspection we had a great experience with this company. The employees and contractors from office to site are professional, skilled and knowledgeable. The work started and ended a week earlier than we expected and the carpenters and crew had to deal with a lot of mud after heavy rain halfway through the project. The company sent someone after completion to wash the deck again, which we did not expect. All were pleasant to work with and clearly showed we were important to them."

"I believe quality control should have been better, as a professional in my field we QC everything that leaves our shop. No matter how minor you might think it is, it can be something a customer might see as a big deal. If I have an issue with something, I expect it to be taken care of not hearing an excuse why something is not right."

"I had three major projects completed at the same time, out of the three companies, Prince William Home Improvement were superb. They provided me with great communication even after the completion of the project. Prince William Home Improvement explained the delays in the process and they reached out to me which meant I never had to reach out to them throughout the entire process. If I ever have a major project that falls under Prince William Home Improvement services, I will be using them again as I was able to make a comparison during my project as I had multiple companies and projects going on at the same time and Prince William Home Improvement far exceeded the other companies. I love my deck that was installed by Prince William Home Improvement."

"I can't argue with the excellent workmanship however, we did exceed the budgeted amount I had planned to spend. The completion timeliness was excellent and the crew cleaned and left the place better than I had it before the project started. My designer provided some excellent ideas to enhance/expand the project at a later date, I am just hoping that it will not exceed my budget again. I was very pleased to see that I had a project manager come by daily to check on the progress, that was a plus."

"From start to finish PWHI was simply awesome. The communication, understanding of style desires, quality of work and speed in which they completed the work was incredible. The crew showed up every day on time and just worked. No sitting around wasting time, just did what they were there to do. They completed our project in just over 3.5 days and it was not cutting corners at all! I know when we are ready to do our front yard, PWHI will be the only call we make!"

"Considering the cost of the deck and the pitch on the reputation of the company's expertise, I did not expect to have a crass error with one of the columns placed right in front of the basement sliding door. The company did not realize this until project was finished, when WE went to check the completion of the deck we realized this huge design flaw and safety issue."

"PWHI was excellent from start to finish. They designed our deck to suit our needs, ran the gauntlet of getting the relevant permits, started work promptly thereafter, worked continuously until the project was completed, and easily made some adjustments that we sought along the way. High marks on all accounts!"

"PWHI built a deck assessable from our back door. I liked that they spelled out exactly what they were going to do and when it would be done, and that they gave us a payment plan. They submitted the plans to our HOA, and provided any paperwork that they needed. PWHI communicated with us every step of the way. They were actually able to begin and complete the work about 3 weeks ahead of schedule."

I am hoping they will continue to make it right and help me deal with this polymer-sand issue. I may have just had a bad batch.
