I recently had a deck built and am very happy with the craftsmanship. Lillian (I hope I spelled his name correctly) in particular was great. He was able to explain things in an understandable way and was always willing to give detail when needed, but not too much to overwhelm the customer. The initial framing in particular was very good (again credit to Lilian) I would have given 5 stars but I was quoted a specific range in terms of time to completion (by the sales folk/main office, not Lilian) and it ended up taking much longer than that. I later found out the lateness was a combination of the village permit process and the engineer internal to Royal decks making changes that the permitting office requested. I was given a small discount in regards to the lateness which I am appreciative of. I would definitely recommend Royal Deck but don't make plans around the date of completion since there are uncontrollable factors in play.

Wanted an elevated deck upgrade. Royal Deck came out, took it seriously, put together a plan. We had an older backyard setup. Not the simplest job. The build ran a couple of weeks. The new deck changed how we use the backyard. Meals outside, evenings outside, the kids prefer it to being inside. Even the dog has a spot she goes to every morning. Going in I was mostly hoping it would turn out decent. It ended up being more than that.

We would highly recommend Royal Deck to anyone looking to build or replace their deck! From the very beginning, the experience was outstanding. We worked with Ryan, who took the time to answer all of our questions, came out to discuss exactly what we wanted, and then met with us again to review the final plans before construction began. One of the things we appreciated most was being able to visit Royal Deck’s showroom. Unlike other companies that only brought small samples, we were able to walk on the different decking materials, see the colors in person, and feel the textures for ourselves. Looking back, I’m so glad we didn’t make our decision based on a tiny sample or a picture. Ryan also showed us multiple completed projects featuring the brands and colors we were considering, which gave us so much confidence in our final choice. As a bonus, our toddler had a great time sitting on the displays and testing out his toy trucks on the different decking materials! When construction started, we were fortunate to have Stefan as project manager with his team Constantine and Adrian, and you absolutely want them on your project! They are the best team—punctual, professional, polite, cleaned up after themselves and incredibly hardworking. Our old deck was massive, falling apart, and in rough shape, yet in just a day and a half they had it completely removed and were already building the new one. Even when we made a few adjustments to the plans during construction, they handled every change without hesitation and made the process completely stress-free. The craftsmanship and attention to detail exceeded our expectations, and the finished deck is absolutely breathtaking. The entire experience—from our first meeting with Ryan to the final walkthrough with Constantine and Adrian—was exceptional. We couldn’t be happier with our beautiful new outdoor space and would recommend Royal Deck without hesitation to anyone considering a new deck.

I had an absolutely amazing experience with Royal Deck. From the very beginning, I went in to the office so that I could feel the materials and see all the colors. Raul was able to design the decks with the various colors, accent boards, and privacy screens as well as lighting in the posts and stairs. The final product looks AMAZING! The installation crew and Stefan were professional and extremely thorough. I am so glad to have found them and to have had such a beautiful outcome. I am planning on replacing my fencing on my property in the spring. I highly recommend them for the quality of their work and their professionalism. I wish I could give them 10 stars!

Major props to Alex, Stephen, Victor and the awesome Constantin of Royal Deck on an incredible job on our deck. I highly recommend them for your decking needs! They finished the job a month earlier than promised also, but would have held off if we wanted. We want to enjoy our September and October on the deck watching football and gazing at the maples across the pond, as they change from green to red. The dogs prefer to spend their time on the deck now! Excellent craftsmanship by all involved!
