As a first-time customer, I wanted to trust our "small but mighty" home with a company that would handle our project with genuine care. Even though our outdoor kitchen project was on the smaller side, Allied Outdoor Solutions blew me away. They treated our project with the utmost importance, delivering a high-quality, stunning design that perfectly matched our vision. Our designer, Austin, beautifully captured the exact essence of what we wanted and—alongside our project supervisor, Jay—seamlessly accommodated an upgrade we envisioned. Additionally, our project manager, Noah, provided fantastic oversight, ensuring the momentum never stalled and everything kept rolling smoothly from start to finish. The entire crew was incredibly knowledgeable, highly informative, and remarkably *kind*. We received consistent, transparent updates on timelines and next steps throughout the entire process. Allied completely transformed our backyard into a space we absolutely love. The results are so impressive that our friends have already requested their information, and we absolutely plan on returning to them for future projects. Give Allied Outdoor Solutions a try—I highly recommend them!

Positives: the initial meetings were fun! Designing the structures and creating the “dream” is definitely one thing Allied does extremely well. Being able to “see” what it would look like was huge! They embraced my ideas, suggested their own, and we created a model that I was able to reference from start to finish. The various crews (plumbers, electricians, flooring, etc) were fantastic! Very friendly and always left the site clean. I know it sounds weird to mention this as a positive, but mistakes on a job as big as ours are inevitable, and when a mistake was made, Allied was always ready to fix it with very few questions asked. The quality of work is truly fantastic! We have received nothing but “wow!”, “OMG” from visitors. Struggles: It took almost one year to the day to complete the work. Several delays, some big mistakes that took longer than we hoped to fix, and a change in project manager put a bit of a damper on things. We were promised that there would always be someone on site to handle things. That was definitely not the case. Workers were asking us questions all the time, usually with a language barrier, and that just wasn’t part of the deal. We’re paying a huge amount of money to not have to make decisions we’re simply not qualified to make. We are not the professionals. Luckily we work from home, but, our work was interrupted all the time to help and that was a drag. Communication was an ongoing issue, although once I “complained” about it, it improved. There was definitely lack of experience evident in some things that unfortunately were not fixable: 1) we decided to move entry door about 4 feet. Great…no problem. But they didn’t move the light switch. So now we enter the building and have to walk in the dark to turn on the lights. 2). We have bistro lights hanging on the exterior of both structures. Awesome…they look amazing. But no one on the team thought “well, how is she going to turn those in and off?” So they had to come back, rip apart the brick, rip open a wall, install electrical, and put all the brick back and redo the wall. Huge drag. We were often felt pressured to make decisions quickly and purchase things like light fixtures, refrigerators, etc that ended up not being needed for months! I had the refrigerator, ice maker, sink, faucet, etc for our bar structure sitting in my garage for about 7 months. That was a pain because we couldn’t park our car inside, and in Texas, that’s kind of important. We always voiced our dislikes to the team, who would respond immediately. And to us, that’s HUGE! They care about their reputation and will jump a mile to make sure the client is happy. And not just happy in the moment, but for a lifetime. I can’t say that about many brands or companies, so kudos to them! Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we would absolutely use them again and recommend Allied to anyone in the market for a similar product. There’s always going to be delays and various other issues in a construction project. Ours was rather unique and we all learned along the way. Both our bar and fireplace structures are stunning! Like…STUNNING! And we are beyond proud to show them off to friends, neighbors and family.

We recently completed a patio project with this company, and overall we have been extremely happy with both the process and the final result. Our project contractor, Jay, was absolutely amazing to work with from start to finish. He was polite, thorough, honest, trustworthy, easy to reach, and consistently showed incredible attention to detail throughout the project. The quality of the work exceeded our expectations at every step. It was clear that the team took pride in maintaining high standards, and the finished patio has truly transformed our outdoor space. We have genuinely enjoyed it every day since completion. One feature we especially appreciated was being able to use the Slake App for continual communication throughout the entire process. It made updates, questions, and scheduling much easier and helped us feel informed the whole time. The only negative experience we had was regarding project pricing transparency. After the project began, I requested a detailed breakdown of the charges so I could better understand the costs for items such as the concrete, carve stone, electrical outlets, etc. Unfortunately, they were unwilling to provide an itemized breakdown and would only give us a lump sum total for the project. While this was disappointing, it did not take away from the quality of the work itself. Overall, the craftsmanship and professionalism made this a very positive experience, and we would absolutely use them again in the future. The finished project has been spectacular.

I had a small patio extension. Allied treated me as special as a customer who was spending several thousands. They were professional, efficient, they stayed in contact keeping me informed on what to expect. They offered various financing options. I would definitely recommend Allied for your outdoor project

I hired Allied to do a patio design for my backyard. I love my house, but I needed something in my backyard to enjoy it even more and making it an area to host get togethers. After some research I found Allied, and man I am overjoyed and happy with my decision. Note: furniture was not included.
