I’m extremely happy with how my closet turned out. I got quotes from about 5 different companies, and Alexandra was the only one who truly understood exactly what I wanted from the start. They were very clear about expectations, timelines, and what was possible within my space and budget, which I really appreciated. A special shout-out to Alexandra, the designer, who did an amazing job bringing everything together. The design is not only beautiful but also very functional—they really used every inch of the space in a smart way. The installation team was fantastic. My building had some unexpected elevator issues on installation day, and they were incredibly patient and understanding. Despite that, they worked super efficiently, paid great attention to detail, and completed everything quickly. They also left the space spotless afterward. What impressed me the most was the customer service after the installation. After they left, I realized the desk height was actually too high for me. I called them, and they came back to adjust it without any issues. That level of care and responsiveness made the experience even better. Overall, the quality, professionalism, attention to detail, and customer service were all 10/10. I would absolutely recommend them and would work with them again.

I am having a terrible experience with this company. I do not recommend using them. I paid for this project in full 2.5 months ago, yet it remains incomplete. My experience has been characterized by a significant lack of professional oversight and communication: - Design and Planning: The designer, Kristina, did not seem to understand the project requirements. - Operational Failures: There has been zero communication between operations and the installers. I have had four different teams at my home, none of whom were briefed on the scope of work. Consequently, each team spent their time correcting errors made by the previous crew. - Delays: Despite full payment months ago, I am told the project is still delayed due to missing parts. - Lack of Accountability: It has been impossible to reach a manager. My calls are not being returned, and the operations contact has ceased all communication. This has been a terrible experience from start to finish. I do not recommend working with this company.

Several drawers in our kitchen had become difficult to open smoothly and would occasionally stick halfway. The handyman replaced the worn drawer slides and adjusted the alignment throughout the cabinetry during the visit. The project took about half a day. Compared to before, every drawer glides much more smoothly and closes properly without needing extra force. The kitchen also feels more organized because the drawers no longer shift unevenly or get jammed. It’s a detail many people probably overlook, but the improvement made daily cooking and cleanup noticeably more convenient.

Love the product and the process! From the moment they came in, Krisztina was an absolute pleasure to work with. She showed a genuine interest to understand my needs and checked back to make sure everything was on track. Scheduling installation was very accommodating even when I had to cancel at the last minute due to a bad cold. The installers were friendly and professional. They cleaned everything up so that there was nothing for me to do after they left. They’re not just closets. I had a hobby room and laundry room done and will use them again for my closets. Thank you JL Closets!

I've used JL Closets three separate times because their pricing is very competitive, especially with the solid repeat-customer discount – that's honestly the main reason I keep coming back.The work always gets done and the final product is good, but every job has had more headaches than it should: incomplete installations in the past, installers quitting or getting fired mid-job (leaving things confusing), and this most recent project had major delays.I told my sales rep about all the prior issues and was assured "things have changed and the team is now the strongest it's ever been." Unfortunately, the delays this time were the worst yet.If you need one of the most affordable custom options and have some patience, JL is worth considering.
