What a great experience I had with High’s Chimney Service! The administrative staff was extremely polite and helpful. The technician and his assistant were prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. The cost of the services rendered were extremely reasonable and I felt confident that I was in good hands. I highly recommend this business and commend them for outstanding performance. Job well done!

High’s was recommended to us by our roofing company Seneca Creek. Matt and company arrived right on time and even had little booties to cover their shoes in my house! We walked on the inside and the outside to get a sense of where a leakage might be coming from. The roofers told me to have the chimney examined. High’s listened to EVERYTHING! They were so polite and helpful. They were friendly and as we were walking around the house, I asked them about another brick problem with our front steps. No problem, said Matt. Within 15 min, they had checked out my chimney, and prepared an entire proposal for me, including the additional front steps project. Matt said that his team could get it all done in one day. He answered all my questions. He sat down with me and went through the proposal line by line. We discovered that we graduated from the same high school except that Matt is much younger! Guess that’s why he is on the roof and not me! Matt and I set a date for the work in about 3 weeks. The price is reasonable. But this is just icing on the cake for High’s as they are in the latest Best Picks in 2025 for Montgomery County Home Services Guide. I’m not the only one who likes High’s! So glad I called! Can't say enough about Chris and his professionalism. His friendly demeanor put me at ease. He answered all my questions and thoroughly explained the process. Before he left he made sure I understand everything. Chris gets five stars and an A plus. Would highly recommend!

Highly recommend. The team at High's are truly client focused. I have had many contractors over the years, and am impressed and fortunate I found Chris and the team at Highs. I purchased a home with four damaged \ worn flues. They installed two gas, one wood burning inserts and relined the furnace and water heater flue for a competitive price. They explained what was needed, what was not, and why to help educate on flue relining options and compare estimates. One of the surrounds had to be custom cut for an insert into large stone fireplace. They had the skill, and took the time to ensure the gout line blended. Further, it has been ~6 months since the installation. I called with some concerns\ questions about the flagship use of the powerful wood burning insert. They provided immediate answers by phone and fit me in the schedule within 48 hours. They thoroughly inspected to ensure everything held up through the winter, patently answered questions and demonstrated best practices for lighting fires. So, no pressure\ education sales, service, value and professionalism. Plus Chris and the team are genuinely nice people. Checks all the boxes for me.

UPDATE: Before and after photos posted. They did a great job. Replaced 5 layers of brick on the chimney, replaced brick on shoulder of the chimney, replaced cap and waterproofing on the entire chimney completed. I did see photos from the top I just don’t have them to post. ~ Donna K. Tyrone was absolutely wonderful! As a first time home owner, I don’t know much about anything when it comes to home repairs. He was patient and friendly answering all of my many questions and definitely made me comfortable with the fact that the job will be done professionally and will be done right. When getting ready to leave he noticed the trash had been collected and without me even asking, he went and brought them in for me. (The cans were not behind his vehicle) Thank you Tyrone and I will provide another review once the job is completed. ~Donna K.
