“We had three carpets done with ECC. I felt the level of cleanliness on the carpets was OK—not great, but one of the carpets was ruined from the chemicals and ECC replaced that carpet. That experience was both helpful and frustrating. It took too long to complete the replacement, and I felt like I had to stay on top of it, but every single person we interacted with was professional, pleasant, and helpful. The whole experience was a bit stressful, though I do think the company was accountable and I very much appreciated that.”

We received an email from ECC's contracted master weaver, who explained what was required to prevent further unraveling of the kilim, and the steps to be taken to re-fringe the carpets. The procedures for cleaning the carpets and lilim were also discussed. We were kept apprised of ECC's progress with the job through phone calls and subsequent emails. ECC met the completion date and the cost was approximately half of what other companies had quoted. The re-fringing workmanship was superb, the reinforced backing on the kilim was masterful, and the cleaning job was excellent. You couldn't ask for more.”

The carpets displayed a marked improvement. The carpets are naturally very light in color, so the difference was very impressive. Its problematic when you price a product by room, but then change the parameters to square footage. This resulted in my not being able to have all of the carpets I intended to be cleaned. “Excellent Carpet Cleaning cleaned all of the carpet in our house; family room, stairs, and bedrooms. We also had them put a protective coating on the stairs (like Scotchguard). The positive side is they were responsive and respectful when making and keeping our appointment. The negative side is that our carpets, once dried, did not look as clean as we were hoping, and, there was no follow up from the company to ask if we were satisfied or if there was a problem.”

My wife is the owner of the property, and we rented the property out for two years to a tenant who had two dogs that she kept locked in the basement, where they had routinely used the restroom. The technician that came out was very professional, very good, and very thorough. Ultimately, it didn't work, but he was very up-front in saying, ‘You know, this is the best we can do, but it might not work once it gets through the carpet and into the pad—it may even get into the concrete underneath.’ He also said, before I had their services charged, that there was a very high chance, given the extent of the stains and the damage, that the carpet would have to be replaced. I was very appreciative of that. I chose them partially because they seemed to be good at interacting with me via the scheduling person. It was very positive—I'd give them an A+. It was really, really well done. Everything about the experience was positive. They know what they're doing, they know their business, and everything was up front and very transparent from top to bottom. They were really, really good, and I will definitely use them again.”
