I had a fantastic experience with this roofing and exterior company. Bryan was amazing to work with from start to finish. He was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of my questions throughout the process. The customer service was outstanding, and the quality of the work exceeded my expectations. It’s refreshing to work with a company that truly cares about its customers and takes pride in what they do. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for roofing or exterior services. I will definitely use them again for future projects!

This is the second time I’ve used JLG Builds. The first time, they remodeled my kitchen and upstairs bathroom, and made my screened in back porch into a year round sun room. This time, they replaced my roof, siding, gutters, and front porch posts. I’ve been very happy with the work they did. Some of the things I like include the detailed quote for the work to be done, their responsiveness to questions and resolving any issues, and the overall quality of the work. They give you a fair and competitive estimate, and they listen to you.

If you have a project, you want JLG Builds. We had a kitchen renovation. All you ever hear about kitchen renovations are horror stories. This could not have gone better! Right from the start they understood our budget and what we were going for. They didn't try to oversell us and gave us good advice to make our budget go farther. We were able to to expand our renovation from just the kitchen/dining room and update our main level of the house and totally transformed it. All in budget. We saw the progress being made every day, and everyone on the crew and in the office was pleasure to work with. When we have another project we will be contacting JLG Builds.

Our experience started with clear expectations based on signed contracts, but unfortunately the project did not close out properly and several significant issues remain unresolved. The contractor stated that the siding work was completed correctly, but that does not match what we observed. The GAF WeatherSide Profile Fiber-Cement siding shingles are installed improperly, with multiple deficiencies: no flashing around windows, inconsistent trim application (windows vs. doors), uneven use of J-channel, mismatched trim colors, inconsistent backer strips, missing trim where the siding meets the deck, loose sections due to missing nails and the side door frame is not well supported. These are fundamental installation concerns, not minor cosmetic issues. Equally concerning, no formal inspection checklist was ever completed for either the Sunroom & Deck project or the Interior Work project, despite this being required in the contracts upon substantial completion. The required limited warranty was also never executed. Communication became increasingly difficult as we tried to address these items. While a manufacturer settlement was issued for defective siding materials, disagreements arose about responsibility for correcting the installation and completing the remaining work. Ultimately, the contractor chose not to continue the relationship, leaving multiple outstanding items. We would recommend that future customers ensure inspections, documentation, and warranties are fully completed before making final payments, and pay close attention to installation details throughout the project. But based on our experience, we cannot recommend this contractor.

I contracted with JLG Builds to replace my roof. They offer top-of-the-line roofing that I was looking for. I signed the contract and in no time at all they had the materials and the men out to install my new roof. They had it done in one day. They were meticulous in their clean up work. No nails or staples, underlayment or old roofing laying in my yard. AND, the new roof is beautiful. Thank you, JLG!
