"For months after my bathroom install I have been waiting to send this survey. I have delayed because my bathroom has been squealing like a pig! For the past 3 months or so the same techs have returned to my bathroom over 6 times. The squealing continues with no resolution in sight. Additionally, the toilet will run without a flush at any given notice. In my opinion the products used are trash! I want to have another bathroom remodeled but I dont know if it will be Metropolitan. I am frustrated to say the least."

The designer listened carefully to our needs and wants for the project and was able to turn that into a beautiful design with the function we needed. Quality materials were used throughout and the workmanship is spot on. We love our new bathroom and would call Metropolitan again for future projects."

"The shower is a few inches smaller than the agreed size which is very uncomfortable. The bath tub’s material does not agree with my skin because every time I take a bath, I break out in bumps and itch for hours so at this point I can’t enjoy my tub that I spent thousands of dollars on. "I am unhappy with most of the upfront part of the job. Everything about the work was good, it was just getting started. The salesman came out and did measurements and took pictures. I did not get an estimate while he was here at the house. He told us that we had to go to the showroom. We were just wanting new fixtures and waynescott around the walls. Going to the showroom was a problem because they are only open until 5:00. We had to take a day off from work which was a waste of time. The showroom showed us some waynescott and it was not what was going to be installed. A workperson left it in the showroom. I was at home when the worker came. He had to go to Home Depot for a sheet of waynescott which was a type that we did not see at the showroom. He had to call the office to see what type it was that we saw. He then had to go to Alexandria to purchase the piece of waynescott. He was only here 4 hours to do work. The problem with the fixtures was that they cost $300. I saw the same ones at Lowes for $65 for both. We were changed 500% more than what the items cost. The worker went to Home Depot and picked up $125 material. I was charged $2600 for the installation. This was a gouge for the install. It should not cost this much. I am going to write a letter to Mr. Mackenzie. I would not recommend Metropolitan Bath & Tile to another person. It looks good but it cost way too much."

"Basically, there was a large amount of work that had to be done again. They had to built out a wall and it was improperly built. The second crew continued on even though it was wrong. The third person came in and said that it needed redone. They rapidly came back. We believed the sales pitch when we were told that everyone who worked there had been there for a long time. The people who came the first time were actually leaving the company."
