We went with Wolfer's to replace our AC and Heater in our townhome a year or two back. Prices were reasonable given that was when all the prices were so high for things like AC units—we make a point to not always go with the cheapest when it's something we're going to rely on for a long time, and Wolfer's is the type of place who's going to get it done right and take good care of you in the process. They pitched us a newer service which was where they come out a few times a year and do preventative maintenance to keep things running smoothly and take care of your setup, I figured we would give it a go so we signed up. That service has been so good, but this last visit on Tuesday made me want to post about it. So their tech James M. came out to do an AC and heater checkup, and found that at some point in the last 6 months (since their last checkup) my heater exhaust ducting had slipped off the outlet that goes through my roof, meaning there's been carbon monoxide pumping into my attic! I have 2 kids under 5, a spouse, and 3 cats here, and that's a clear danger to everybody. Now, my heater room doesn't have a proper access to the attic space, it has kind of a janky hole that you sort of slither through to get up there. James is the kind of guy who has a family too and wants to take good care of people, so he slithered up there, saw that, and fixed it as part of the routine service which didn't cost additional over the annual fee for the service. He also found two wires that had broken shielding and were shorting to ground, was blackened and definitely impacting function, and fixed that too, nice and tidy. Can't recommend the company and the annual care service enough—I basically never slither up into my attic so there's no telling how long that would have been spraying carbon monoxide into my attic and leaking into my house before I found it. And James was a total rockstar, appreciate you man! It's rare to find companies these days that take good care of people, but they're out there!

Wolfer’s has to be #1 in Portland! We had a new HVAC put in and a new water heater. Everyone of these service members showed exceptional commitment to their craft, courtesy, HARD WORK, expertise, experience and a knowledge! The HVAC technicians Manuel G and Antonio G were top notch! Those guys are like surgeons! 10/10! The Electricians Steve R and Ryan V I barely have words for! The best I can say is above and beyond! I’d hire those electricians in a heartbeat! 10/10! The water heater guy was great too, so fast and efficient I barely saw him and his trainee! It was a long day but these guys did it in 1 and that’s all that matters! Wow! A+ 10/10… this crew deserves a bonus! Hope to see some of them in the future! (Side note: David (sales) and Miguel (repair tech) were just as good and top notch! And maybe a tiny bit “funner” to hang with and showed us ALL the things that were missed by past companies! I know more from a hour of talking with them about HVAC than I have in 40 years!)

We had our routine AC service completed today, and I just wanted to say what a great experience we had. Our technician was very polite, professional, informative, and helpful throughout the entire visit. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered our questions, and did a very thorough job. He even cleaned up our outdoor AC unit, and it honestly looks fantastic now. He also took time to share information with us about a newer air filtration system that could help our family members with allergies breathe a little easier and help keep the air cleaner in our home. We’re definitely looking forward to considering that option in the future. Excellent service all around, and we really appreciated the care and attention to detail!

Sales and installation were all top notch! Pricing was competitive and not the lowest bid, but we used Wolfer’s for their outstanding reputation. Replaced entire HVAC in one day, everything was done perfectly. This was a big investment with a lot of work involved, and our experience reinforced that we hired the right company to do it.

TJ came to my house and did a great job. After I had a different company Come out and didn’t fix the issue. TJ resolved the issue like a real professional. I was absolutely happy with all the work he did on my AC unit. It only took him less than an hour to find the issue. TJ made the whole process seem easy and smooth. Honestly, one of the best experiences I’ve had I will be more than happy to recommend TJ to any family member or friend. TJ did an absolutely amazing job couldn’t be any happier he took care of my issue.
