Our A/C went out and we needed a new company. This service came highly recommended by the Grok app which compared all the categories for us. Our tech, Tom, came out within hours. He was fantastic. My A/C skillset is on par with about a five year old, and explained exactly what he was doing and why and spoke with my husband via phone also. We feel very confident in the service provided and set up an annual plan. That’s included in the cost of repair I selected for this visit. Good people.

The technicians (Casmore and Narton) arrived early within the window time I was given. Both of them were very professional, caring of my property, and explained everything I needed to know about the new AC unit. The installation was done and they left everything clean. I was able to ask questions and got all the answers I needed. I was very happy with the overall service.

Hello, I am so Happy with Cool Today! I called them because I had a water leak in my home, and Angela made me an appointment for the same day. She is a wonderful, helpful and very friendly person. The Plumber was Robert, and he was very professional and friendly, and he found my water leak for me. He is a great plumber, and he showed me what the problem was. I learned a lot from my appointment because he showed me step by step what the problem was and how the water leak was fixed. I would highly recommend Cool Today for your Plumbing problems. They are very good and have very knowledgeable and well trained staff in all their departments. Having a house that has gotten older, has required some home repairs and they were the best in plumbing, electrical and Air conditioning installation for me! Thank you Cool Today for all you do! Thank you Angela for making my appointments. I will recommend Cool Today to all my family and friends, and to anyone needing great quality service for their home repairs.

This review is about the management, not the field guys. I don’t like posting negative reviews. I try to give the company ample time to do the right thing. After several years, I can post this review with confidence based off of my experiences. Our sales rep was a solid guy (he left the company. Shocker). We purchased an AC unit (about 20k ish). When they installed the unit, they did not have a shop vac, so they used my personal vacuum cleaner., The drywall and concrete dust destroyed my vacuum. No big deal, right? Wrong. I asked them to please replace it, they made such a big ordeal out of it. I had to send videos and pictures and a tech had to come out for a service call to my house, (which I’m sure they had to pay him for), to verify if I was telling the truth or not. Wow. Finally, they agreed to replace it. I asked if they could please just pay me for it because I wanted to upgrade and I’ll pay the difference. They said no. They “had” to replace with the same unit. Spoiler, it wasn’t the same unit. Whatever. You showed me. What bothered me the most is that they made the employee pay for it. To me that is disgraceful. This company has so much money and you’re going to make a low wage worker pay for it. That showed me a lot. The AC purchase came with duct cleaning. My daughter’s room had been smelling bad so I asked them to please check it out while cleaning. They completely missed the fact that her return vent is separate and runs under my foundation and the vents had been covered by flooring so rats were living in it. The smell was urine and faces. How do you miss that if you’re cleaning all the ductwork? Another tech and I figured it out about a year later and I had to now get them to close it off. Unfortunately, we didn’t have a correct set up to run this AC effectively so my bills went from 450$ to about $900-$1000. Finally, after about 10 techs had been out and I had called so many times, he discovers that the unit has not been operating correctly and the amperage is more than double bc it’s working overtime. Months and months go by I finally get them to come out and add more return vents to my home so it can work a little better. This process was a nightmare. So many different guys came out with no idea what the situation was and no solutions. They would do nothing and say they had to call their boss. “Boss” finally gets a pseudo design set up bc I suggest where we can put returns. This was over a year ago now. There has been a huge hole in my mom’s closet going into the garage bc they all haven’t fixed the drywall. I’ve called, service techs have submitted it with photos. I’ve been told they will fix it and they don’t know why it’s been this long. Still nothing. My uv light went out after about a year and a half and it’s not the bulb it’s the actual inverter. But, guess what? Oh yeah, that’s not warrantied so I have to pay $1000 for a new unit and that’s with their “discount” bc I have their service membership I pay each month trying to cya so they don’t come back later and tell me my warranty is void bc I didn’t maintain it with them. Just Ridiculous. Especially bc I can prove, and they have records, that my unit was running incorrectly and that affected the electrical so it could have stressed the inverter. Nope. But, lucky me, I can upgrade to a new unit with a warranty bc the unit they used was the lowest level with no warranty. No shock there. Moral of the story is, give your 20-22k to someone else. If I could go back I would absolutely have gone with another company. They never even offered to help pay for the ridiculous electric bills that were a result of their poor install. We were out thousands of dollars bc of their negligence for over a year. My house was not even cooling bc it couldn’t function and was just throwing error codes. Unless you want to call and basically force a company to do the right thing for months to years, don’t use cool today. If you enjoy high cortisol and paying 20k for $1000 electric bills, high stress levels and holes in your floor then they’re the company for you.

There are business relationships that transcend cash. Many years ago, I had CoolToday come by and do some work for my new pool deck and install a wired internet system in my house. They did such a great job, I have hired them for other small projects. Now, after a fire gutted my house, I have turned to the people I have come to trust! When you hire them, please understand that you are not just hiring an electrical or HVAC team. You are hiring a family of highly skilled and professional technicians.
