Based on recent service call and quote for entire tankless system I give NH Ross a solid 5 rating. Both the technician, John, and sales rep., Jose were courteous, knowledgeable and very professional. Our cast iron boiler did the job for the last 23 years, however, recently the unit was costing us money so with the guidance of John @ Jose and some research we opted to go with the tankless system. This is an investment so prepare to spend some bucks but based on everything I was told these systems are worth the outlay. Installation is tomorrow so hopefully I will add additional positive comments. 🤞🙏 So installation is complete, took entire day Monday then another few hours on Tuesday. Lead tech Ty is fantastic, awesome professional. Unfortunately he was accompanied by inferior help yet was able to provide a clean installation time will tell if the system lives up to expectations. Now on the sales side, honestly thought I was buying a car not a heating system. Typical sales man comes in and if the sale isn’t instantaneous the old let me call the manager trick. After a brief conversation about my “needs” manager put is on hold and when he got back on $5k was cut off the price IF, cash deal, IF the installation was Monday, please note this was Saturday when we got the quote. Amazing how the manager was available on a Saturday but not on Monday when I called to ask a question about a water softening system, still have not received a call back but I’m not holding my breadth not to I care to get a call back. My advice to anyone dealing with their sales team, do your homework and DON’T let them pressure you for a fast decision. So, Ty the tech gets 5 stars, sales ah!

Daniel was the first member of NH Ross to come repair my HVAC system after the AC stopped working over the summer and was flooding the utility closet with water. He did not rush, walked me through each problem and educated me, was professional and polite - great experience! I’ve had such horror stories with contractors on the past and I now feel comfortable knowing I have NH Ross to rely on each month. Beyond that, I then had Eli and James come for my annual free time up of my heater. Having moved in only a few months ago, I was totally unaware of the lack of upkeep from the previous owners. Eli and James diagnosed everything, explained the problems thoroughly in layman’s terms, went above and beyond to fix ancillary defects, and provided a full repair within under one hour! This company is fantastic, I highly recommend them to anyone. Communication and scheduling with the office is a breeze. I’ve had the worst experiences with techs and NH Ross has been a rock star! *********** Since I am unable to leave more than one review, I’ve edited this one to reflect my recent experience with their plumbing technicians. I had an emergency and Todd was able to fix everything quickly, efficiently, and explained everything to me in terms that were easy to understand. The price was very affordable and he was great to work with. He also gave me great advice on how to avoid future problems. Mohammed just completed my annual plumbing tune up and went above and beyond! He took his time and walked me through everything. Pleasant demeanor, professional, and worked so hard! Every experience so far has been terrific! Thank you! *********** Once again this company has done a phenomenal job! This is the second time Rich has come to fix plumbing issues in my home and like everyone else he was quick, efficient, friendly, and very professional. I appreciate him taking the time to check extra things and explain everything to me. Thanks again!

Ridiculous $1,000 Quote, Scare Tactics, and Hidden Fees I called NH Ross to look at a simple dripping bathtub tap. Their diagnostic fee is $80 (which is only credited if you agree to work on the spot). The technician, Patrick, spent an hour at my home trying to upsell me using scare tactics and blatant misrepresentations. Without even opening the tap to diagnose the issue, he visually looked at it and quoted $1,000 for a simple cartridge replacement—a 15-minute job. He claimed he needed to shut off the water at the street because our main inside valve was rusted. The rusted valve he pointed out belongs to SCWA (the water authority), which plumbers aren't even authorized to touch. Our property's main shut-off valve was completely fine, but he didn't even check or mention it. He then tried to scare us into replacing pipes on SCWA's side of the line. When I questioned the outrageous $1,000 price tag, he claimed the high fee was because they offer "service on the spot." However, in the very next breath, he admitted he didn't have the part and would have to order it and return in 2 weeks. Charging a $1,000 premium for "immediate service" when you can't even perform the repair for two weeks is completely absurd. When I mentioned that other local quotes for this repair cap out around $300, he called his manager and "discounted" the price to a still-insane $935. I ultimately paid the $80 visit fee just to get him out of my house. On top of that, they tacked on taxes and a credit card convenience fee, bringing the final total to nearly $100 for absolutely zero work, zero real diagnostic effort, and a waste of my time. Take your business elsewhere—this company takes advantage of customers with inflated pricing, false claims, and high-pressure sales tactics.

I had an excellent experience with Ross. The representative who took my phone call was extremely pleasant and accommodating. I requested a morning appt for the next day and sure enough, the technician came a little after nine. They even sent me text and picture of Paul when he was on his way. Paul was amazing - friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Fixed my dimmer switch in a snap. Moving forward I will use Ross for all my electrical and plumbing needs.

Mike was absolutely amazing! From start to finish, he was professional, friendly, attentive, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. His customer service was outstanding, and you can tell he truly cares about the people he helps. He was knowledgeable, patient, and made everything easy and stress-free. It’s rare to come across someone who leaves such a positive impression, but Mike definitely did. He is a huge asset to the team and absolutely deserves recognition for the level of service he provides. 10/10 experience thank you, Mike!
