Hands down the best company in the area. reliable, honest, and their techs are very knowledgeable and friendly. Jacob performed my furnace maintenance and was able to answer all of my questions so we can feel confident about our heating system this winter and beyond! highly recommend!

I ended up with Shavitz, because I followed my HVAC Senior tech, Greg, there. I am giving five stars because I am happy with Greg and my service, but I was tempted to give four stars for pricing. When my AC went out, I was pleased with how promptly they were able to finagle the schedule for Greg to assess my issue. The diagnosis was a failed capacitor, which is a very inexpensive and easily installed part - under $40 and usually cheaper than that. Between their diagnostic fee ($179) and the price to install, my invoice totaled $850. That isn’t just a bit overpriced, that is extremely overpriced. I called around to a couple of places after, and most rates were somewhere around $400-$550. A three hundred dollar price difference is pretty crazy. Greg truly is the BEST HVAC tech I have ever had in my time of home-ownership (honest, skilled, friendly, not salesy), and I was desperate to get my AC up and running immediately since I am going out of town; thus, I agreed to Shavitz pricing. I am not a cheap-skate, I am always happy to pay what something is worth, but this pricing for this specific service is highway robbery and pretty disappointing. I don’t know what I will do moving forward in terms of using Shavitz, but I thought it was important to provide this information so people aren’t shocked by their pricing in desperate times.

This was initially a presumed thermostat repair. After a thorough inspection, we found that a heater repair done a couple yrs ago by someone else was not done properly. The problem was clearly explained and shown to me. Niall was very pleasant and very knowledgeable and clear with his explanations. Final repair plan to be determined. I am very satisfied with the service I received and would definitely recommend Shavitz to anyone needing HVAC service.

Fernando did a great job and providing a detailed quote that covered all the needs for our house. He took the time to do the manual calculation for what our AC needed to be able to do and a system that will work for us. A big deciding factor for us was they are local and will be around to help if something goes wrong. The installers were here from 8-5:30pm and were clean, efficient and didn't leave any mess for us to deal with after.

We had our whole HVAC system replaced. Fernando, the PM, did a great job of explaining all the options and was very straightforward and easy to work with. We decided to proceed and the whole team was so great - including the installers - Linas, David, and Raphael. It was not an easy job- and they worked together, did the work, and finished early. They are all so nice and true professionals. Highly recommend. Thank you!
