I had an old furnace ready to break. Matt B came over and discussed the situation with me and answered all of my questions. He a lot of time to make sure I understood all the options I had. I decided the best option would be to replace the furnace. It had already broke down unexpectedly in the cold prior to the most recent 2 foot snow storm and I am supposed to leave for a ski trip in 2 days during another artic blast and possible snow storm. Matt was able to schedule delivery and installation for the next day. Andres and Greg came over in crappy roads and installed my furnace in one day. I am so thankful for the help cooperation between everyone to help out stay warm and avoid frozen pipes. Highly recommend!

The Akian team agreed to help me diagnose and fix my 2 unit HVAC system, we purchased our home newly renovated in 2024, and experienced recurrent problems with the HVAC system that the original installer said he could fix, but after 1.5 years of intermittently coming by to attempt a new 'fix' he stopped responding. It was very difficult to find another company to help me with our system as it was still under warranty and installed by someone else, but Akian agreed and Matt diagnosed the main problem almost immediately as he could tell by the sound that there was water in the inducer motor. Antonio came next to do a more thorough analysis and identified what was installed improperly and some incorrect wiring, they were able to adjust the installation and fix all of the problems I was experiencing, and now the system is finally running perfectly with no issues. Very glad to have found them and have Antonio and the rest of the team available to maintain our systems and repair any issues in the future, Antonio clearly has a wealth of experience and really knows what he's doing.

Akian just replaced all of our 20-year-old heating and cooling systems, a task that required the installation of two high-efficiency heat pumps, plus air handlers, for heating and cooling; a 2-ton system, with air handler, for cooling only; and a 1-ton mini-split heating and cooling system for a dedicated basement space. The systems were also fitted with new humidifiers, and our upstairs ducting was reconfigured to add an extra zone. In all, it was an extensive amount of work that was performed flawlessly by Akian over seven consecutive workdays. After receiving several quotes, we felt the most comfortable with Matt from Akian sales. The pricing was fair, and he was the most knowledgeable salesperson who provided a quote for the work. The installation team consisted of Zach, Tony, Brendan, and Chris. The team thoughtfully called every morning with their planned arrival time and were professional, courteous, and a pleasure to have onsite each day. The quality of work was exceptional; modern equipment requires 8-core thermostat wires, and Chris did an excellent job threading the wires through the walls of a 1930s-era house. Zach, Tony, and Brendan took great care in removing the existing equipment and fitting the new units, four inside and four outside. They put down and took up drop cloths each day and were very careful to maintain clean areas throughout the project. Working with Akian was a pleasure, and we are very happy with the new heating and cooling systems. I highly recommend the company.

James G was great! I had an issue with my mini split and my garbage disposal and he was able to take care of both. James G did a great job of explaining the work needed, as well as showed me photos. He was very knowledgeful, neat, and with a nice attention to detail. I highly recommend.

I contacted Akian Plumbing upon the recommendation of a friend who was quite happy with Akian's services in the installation of central air condition in her home. I had spoken with numerous contractors regarding the replacement of my thirteen year old system which no longer functioned and could not be repaired. I decided to go with Akian. First, Matt B., came and assessed the needs of my home. He was very congenial (even gave me some tips on some problem spots in my home), knowledgeable and professional. He actually listened to our concerns and responded back with details and specifics. My first installation date had to be delayed four days due to technician illness. On the date of installation(HOT AND HUMID), two trucks arrived with two technicians and promptly the crew started to work. Antonio, the lead installer, was absolutely phenomenal and knew exactly what he needed to do...very focused! Coverings were placed strategically on the floors, furniture moved so as not to get damaged. Made sure anything that could possibly be damaged was protected. Next, the two techs went up to the attic where the handler is located. They worked non-stop in sweltering heat...they managed to dismantle and remove the old huge handler and install the new handler( Up and down two flights of stairs many times with equipment and ac parts into the attic) Antonio kept us informed as to the different steps taken and stages of the dismantling of the old system and setting up of new system including the new compressor outside. Over nine hours of work, the techs, especially Antonio, the lead tech, focused on the job with arduous work and focus. Again at the end of the job, everything was put into place and the entire area immaculate. Antonio went over the operation of the system, thermostat, etc., and even went as far as to make a video with instructions which is a big help for us. Antonio , absolutely top notch professional! , We are very pleased with Akian Plumbing...I am just waiting a response back from Akian on a question on a separate matter. In the meantime, we highly recommend Akian!
