We had an excellent experience working with this flooring team on a project covering about 3,000 sq ft of our home—roughly 2,000 sq ft of hardwood and 1,000 sq ft of LVP with stairs and a custom handrail with balusters. They sanded and stained the hardwood to a darker finish, and took the time to do careful touch-ups to ensure the color and finish were consistent throughout. The attention to detail really showed. In the basement, they re-leveled the floor before installing the LVP, which gave us a lot of confidence that the job was being done the right way, not just the fast way. They also replaced the stairs and installed a new handrail with specific balusters, and the craftsmanship there was excellent. The crew was focused, efficient, and highly detail-oriented, and communication throughout the project was outstanding. Albert was fantastic, he coordinated everything smoothly, was very responsive, and handled change requests without issue. The project was completed on time, at a fair price, and from start to finish I felt confident in the team’s ability to deliver high-quality work. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for professional, reliable flooring work.

We had an excellent experience from start to finish working with Custom Floor & Design. We received estimates from multiple flooring companies, and no one could beat their price. Beyond that, the entire process was seamless. Albert, who provided our estimate, was fantastic. His communication was clear, prompt, and consistent. He followed up throughout the project and was always available whenever there was something to discuss, which made the whole experience stress-free. Alex and his installation team were equally impressive. They arrived on time, worked incredibly hard, and their craftsmanship was meticulous. The finished floors look outstanding, and they made sure everything was thoroughly cleaned before leaving. The team was constantly working and completed the project within the promised timeframe. Like many homeowners who talk endlessly about starting a major house project (you know, that guy in the tv commercial) but spend months researching every possible option, I took my time before finally moving forward with hardwood flooring — and I could not be more satisfied with choosing Custom Floor & Design in Chantilly. It turned out to be an outstanding decision. Seven months ago, Albert, the company’s sales representative, visited my home and conducted one of the most thorough and efficient consultations I’ve experienced. He walked me through the full range of hardwood flooring options, explained everything clearly, and provided a detailed estimate. He also encouraged me to visit their showroom — advice that proved invaluable. Seeing the flooring samples installed on the floor made a significant difference in my decision-making. I visited the showroom multiple times (at least four), sometimes with family members. Whenever Albert was available, he patiently answered my growing list of questions and helped me better understand everything from wood grades and finishes to durability and maintenance. Over time, I visited several other flooring businesses in the area, and — except for one that came in a close second — none matched the professionalism, knowledge, and customer care I consistently experienced at Custom Floor and Design. After extensive research, I narrowed my choice to two brands and ultimately selected the one that best met my criteria for color, grade, finish, and upkeep. When I returned to the showroom months later, Albert happened to be there and helped finalize the next steps. Within two weeks, the hardwood flooring was delivered to my home, and after about six days of acclimation, installation began. The three installers were true professionals — punctual, courteous, and incredibly hardworking. They worked nearly nonstop from morning to evening for two full days and wrapped up on the third day. Their craftsmanship was excellent. They carefully protected and moved furniture and returned everything to its proper place. While the initial post-installation cleanup was what you might expect from a contractor, Albert had already arranged for a professional cleaning service to follow. This turned out to be a lifesaver. We had no idea how much fine wood dust such a project generates — it gets everywhere. The cleaning was meticulous and left the house spotless. From consultation and product selection to installation and final cleanup, every aspect of the experience was top notch. We absolutely love our new hardwood floors. I recently worked with Albert Kim and his team on a flooring project, replacing carpet and hardwood floors with LVP. The entire experience exceeded my expectations. Albert was fantastic to work with — patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. He answered all of my questions without ever trying to oversell anything, which I really appreciated. The installation team was equally impressive. They worked efficiently and finished the project ahead of schedule, completing everything in just two days. They went above and beyond by fixing several existing issues, including problems with my hardwood floors and leveling. Their attention to detail and craftsmanship really showed. I had my lower floor changed by the this company. They did an excellent job, so I did work with them again to change one of the bathroom floor and the stare case. Again, I was happy with the result. Quick and excellent job. I knew I will get a great quality work for a good price. I was happy as the first time. I highly recommend them if you want to have a great job, quality workmanship for a good price. Friendly, very polite, very knowledgeable and helpful customer service and installing crew. I highly recommend them. You will not be disapointed :)
