“I found Allied on the internet and after talking with someone we decided to go with them. The process was painless. They communicated with us every step of the way. We plan to go with Allied again on our next big home improvement project.”
“The workers from Allied Siding & Windows were prompt and cleaned up after themselves. They left the job looking better than when they found it. They were easy to work with.”
“My business experience was fine. Their loyalty to their word in regards to customer referral compensation is flawed with deceit. My neighbor referred me to Allied and I was told that he would receive a $100.00 referral and that never happened.”

“They have a good sales engagement but when it comes to the installation and the warranty they do not follow up with issues that arise.”
“They never came back to finish the job.”

“We were very happy with the installation and the crew. We were very disappointed with the communication with the central office. We had one window when they installed that was crack. The frame to one was damaged as well. Once these were reordered and it took months to get the installed. There was no communication on how long this would take. My wife called multiple times a day trying to reach someone in the office and no one would answer the phone.”
“The company has not finished the project they started last year. The installers broke my 4,000 dollar door and they have not answered any of my phone calls.”
“Jay the Sales guy was very good. Anthony and crew were top notch. The back office staff was very bad.”

“They did a good job on the project but the organization of the company is not good.”

“The guys that came out to do the work did a fine job on the siding. They didn't put the door in correctly and there was a leak because of that.”
“I've been trying to get someone to come out but I never get a response.”
“We signed our contract in September, and what was delivered to us were the wrong windows. We are still waiting for them to fix the problem.”

“This company is a scam artist. They are high priced, do not follow through, and one of the worst companies I have ever had to work with. Mainly because of John G Culver, the Allied Director of Sales. I hope he does not work there anymore, but if he does, this is where most of this problem is stemming from. You guys had a friendly person come out to give me a bid and I accepted the bid and then he called me back and said they could not do work for me. I got the new windows put in, and they look great from another company.”
“I was very pleased with Allied's service from beginning to end.”

“It was perfect, but the clean up was a big problem and there was paint all over. They didn't prepare when they put kiln on. They sprayed kiln all over the windows where the siding was. Other than that okay. They didn't cover all of the window and if the wind blows, it would get all over the windows.”

“While the estimate for my project wasn't the lowest, it was the Allied lifetime warranty and the James Hardie warranty that swayed my decision. Jay Weda did a great job answering questions and understanding what I was wanting to do.”

“Well the thing was when we made the contract and then we had the hurricane I didn't want to bother anyone with my job. It was just a small job and I waited until they reached back out to me.. So many people needed it more than me. We also had windows done with allied already so I trusted their company.”
“They came out, did all the installation as expected, and left everything as it was before. It was what we'd hoped for. They did both siding and window replacement. I'd give them an A.”
“The installers were very friendly. They were nice people. They left the area clean when they left. I feel like the overall quality of the work is—it's expensive, but it was well worth it. They replaced all the windows in my house. I'd give them an A. The only thing is, I would like for them to have a check back with me to see if everything was good after they installed the windows, but I never got a call back. It would be nice if they contacted customers afterward.”
“I liked the quality of the work, the quality of the product, and the speed in which they did it. They did doors, siding, and windows. I had no complaints, and I would recommend them.”
“It was an excellent experience. They came, they did the job fast and clean—well-done, and I was very satisfied. They replaced all the windows. They're A+.”
“They were just great all around, from sales all the way to installation and clean-up. I haven't had any issues with them. They installed ten windows in my house. I'd give them an A+.”
“They were very quick and thorough. They were doing window replacements. I'd give them an A+.”
“The entire work was exceptional. They did a window, siding, and roof on my house in Dickinson, and then they did a roof and siding here in Tech City. They did A+ work.”
“I liked the overall product. They did windows. I'd give them an A-.”
“They did what they said they were going to do. They did some windows for me. They're B+. It wasn't an A+. It was just a good job.”
“They're the ones that put in our windows on our back porch. The windows are very good. We're very happy with the way they turned out. I'd give them an A.”
“I had no problems whatsoever. They've done siding in the past, and then they've done my windows. They've also done my front door. I'd grade them A+.”
“They could have been a little more communicative, back and forth. They did siding and windows for me. I'd probably give them a B. The quality of the work came out well at the end.”
“The representative was very easy to work with. The crew, overall, was very conscientious. They did a good job. The only thing that was a little bit amiss was the final caulking they did around the windows—I got the impression they were in a hurry to leave, and I think that could have been done a little better—but not bad enough that I contacted them, and said, 'Hey let's redo this.' I'd say overall, on a scale of one to ten, I'm an eight. I'd give them an A.”
“I was pretty ignorant of the process, and after they left, I had to repaint the siding around my windows. My neighbors were all saying I was stupid, because that should have been part of their job. I told them it was fine, but I didn't know. They did windows, but the frames around the windows on the outside were all messed up; I had to repaint them. They didn't leave it perfect. They didn't finish everything. I was too dumb to know that they should have completed the whole job. They just put the windows in, and whatever they messed up, they left messed up. I'd give them a B-.”
“They did a couple of window replacements for me. I'd give them an A. I had a slight issue with their customer service at first.”
“They did a couple of things that they shouldn't have done, and then they had to come back out and fix some problems that they created. They did window replacement. I'd give them a B.”
“It was a good experience. I'd done business with them before. This wasn't the first time, so it was a repeat. They did siding, windows, and also a roof. I'd give them an A.”
“It was great. They had good prices. They were quick, they cleaned up, and They were courteous. They did siding and windows. We haven't had any problems. They're A+.”
“They did what they said they were going to do. They did window replacement. I had no complaints with them.”
“We had a very good experience, twice. They got in there, got the job done, and got me a good price. The first time I did windows, and I also did siding. Then the second time I just did French doors. I'd give them an A.”
“I liked the salesperson—his presentation and ability to detail the product, and what the difference is. The installers pretty much cleaned up after themselves. They knew what they were doing, and I haven't had any issues—no worries. They did window replacement. I'd grade them A+.”
“When they started the job, they stuck with it. They met their commitments on timing; when they said they'd be here, they were here, and they left the place pretty clean. They did windows for me. I'd give them an A.”
“The crew was friendly. They provided siding and windows for me. I would give them an A-. I'm still cleaning up some of their stuff. The weather's been bad, but they used my hoses to wash off their paint and cleaning apparatuses, and now I have to clean the hoses.”
“The speed at which they got everything done was great. The initial look was great. We feel like there are some issues with the installation. They've sworn up and down that it has nothing to do with them, and it's not their problem. They did window replacement. I'd give them a B.”
“I have some concerns that we're still dealing with on the issue. The problem seems to be a lack of communication, and we're disappointed. They did siding and windows for us. I'd give them a C. It's a little early—we had them come out yesterday to put some panels back down. It seems OK. Granted, it's early. The windows are fantastic, and the siding we've had a couple pieces—it's OK. Communication has been a disappointment for me. We thought the sales guy did a fantastic job. He's been in constant communication with us. Once we started getting him back involved after the sale, he's been good. No question that they're nice people, but we're disappointed with their communication.”
“They had to come out and reinstall one of the window panes because it had leaks. The guys that came out and reinstalled it, didn't clean the windows. They're way up high, and they have fingerprints all over them. I can't get up there and clean them. They did siding too. I'd give them a C grade.”
“On several occasions, we had to correct their work. They were sloppy and unresponsive. They did so many things wrong that it took months on end to get them to finish the job. They lied on the report that goes back to their offices—the one that says, 'How was their work done?' and 'What would you rate them?'. They filled it out themselves and then signed my husband's name on it. They put the wrong color on the house and then blamed it on us. It was just overall horrible. I'd give them a D.”
“We had some installation issues with siding, and that was probably the first time we used them. Then we had some incorrect windows ordered, and then very poor installation of the windows when they finally came in with the second time we worked with them. They get a C.”
“They replaced about 10-12 windows for me. The job went quickly. The guys knew what they were doing. They cleaned up after themselves. I had one or two issues after they were gone; they came in and fixed it up. I'd give them an A.”
“They did a great job. They did new windows and they did new siding. They were just quick, thorough, and kept everything clean. I'd give them the highest grade—A+.”
“They did some work for us. They put in windows for me—whole house—and they did some Hardie plank. I thought they were very professional. They got the job done quickly and cleaned up well. Very nice, kind people to work with. They were fine. I trusted the workers. It could have been different. I'd give them an A.”
“They did window replacement for me. They're dependable. The customer service was fine. They get an A.”
“We had a great experience. A lot of those big window companies will come in and give you a sales pitch, and your husband has to be home. They want two hours of your time. We went to use one and—first of all, I'm not spending $30,000 on a window, but also—we just needed 8 windows. We weren't super worried about the argon caught between the windowpanes. It was more, 'Is this going to hold up?'; 'Is this the right window for us?', in terms of wear-ability and price. Greg Fisher got it. He was like, 'I can give you the speech, or I can just tell you that these are the options', and that's what we did. I'd give them an A.”
“They put in 27 double-pane windows for me. They were straight to the point. When the subcontractor/installer came by, he had up-to-date, new equipment, showed up when he said he was going to show up, and had good workmanship. I'd give them an A.”
“I had a positive experience on the windows, but not on the roof. They did windows and roofing for me. I've got roof curling now, and they won't come look at it. They charged me to come and—there was a loose shingle after they finished everything that didn't show up for a month or two—they charged me to come and hammer that back on. They could have done a much better job. The service in dealing with the roofing was—just make sure every little detail is in writing, and even then, you'll have to put up a fight. The subcontractor they got to put in the window was positive. It wasn't even that—they were very nice. They've done a good job. The windows held up through Harvey. I didn't have to pick up too many nails. I'd give them a C overall. We're still dealing with the roof.”
“It wasn't a totally positive experience. They were doing two or three different projects, and they did the siding project, but I had to have them come back and fix some things that the guys missed. They did the windows, and the windows were great—no problem—but then they were supposed to change out a patio door for me, and they finally came, but the door wasn't fixed; they wouldn't come back to fix it. I thought they were very professional and up-front with the letters and information they gave. The supervisor, though, never came by and checked the job. He left it totally up to the subcontractor they had, which I was a little concerned about, because if I was putting my name on it, I would want to actually come out and check the job. The different crews that came, some of them were good, and some were not so good. I would say they're mediocre. I'm happy with the windows, and I'm happy with most of the siding, but I'm not happy they didn't finish the job.”
“The first installer that I had, I was not very satisfied with, and the second installer was very good. They were installing windows for me. He absolutely knew what he was doing. He was clean and picked up after himself. The other installer didn't know what he was doing. He was messy, totally unprepared, and it took him an extraordinary amount of time to figure out what to do and how to do it. I'd give them a C overall. The customer service was very good.”
“I am a perfectionist. My dad was a carpenter contractor. He built houses. I am 56 years old and when I was in third grade, I was helping him build his house. He specialized in trim work, cabinetry, and finishing work. This takes a lot of attention to detail. The way he trained me, set me up for lots of good things; however, I see lots of slight imperfections that most people would not see. I am picky. I know how stuff should be done. The work that the guys came in and did for me was for the most part good. It looks fine. There is nothing majorly or structurally wrong. What I saw here with the installation of my siding, was not guild. It was not specialized and work of a craftsman. It was production work. There are some place where Arturo and his crew did things differently than what should be. Arturo was good at addressing and correcting what I pointed out though. The crew just did not have the time to do what I would have done. I contemplated along time before do this job thinking that I might be able to do it myself. I spoke with several people and decided that I could not do it myself. I did not have the time. I knew that I had to hire someone. I am glad I did hire Allied Siding & Windows. For the most part they did a good job. There are a few areas that if I had known they were going to do it that way, I would have told them before they started that you are not doing it that way. Here is the way I want it; the right way. One area is the inside corners on the entry way. We have a recessed entry way. It sits back about six to eight feet from the main front of the house. The inside corners according to Hardie secs you put a piece of 1 by 2 back in the corner and but-tuck the siding into the 1 by 2. The siding terminates against the board and put it directly into the corner. The team here ran the siding into the corner and put a 1 by 2 piece trim over it. It was only caulked in by my insistence. Also on the white board that goes up the sides of the gables, the 1 by 2's here instead of being put directly on to the OSB which is underneath the siding, the crew put the siding up first and ran it all the way up against the soffits and then put the 1 by 2 trim over that. I called Hardie technical department about this situation. Is this o.k. is what I asked them. Are you in TX? I told him yes. Why? Throughout the country, except for two places, TX. and GA. this would not be allowed. This is not preferred. If I had know these two things going into the job, I would have demanded the crew do it the Hardie preferred way rather than the excepted manner. When you look at the work, you would say that looks nice; however, then I point out the areas and oh yeah! This looks out of place. It is not a bad job. It looks good. People see it and say it looks a lot better than it did. The guys did a good job. Doing the job the way they did allows them to do the jobs faster, and the way they did it is accepted by Hardie. It is not want I would call guild quality, and it was not what I was lead to believe that I was getting from the sales team at Allied. ”
