Further miscommunication on when the job would be done next day, I ended up leaving when told they would be here “in half an hour “ and two hours later not here. Unacceptable.”

“This company was different than any of the remodeling contractors I’ve used over the last 35 years. They had a plan that was ready to handle any problem. Communication was there and complete professionalism at all times. Money was reimbursed if less material was used. I had 4 projects to be done and no problems. “Overall highly recommended company and work crews!! The siding material in my research is second to none. The built in insulation of the pvc siding is structurally better than standard siding and aesthetically beautiful. Roofing was standard asphalt but improved vent caps etc are great additions. Windows are pella windows with amazing energy efficiency but nothing special when it comes to the vinyl material itself. My houses transformation from a red house to regatta blue is amazing!”

“Helpful and attentive, but also somewhat pushy about making fast decisions concerning longterm, expensive changes for our home. We are unlikely to use Power Home again for future door replacements as I would have preferred a wider design selection and in-person material samples. However, I don't doubt that they hold themselves to a high standard (as they should considering their pricing), and so we may consider them for more energy-specific, non-aesthetic things such as attic insulation, which is an essential but often overlooked part of building maintenance. Overall, I would consider the level of readiness and prior knowledge of a consumer before recommending Power Home, and be sure to tell the potential customer to do their due diligence prior to meeting with a member of Power's sales team.”

“The crews worked quickly and looks good. I had siding, windows and trim and gutters done. There were a couple of challenges for the crews being a 90 yr old house but they succeeded. Very good, thank you.”

“If my friends could just get the best possible quote straight up and schedule? Sure, but I only have a couple friends with houses and budgets for high quality improvements like this and none for the patience of a salesman's job of offering one price, then coming back with deals and "buy now" lower priced offers. If my wooden window sills hadn't been rotting out and were coincidentally already going to be replaced this year anyway, I wouldn't have felt comfortable agreeing to something the company thinks can't sell without "tactics." My husband is still resentful that we were told we would be given a quote that would be good for a year, but that it was quite high compared to average market rates, and that the more fair quote was only good if we agreed to buy right then and there; I don't want my friends and family to think that I think they deserve that.”

“The whole team that came out between doing the overview all seemed so professional, nice, polite, and very tidy, and when they came and did the work, they were out of here and did it meticulously. They had drop cloths and everything else so that they did not make a mess of the home.”

“They engage in really high pressure sales techniques. I should have expected it after the window pitch took 4 hours. But the first day of install they came out ostensibly to do quality control. Instead they were there for three hours pitching me more work on my house that would have doubled the amount of the project, and pitching me “this deal only good for this exact second” financing. It was the middle of my work day and even after I declined, they wouldn’t let up. As far as I am aware there are specific protections against this type of predatory sales pitching. But if there aren’t, there should be. They were in a rush both to get the work done (meaning they kind of brushed my concerns to the side) and also to get me to sign up for more work. No one was mean and it is clear that this is the company’s approach. But it was not okay.”
