“The first team that came to our home said that covering rotten wood with siding was as good as repairing it. They did such a poor job, every window, door frame, Eve, and overhang needed to be redone. As well as every external electrical outlet being misfit, they tossed the external lights into bushes and broke several objects in the yard. All the repairs needed were not passed on to the second work crew who came to my house. When they walked around they said the entire house should be redone and they hadn’t been told the extent of the repairs in the project plan and left. The account manager called at this point and said the first team would come fix everything. I refused to let them on my property and was told I would have to wait for another crew to be available. More than one month after the initial install was finished, a third crew came to complete the repairs. This crew was competent but repaired only what i specifically pointed out. No compensation was offered other than replacing the broken objects in the yard. The promised electrician has still not contacted me about the cut power lines in the wall from the initial team but the siding does look good. The gutter install crew was friendly and did a great job.”

“There should be no reason to call back because of the work being done in the dark. Also, why didn’t the person in charge notice the areas we were concerned about. Wonderful workers, but I think it should have been the supervisor who alerted his workers of problem areas, instead my son had to send pictures. What concerns me quite deeply is if I recommend someone I certainly would want a job done correctly because my reputation is on the line and this should have been corrected without my son’s input. Suppose my friend doesn’t have the means to take pictures and send it to you?”

“Yes, I would recommend Power Home Remodeling and actually already have. The teams that did the gutters and soffits did a great job. The team that did the windows as absolutely amazing. The seams around the windows and trim were done so well they look seamless. The team that did the siding did a very good job on the siding itself. The windows team leader told me it was very level making the installation of the trip easier. However, the siding team lacked attention to detail and seemed at the end to be running. The last day they were working in the dark to calk the trip and it was not done well or cleanly. There was also a list of thinks that needed to be addressed. They tried to redo the trim 3 times. Power finally sent the windows team back to redo all of the window trim. Other things on this list were: 2 down spouts were installed in the wrong places, the railing for the steps was not reattached to the house, lights that were removed from the house were broken or discarded and needed to be replaced by Power, the door bell buttons were discarded, there were more. They removed a light on the back of the house which they were specifically asked not to remove. Power agreed to reinstall it but this has not yet been completed properly. Had the siding team not removed it, this would not be an issue. One of the best thing about my experience with Power was their customer service. They were always available. The listened to the issue and worked to get everything resolved. As noted there is still the one thing left but I am confident that this will resolved. As someone who has a made a career of customer/technical service for a company, I have very high expectation of company's customer service. Power has met those expectations.”

“On the day of installation, after everyone had left, I noticed one of the windows was cracked. I reported it the very next day supported with a photo. I was assured it would be taken care of. 6 weeks later, I had heard nothing. A call to Power resulted in a promise for re placement at a date 3 months out. It will be another month before I see if that actually happens.”

“They said they would be back to install shade brackets and they never came back. That by itself not so big a deal but they left an absolute mess outside the house. It was dark and there was snow on the ground so I was not able to see all of the white plastic pieces all over the outside until the snow melted but for days I was pulling small pieces of plastic out of my dogs mouth. All they needed to do was lay down drop cloths outside as well as inside and that would not have been an issue. Bottom line is they rushed the job trying to get a 2 day job done in one day.”

“This project was so incredibly frustrating. The people who came out to get my business. We’re very eager to show up exactly on time. But when it came to do the actual work, I didn’t experience that. The roof took so long to do and I understand that it was snowing and it delayed things, but the team was supposed to come back the following day on Sunday. Nobody showed up and there was zero communication. It took me calling on Monday to learn that they needed more supplies because for some reason they didn’t bring enough with them and then they didn’t show up until Monday. Not only that they left a whole lot of nails in my driveway and I’m very lucky that I didn’t get a flat tire. Then when the gutters were supposed to be done, I asked for the team to come first thing in the morning because I had a lot of therapy sessions and I didn’t want those to be disrupted. They not only didn’t come first thing in the morning, but they didn’t show up to my house until 2 PM after I had to call yet again to find out where the team was. I have other projects that need to be done in my house, but I will say that I will not hire power because it was a very frustrating process. And then I looked at the reviews on Google, which I should have done prior, and the reviews are terrible. Not only that, but not one person from power ever commented on anybody’s reviews to try to make anything right. And that to me tells me it is not a company with integrity. And it’s too bad because I have a very large reach of people and I absolutely could not recommend this company.”

“For most of the project, the siding crew worked quickly and finished ahead of schedule, but there were a few issues that I was not happy with. I contacted the project manager & they sent someone out to review my concerns, but I am still awaiting a resolution. Our gutter installation & window installation were exactly as expected and we're content with the finished product.”
