"Blake Nyman told me it would be a one day job. I told him Friday, December 5th didn't work for me because I was working in Boston that day, but Saturday, the 6th would work. To my surprise, the crew showed up early on Friday. I had to dispatch my daughter, who lives in Sandwich, to the house so that someone could be there. My bad for not reviewing the entirety of the contract at the time. Having spent five plus hours going through the sales pitch, I just wanted to get it done. The crew did not finish until well after 6 PM the following day, in complete darkness, rendering the post-work inspection useless. Indeed, a bundle of shingles and a single ventilation shingle is still in my driveway. It was too dark for the crew to even see what was left behind. Please come back to take them away once the snow clears. The next day, I stopped counting after picking up 100 roofing nails from the lawn and bushes. On that Saturday morning, the second day of work, I heard what turned out to be flashing and roofing materials come crashing down on my composite back deck because the tarp had not been properly secured at that end of the house, damaging the deck. Blake told me that, in preparing the estimate, he was overestimating the amount of wood that would be required, and more than likely there would be a refund as a result. The initial project cost came in at $37,655.28, but because the crew needed more wood, I ended up paying $37,922.02, a difference of $255.74. At $4.34 per quoted square foot, that's an additional 59 square feet of wood, where the initial proposal included 96 square feet of wood, for a total of 155 square feet of wood. That's a 61% estimation error. I paid a premium price for what I had hoped would be very good work, and I was disappointed."

"The windows appear to be of good quality, however, their practice with scheduling was terrible. I had three different calls, and I finally got an appointment of my own demand on the fourth time. That was ridiculous. I'm still waiting for a phone call for the screens that don't even fit properly into the channel. I look like the house that Jack built, and my neighbor even noticed that. She also asked me if it was supposed to be built like that, and I said no, they're not going into the top channel. The screen and everything were supposed to be put in at the end of July or January twenty-fifth or so, I believe, something like that. But that's when the job was completed, and of course they took the money out right away, which I should have called the bank and told them that that was unacceptable. They should have waited, because it was installed on the twenty-fifth. So we're already into the second week, and I did not hear from anyone, and we're already into the 2nd week of doing this repair, which is screens. It's not like an entire window as an assembly, but no one got back to me. So, I called the beginning of this week because no one had gotten back to me, and I felt that someone should have at least gotten back to me to tell me. The communication is relatively non-existent due to the fact that the day that they called on the third cancellation of the installment was at the time the gentleman was supposed to come. The third time they canceled to make another installation date, eight something, a few minutes after eight, I'm getting a phone call from their department that is the repair department of some sort. I know it was extension six-six-six-zero. They said that they needed to change the date because that particular team that was coming to my house to do the installation didn't want to work because of the windchill factors, which happen when it's windy, but it's not the entire day. The next thing was I asked him if they have other teams out, and he said yes. So he's going to tell me that this one particular team that doesn't want to work today is okay by him, yet the other teams are out doing the installations. That's where I had a problem. The fact that he called me in the time window that the team was supposed to show up to do the installation, and this is the third date I had, so now I'm pushed to a fourth installation date, which he said he can get a team out here on Monday. No one's going to work, and not to mention this snowstorm has been predicted for a week now. So, maybe it would have been better practice for him to call me on the day before, Friday, and say they may not come tomorrow because of the weather. If they had done that, I would not have moved all my furniture out of their way, which I was asked to do before they came. I was also asked to take down all of my window treatments, which are shades that include brackets, and then that night there are no shades in my windows, and I have a streetlight out here. Luckily I have a mask, but my sister was furious because she doesn't like wearing the mask because it falls off, and it was just daylight in there the whole time when she was in her bedroom. So, again, the communication is sorely lacking. I owned a business, I ran businesses, and I was a manager most of the time, if not an owner. That should have been a phone call preceding the date of my third installation date to let me know not to bother and wait until the team gets there. It was only five windows, but I'm not putting it all back up to take it down the next day, so I just asked him if they can come tomorrow, because I'm going to keep this. Otherwise, I'm canceling the whole thing, period. We'll see if I have to go to court because they've already canceled my date for the fourth time. I can fight them for whatever money they think I will owe them for this constant inconvenience. That was my problem. I feel the quality of the glass of these windows is good, however, the screen is hanging down one inch that you can visibly see through the lowest ash. My neighbor already commented on that. She needs five windows put into her house, which I highly doubt she will use them. I'm going to say just do some research, and I don't even know why I went with this company because it was supposed to be like some sort of a discount to the state of Massachusetts, and I got this email, so I thought I was doing the right thing. Shame on me, and that's my fault that I didn't do my research. I've owned a house since nineteen eighty-five, and I always do research, and I've had work done on the other house, like the siding, windows, doors, and storm doors. I never encountered this kind of situation, and I've had a whole new heating system put into this home. I've been in here now for nine years this year, because it was two thousand seventeen when I bought this home, so it's not like I haven't dealt with people that do service calls or do whatever I'm having worked on. I've had countertops, cabinets, etc. I've never had this experience where someone changed the date four times to get it, whatever installation was happening."

"The first team that came to our home said that covering rotten wood with siding was as good as repairing it. They did such a poor job, every window, door frame, Eve, and overhang needed to be redone. As well as every external electrical outlet being misfit, they tossed the external lights into bushes and broke several objects in the yard. All the repairs needed were not passed on to the second work crew who came to my house. When they walked around they said the entire house should be redone and they hadn’t been told the extent of the repairs in the project plan and left. The account manager called at this point and said the first team would come fix everything. I refused to let them on my property and was told I would have to wait for another crew to be available. More than one month after the initial install was finished, a third crew came to complete the repairs. This crew was competent but repaired only what i specifically pointed out. No compensation was offered other than replacing the broken objects in the yard. The promised electrician has still not contacted me about the cut power lines in the wall from the initial team but the siding does look good. The gutter install crew was friendly and did a great job."

"Yes, I would recommend Power Home Remodeling and actually already have. The teams that did the gutters and soffits did a great job. The team that did the windows as absolutely amazing. The seams around the windows and trim were done so well they look seamless. The team that did the siding did a very good job on the siding itself. The windows team leader told me it was very level making the installation of the trip easier. However, the siding team lacked attention to detail and seemed at the end to be running. The last day they were working in the dark to calk the trip and it was not done well or cleanly. There was also a list of thinks that needed to be addressed. They tried to redo the trim 3 times. Power finally sent the windows team back to redo all of the window trim. Other things on this list were: 2 down spouts were installed in the wrong places, the railing for the steps was not reattached to the house, lights that were removed from the house were broken or discarded and needed to be replaced by Power, the door bell buttons were discarded, there were more. They removed a light on the back of the house which they were specifically asked not to remove. Power agreed to reinstall it but this has not yet been completed properly. Had the siding team not removed it, this would not be an issue. One of the best thing about my experience with Power was their customer service. They were always available. The listened to the issue and worked to get everything resolved. As noted there is still the one thing left but I am confident that this will resolved. As someone who has a made a career of customer/technical service for a company, I have very high expectation of company's customer service. Power has met those expectations."

"They said they would be back to install shade brackets and they never came back. That by itself not so big a deal but they left an absolute mess outside the house. It was dark and there was snow on the ground so I was not able to see all of the white plastic pieces all over the outside until the snow melted but for days I was pulling small pieces of plastic out of my dogs mouth. All they needed to do was lay down drop cloths outside as well as inside and that would not have been an issue. Bottom line is they rushed the job trying to get a 2 day job done in one day."

The roof took so long to do and I understand that it was snowing and it delayed things, but the team was supposed to come back the following day on Sunday. Nobody showed up and there was zero communication. It took me calling on Monday to learn that they needed more supplies because for some reason they didn’t bring enough with them and then they didn’t show up until Monday. Not only that they left a whole lot of nails in my driveway and I’m very lucky that I didn’t get a flat tire. Then when the gutters were supposed to be done, I asked for the team to come first thing in the morning because I had a lot of therapy sessions and I didn’t want those to be disrupted. They not only didn’t come first thing in the morning, but they didn’t show up to my house until 2 PM after I had to call yet again to find out where the team was. I have other projects that need to be done in my house, but I will say that I will not hire power because it was a very frustrating process. And then I looked at the reviews on Google, which I should have done prior, and the reviews are terrible. Not only that, but not one person from power ever commented on anybody’s reviews to try to make anything right. And that to me tells me it is not a company with integrity. And it’s too bad because I have a very large reach of people and I absolutely could not recommend this company."

It is supposed to be a one-day project that turned into a six day. Although, in their system, I am now aware that they closed it. Like 2 days before, I was getting calls from their project managers hovering me to make a payment when the dumpster was still there. When they finally did get it, it just sat in my driveway for days. I had to remind them over and over again to get it off my property. They damage my son's truck. A nail in his paw and it got messed up. Because the dumpster was not there, all this stuff was all over my yard for days. Had this basic roofing job gone well, I would have spent another $81,000 with this company. Because it is so horrible, that is never going to happen."

"From the beginning we had issues getting the correct shingle including an incorrect delivery, also when the correct shingle was supposed to show up it did not, there was never a final walk around when product was installed as everyone boasted, there was no supervision on site, the promises made to not damage my skylight were broken, from initial salesman at the beginning promising us he'd put extra notes in the order ( who is reading those notes if they were entered?), to the quality assurance person who visited my property during the install (who could not speak Spanish)and had no leadership on site to talk to- He told me not to worry about it as well , he spent more time trying to sell me more products. The crews do not speak English. There was no supervisor to communicate with. From what I can see other than damaging my skylight the rest of the install went well. I'm not blaming the crew, I'm blaming the management and the sales people and their lack of communication. Everybody I spoke to, about eight different employees through a series of phone calls and a couple on-sites, were all different. In the very end things were rectified, not the day they said it would be fixed, but eventually they fixed it, and I finally got that final walk around after all of my complaining, it was a painful process from start to finish. There should be ONE point of contact for homeowner, I was thrown around like a ping pong ball."

"Power Home installed a new roof for us in 2013. They later installed a bunch of windows. We’ve been happy with their work and their warranty, so when a PH rep came by to remeasure for the 7 new windows in our sunroom, we were open to discussion about our siding. We knew it was in tough shape, so we listened attentively, if not with dread, in anticipation of the bottom line. And it was STEEP. The salesperson (Dustin) was very knowledgeable. He spent hours with us, and we learned a lot. After agreeing to the plan, he said he would stop by during the installation. He said he would make specific recommendations about the downspouts. (If he made them, they were never passed on to the installation team or the project manager.) We scheduled a tentative date for service. That was the last time we heard from Dustin. The new sunroom windows were installed without a problem. Then the roof on our garage went on with barely a blip. Both look great. Both used less than the quoted amount of wood, so we were rebated some money for that. The siding installation lasted more than a week, in part due to the weather. The job was also more complex than anyone anticipated. We weren’t in a hurry, so that wasn’t a problem. The installation team of two people worked very hard and for long hours, often into the evening. At one point, a project manager, Keric, stopped by because we had some issues. For example, we wanted pricing for additional shutters. Shutters are free with siding, but these were windows that previously had no shutters, and because that side of the house could be seen coming down our street, we wanted it to look complete. It seemed to us that spending close to $100k might warrant free shutters (3–4 sets cost maybe $500), but whatever. Some of the newly installed shutters were the wrong size. The dimensions for PH shutters are standardized. The lengths were the issue, and the sizes we needed were close enough. I’m a little control-freakish about such things, but we were overwhelmingly happy with how our house was looking. Another note about the shutters is that there is only one design, and frankly, it’s ugly. There is no louvred design, which is how shutters are supposed to look. The salesperson told us they don’t supply that design because it’s wasp-friendly. However, our home had louvred shutters for many decades with nary a wasp. Near the end of the installation, I noticed a few things that irritated me. One is that in several areas, the seams of the siding aligned vertically. It’s not horrible, but it is noticeable, and it is NOT aesthetically pleasing. But whatever. The other thing I told and showed Keric was that there was a lot of a whitish, powdery substance on several areas around the house and garage. Keric said they would surely go away with rain. I said it had already rained, but I was willing to wait until it rained harder. If it didn’t go away, he said they’d take care of it. It rained harder, and the residue remained unchanged. I texted this issue (and others) to Shane (not sure of his role) and was told the crew would take care of it. They did not. It may seem like a petty matter, but when you pay almost $100k, a customer deserves as close to perfection as possible. A few other details irked us. When trying to dry a few loads of laundry, I couldn’t figure out why they weren’t drying well—until the next day, when we realized they sided over our dryer vent. That was fixed the next day. When they replaced the vent for our heating system, they replaced it with an intake valve that had a tiny hole. That evening, we could hear our heating system making weird whooshing noises. My husband went to check the exhaust and was confounded by what was installed. He had to lever the valve open so our system wouldn’t struggle to “breathe.” We texted an option from Amazon that has a mesh screen on it—keeps out critters but allows full air intake. Still waiting on that. We also noticed none of the fixtures have been sealed. Keric said someone would be by to use blue (the color of our siding) caulking to seal up everything. Still waiting. The electrical box needs to be reset on the side of the house; as it is now, you can still see our old siding behind it, and it looks pretty bad. When one of the handrails was reattached to the front of the house, the siding was scratched. That panel needs to be replaced. I’m not happy with the trim around our portico—it sticks out too much, but Keric said there isn’t anything they can do about that. When the doorbell wires were pulled through the new trim, they were pulled off to the side, and it looks ridiculous. I can’t install a new doorbell until that’s fixed, and I’m not hiring an electrician to re-install the lanterns and lights around the house and not have the doorbell installed at the same time. They left a big box of material in our backyard. It’s still there. I requested a final receipt for insurance purposes. Still waiting. Power Home says they rely on customer word-of-mouth advertising as well as drive-bys. They could have had their logo-emblazoned Tyvek across the front of our house (on a busy street) for at least a few days or more, but it was only visible for a short time. Friends, family, and neighbors who stopped by love the look of the house but are unimpressed by the lack of service. Especially with the big chunk of siding that fell off within a week of the installation and REMAINS leaning against a wall to this day. Power Home pressured us to sign off on each project. Initially, we refused to sign off until we were 100% happy (with the roof on our garage, then with the gutters). But, after the installation of our windows, which went adequately well, the lead installer said he was pressured to make sure we signed off on the siding. Earlier, he had said something about his young son, and since it was already after dark on Halloween, we hated to keep him any longer from getting home to see his kid in his costume, etc., so we caved and signed off. Shane texted us with scheduling matters, and I used that communication vehicle to convey our issues starting the morning of October 31. I even asked him if our open items would still be resolved after we signed off, and he said, “Yes we will definitely continue working with you until you all are happy.” Hah! The window installation team resolved a couple of the items on our list, but those on the rest of the list, plus additional items we thought we would address during another promised walk-through, have yet to be resolved more than a month later. The walk-through never happened, either. After the window installation team left and we signed off on the entire project, our pleas for addressing open matters have fallen on deaf ears and blind eyes. A week and several texts later, after NO response, we tried calling. One of the biggest overall issues with PH is communication. There is no direct line of communication with any one source. For me, texting (or email, if there is such a communication method with PH), is important. I want my issues documented and for them to be easily referred to during future communication. That’s ONE reason we tried sticking with texts. But after more than a week with no response to our texts, we called. Calling PH is a pain in the neck. Since their emails aren’t printed on PH business cards, nor are direct telephone numbers for calling/texting, you have to call the main number or the number of the local office. With the main number, you tell them what you want, and they transfer you to a local office—never to a specific person. Our local office is in Waltham, MA. Every time we call, the phone rings and rings. NO ANSWER. This is exceedingly frustrating. When you tell the person at the main number not to transfer you because of this, they say how odd it is that no one is answering the phone, and that she will send an email to them to call us back. Guess what? No call back. We did finally get through and spoke with someone who said he was taking notes and that he’d make sure everything would get done. He sent us a link to upload photos on their app. We uploaded our photos. I also screenshot my Notes page listing the existing issues and uploaded that as well. The man (I can’t recall his name) said he’d have the crew back out to attend to the outstanding issues by the end of the week (that would be 11/14/25) or the following week. He would also make sure the electrician came out within a few weeks (only works on Thursdays and Fridays, I think, at least for the issue we have). He said he would provide contact information to us regarding the gouge in our driveway that the dumpster delivery truck made, so WE could make a claim directly. (Why do WE have to do this? Argghhh.) It was serendipitous that I found this survey, so we can now have another method of letting PH know how disappointed we are. We’ll still call the local office this week and go through that rigmarole. There doesn’t seem to be a way to escalate this matter. We now know (after re-checking reviews) that other people have had similar experiences being pressured to sign off, then communication being shut down. We won’t stop trying, though. Social media is our next step, and that can be a mighty force. In addition to the items on our list, we just noticed that two of our new windows have compromised seals. Hopefully, those will be attended to in short order. PH does stand behind their windows. How can you make this right? Please resolve our outstanding issues!"

We were also not allowed to cancel the door we did not want and now hate. For over $15,000 that is a disgrace. We were also rescheduled multiple times because “even though the door “shipped” and we could not change it, it was delayed… we don’t actually believe that. We finally were scheduled for 8-10 on a Saturday, then they called and said 12-2. The workers showed up at 2:00 for an 8 hour job. We would not let them start that late and had to reschedule again. Then items came in damaged and we are still waiting for replacements. Also we ordered a frosted window and got one with clear textured glass, not what we meant. But again we were never shown any catalog to pick from so we are living with that miscommunication"

"We had to have crews return for two separate visits to complete work that the original crews had not done adequately. One to address an issue with finishing work at the roof line near the chimney, and the other to address water leakage at the gutter on the front of the house. The crew was scheduled and rescheduled multiple times, and their feedback once the work was complete was that the original crew "forgot to complete screwing in the gutters." Makes us wonder what else was overlooked on the various projects, especially since much of the work is located high up and not something that we can easily see. During our window installation, the crew left several green sticky strips (the ones that are under the screens) and various black marks on the frames, sills, and walls surrounding the windows. I feel that for the cost of the window installation, we should be getting a clean product after installation and not have to try to peel off all these green stickers that are very clearly labeled "remove before installing". Because we had to call back for work repair, we were left with a very bad taste in our mouths and an overall lack of trust in the work. I can't confidently say that I would put my reputation on the line and recommend them to anyone I know."

Your professionals sealed live birds in one soffit vent, put soffit right over an outlet, and all the vents are over plywood with no vent past it. Do you expect me to let these amateurs do more work?? They couldn't do it right the first time and they are trained by Power Home Remodeling. If they don't know that it's wrong to begin with, how are they going to fix it? Also, we would see a date and time scheduled for a project in the app. It would remain the same date and time up until the evening before when they would change the arrival time with out confirmation with us that the 3-4 hr change in arrival time worked for us. The app seemed largely like a one way communication. More awareness by installers regarding existing garden/landscaping. Gutter removal and fascia install resulted in many broken branches on a rhododendron. I asked the window installer to move the ladder off of coneflower bush as many stems were snapped. He was apologetic and understood as was more aware of ladder placement as the project continued. I’d like if they were more aware from the start. If I was not home at the start of their project to notice the placement of their ladders, much of my landscaping could have been damaged Overall, happy with our choice but will have to wait and see how these new gutters and windows holdup through the seasons."

"Chimney: rubble left in attic is piled on top of attic access panel. Access panel can’t be opened. Power stipulated that we engage and pay for an HVAC line to be relocated before they could do their work. We made that arrangement and paid for it, however Power installers did not do any work in that vicinity that required the HVAC work to be done. Power gave a partial discount for that unnecessary work. The HVAC work cost about $2,700 and the related Power discount was about $700. The Azek work along the roof walls is unsightly as is, and will require repainting (at least) before it looks decent. This is in spite of our prepainting of the Azek. Also the width of the Azek trim is twice what we expected. The contract itself did not stipulate the width of the Azek trim. Power literature and photographs of completed work were misleading compared to our 6” Azek mounted with surface screws. Clean up was incomplete, and gardens were were told not to worry about weee damaged."

"Power Review Windows? Sure. Anything else whatsoever? Read on. We first did business with Power in 2019, having four windows replaced. When Power re-approached us again this year regarding other windows we'd discussed replacing, we also mentioned our roof was badly damaged and in need of repair; by doing this we gave Power a much larger project and profit than they'd expected to land from a five year cold call, so they leapt at the chance and very quickly put together a bid and budget plan. We now regret this decision. The contractors Power employs and trains produce excellent workmanship and they do it fast; their skill is not the source of the difficulties with Power that we experienced with this project. Our previous contract with Power, doing only window replacement, went well enough that we were receptive to their next approach despite being on the highest end of the average bids we got. Because we had been satisfied enough by their previous work here, and frankly because due to the fact that my spouse is now disabled, on chemo, with a progressively debilitating chronic illness that has stopped us from doing any of the preventive or repair work on the house we had previously been capable, and exhausted with trying to find local contractors to do the work which we normally prefer to do to support our immediate community, Power's bid was nowhere near the more affordable end for us especially since we're living on one income, but it was there and it was fast so we said yes. We informed them that the attic had a severe mold issue due to the roof damage which required professional abatement, which we'd already gotten estimates for and was a risk to our health; moreso to a high-risk patient, and speed was now of the essence. Of the two original projects, the window replacement went fine, just as the first time had. You just want windows replaced? Sure, go with these people. You won't have any regrets and I doubt many complaints; five years had gone by. The roof, not so much. We cannot recommend this to happen to friends or family. Our house required a specific attic ventilation design, which had been discussed, reiterated, discussed again, and been assured of installation. It was not. First off, the attic vent fan was never discussed or even mentioned as to whose responsibility it was to uninstall it. We should have been told we would need to attend to that by Power. It was still connected to electricity when the crew arrived. One of us had to go up into the mold and do it; lucky that they know how, AND had a professional grade respirator to be able to go up there at all since they are on chemo and at huge risk of lung infection? Communication failure from the very start: The wrong supplies were delivered to the house, and the crew that was sent to install the roof had no knowledge of any change in the work, and in fact argued with us when we saw what they were installing was the wrong system and told them to stop, going so far as to tell us that we were wrong because "there's only one way". The only fully fluent English-speaking member of the crew seemed to be the foreman, who was obviously overseeing multiple jobs because he disappeared for the vast proportion of the entire day. My spouse speaks enough Spanish to at least ask or answer questions or hold a short conversation, and understands a lot more than they still speak. This crew was not interested in communicating with us. They were there to get the job done as fast as possible and get to the next one. This appears to be Power's M.O.: Speed first, quality check later. Those crews had better be some of the highest paid in the area to be able to perform the high-quality workmanship they do at warp speed. Are they? We were later informed that this was the first time that crew of workers had ever been sent to install our version of the contracted ventilation system. That is no excuse for not knowing it existed in the first place, nor for arguing about if it existed, nor for not stopping and getting hold of the foreman or someone higher in authority involved. They cannot claim they couldn't understand us, because the use of smartphone translation apps became involved as well. Lack of respect for property damage was appalling. The entirety of the 2.5-foot raised-stone retaining wall garden bed/landscaping along the kitchen side of our house, bordering the driveway, is NOT stable for the weight of ladders and equipment; we expressly told them that as we’d learned from previous experience at replacing this roof, and they ignored this as well. Not only was the landscaping completely destroyed, stomped and crushed flat despite our pleading with the crew not to; the weight pushed out the soil bed and many of the stones are now bulged out or have fallen out of the retaining wall and soil/stone dust is falling in piles into the driveway. We cannot afford to pay to have it rebuilt and we can’t do it ourselves anymore. I sincerely doubt this would have happened at a house worth a few hundred thousand more than ours. We will not know until spring if any of the plants survived. Some were not replaceable. Again, communication issues went far across the board, not just the crews: the Power Pulse "app" that just links to the website seemed great at first for keeping up with scheduling, but it too became out of sync with appointment times different than what we were told on the phone, and many "after" photos have yet to be loaded - if they exist. Specifically, images of the soffit & fascia boards that were rotting or damaged pre-work done. I know some had to be, and not questioning that whatever was found absolutely was repaired, but it's jarring not to have the same types of pre & post photos for any work as the windows or roof projects do. Power's lack of ability to maintain reliable communications within its regional teams is troubling, as "communication" was what Power kept blaming the problems on. They also seem to be struggling with employment of the hardest-working teams like those doing roofing. One crew was still up on the roof at nearly 10pm, working late after dark with very little light; we brought out the largest LED spotlight stand we own for them but that did nothing for the safety of the men on the roof and we were very concerned for them; we find that extremely disturbing as well. It's well known that there's a shortage of workers across the country, and why, for anyone with a past as a contractor; watching the speed these crews worked at, no wonder nobody told them there even was a second type of roof vent, because there wasn't time. Apologies were made, re-scheduling the installation of the correct ventilation system took a few weeks due to weather, and then the expected "While we were up there, we noticed..." fishing expedition began. The gentleman Power sent to our home to do the "apologize, then bait" game, using an alleged refund in the amount of materials estimated for the roof to be put toward replacing the fascia and soffits and installing gutters, or it could be returned in cash, then offered a refinancing of the total loan at a lower interest rate. While we took him up on that offer, we did not appreciate that he came into the house coughing and snuffling, without a mask and before I had a chance to ask him to wear one, into the home of a high-risk patient, and exactly two weeks later, we both had COVID, with identical symptoms as his. Thanks so much for that extra bonus. While the roof itself appears to be a quality product, which only time will tell, the cost of this fiasco which is supposed to be high because of "speed and efficiency", was nowhere worth the amount of property damage, aggravation, and health risks we experienced. To sum up: If you want decent replacement windows done quickly and effectively? Sure, Power's a good choice for that. We cannot recommend them for anything else after this experience."

"I'm stressing out over the building permit issue. I have a piece of paper that the building department gave me that says on the top intake. Review: initial review will be done. , then submitted to required departments and inspector for review period if you need any information regarding this approval step, please contact the building deployment. 9786404430 period on hold On. Hold, this is only an application fee for review to begin assignee. Nancy O'keefe due date. None, then there's a line. That goes across the page, then below it. It says no Nancy El Keefe. Then it's on the right, it says remove comment - July 09, 2024 at 4:39 PM. Then below that it says needs an electrical permit before we can issue the building permit. That was on July 9th that that comment was removed. When I went to the town hall, you had already finished the whole project. Except the power line from the peak and the house down to the electric meter wasn't attached to the side of the house and when I called national grid, they said I have to get an electrical inspector so I went to the town hall and get an electrical inspecter. And they talk gave me this piece of paper and they said and I read. It says needs an electrical permit before we can issue a building permit. And then they told me they weren't even even supposed to be to stop the project yet, because they didn't have a building permit. So now I'm the one that's stressing out. About it. I wanna I want this to get done and all over with. I wanna pay you guys and I'm stressing out. Waiting period and on your website that you put on my phone. It says the the siding's done. The gutters are done and the windows are again. Complete sign completed, but the. The the the but the part you didn't put into the equation. Was that the electrical and the building inspect the have to come and inspect it and give there okay before the job is done. Not you talk their partner's done that? They've inspected it and it's okay. I can see the way I have a heart attack before you guys get out here and get this finished. And die of my heart attack. And then then you won't get your money because I won't be here to pay it. And now you want to review what kind of you can I give you in in a state of mind that I'm in. When all of this gets done and I get to relax and and finally enjoy my siding, which I by the way. Everybody that that worked on the hosted. A beautiful job too bad you didn't do such a good job with the the legality part of it. The whole thing then then I wouldn't be saying this one on this. I wouldn't be on your survey thing. But I would be saying good things. I can't see anything. Gordon told us it's all done. So when when it's finally all of them done, when you get your guy out there to pay? The the building permit fleeing get the building permit and the electrical permit out here. And get the inspect this out here. And get this job done, then. I'll gladly give you you to check and pay for the job and and. And then I'll be relieved. The stress'll go away, then. Strand me the survey a week. Or 2 later, and then you'll. I'll have something more favorable to say. Period well, that's all I have to say and I hope this gets done real fast. Cause I'm getting tired of thinking about it. I'm getting I'm worn out. "Unfortunately, the situation that I went through to get the window that was presented to me was very stressful to work with the people who gave the information. They did not perform the job well. The window is beautiful but the job completed is horrible. I had to call Power Home Remodeling multiple times to demand that someone come to fix the issue. I was passionate about my request in a way that Power does not put priority on the importance of my request. To them, I did not know what I was talking about, even though I sent pictures that speak for themselves. When they showed up, it was almost 7pm at night and left at 11pm with a flashlight, which I think adds to why the job was not completed well enough. They stated it was a manufacturing job issue and not their problem. They were not courteous to me as a customer, even though I have completed two jobs with them. They came out and did what I wanted them to do: address the holes in the wall, correct the seal on the window, and address the issues with the screws. It took me more than a week and many phone calls to get them to address something that took them an hour to do. They stated the house was going to move, and when the house moves, the window moves. They stated there is a warranty, and now they will have to take everything out to address the issue. The job is now beautiful. I spent $80,000 on this job for them to complete a horrible job the first time. They were very unprofessional. The workers and I are both Spanish, and the way they treated me as a consumer was unprofessional. I am the owner of a business as well, and I always try to find a solution to please my customers, but I feel the manager did not treat me that way. I cannot say that I would recommend Power to my friends. I had 19 windows done with Window World, and they did a beautiful job. I had an issue with one of the windows and within two hours, they were out there and addressed the issue. I recommend Window World to others because of that experience. I had someone from Power Home Remodeling come to my door, and the man was so nice that I listened to him and gave him the chance to complete my window. Another person came to the house and was here for hours explaining the benefits of the windows and how they are different from other companies. That salesperson was so nice and answered all of my questions. I asked that the job be completed beautifully, and he stated it would be. We sat down, signed the papers, and what was promised was not what I received from Power for the job. The window is beautiful, but the job is not. The gentleman was rude to me, explaining that the job always looks a certain way, and it was not because of the window itself; it was because of the work completed. He was not nice. One of my requests was regarding my flowers and being careful with them. All of my flowers were broken, and I am hoping they will grow back next year. They should not come at night to do the job that needed to be completed, and I think that is why the job was not completed well."

"5 stars for the window replacement. Everything about it, and all of the various people involved (sales, measurements, installation, inspection) were fantastic. The installation team did leave some debris on-site, but the inspector took it away in his truck before he left. 4 stars for the siding work (subcontracted). They did a good job on a 90+ degree day. They did use some of our bricks that were being used as an animal barrier for our garden to level their ladder and didn't put them back. We also had language barriers that made the signing off process a littler longer. Some random metal pieces from the job were left in our driveway and boarders, but were easy to find before they did any potential damage to car tires. 1 star for the insulation work (subcontracted). The guy was supposed to come between 7-9 am, but due to a "communication issue" on their side, he didn't come until 12:30 pm. My wife took off work to be home to let him in, and had they told us he would be there in the afternoon, I could've been home and no time off needed. Punctual is supposedly one of their bill of rights. We wanted a radiant barrier put on our roof. He did maybe 70% and stopped, calling the job done. He also left a bunch of the fasteners on the floor of our attic and didn't take the time to cut off any excess material. My wife signed off on the paperwork without looking at the job (partially her fault), but the installer had her sign it on the first floor and made it seem like he was in a hurry to get back to PA where he's from. I called and complained about the job and sent photos and video. It was the end of the day, and I missed the call back, but there was no communication after. Without letting us know, it turns out, they are coming tomorrow between 10-noon. I only found this out because I called to complain about the gutter installation that was late and asked about a follow-up to the attic install. ZERO communication that someone was going to be coming, so now I have to take off of work again in hopes that they actually show up. It's not listed on the app that they tout as the greatest thing ever. 1 star so far for the gutter installation (subcontracted). The gutter installation was supposed to be done on Tuesday (two days ago, and a day after the siding since it goes on top of a portion of that), but then the app mysteriously updated itself to say Thursday (today) between 8-10 am. This isn't a huge deal since it's outside and no one needs to be home, but again, no actual communication from Power. At 11:30, we noticed that no one had shown up, so I called. It turns out, the install team couldn't source the black gutter materials, and so they'll have to do it tomorrow. ZERO communication from Power until I called them. The app even shows that they're still coming today between 8-10 even after I called and complained. It's supposed to rain today/tomorrow, and the manager assured me that it wouldn't do any damage to the siding that we just had them install. They have 10 bill of rights. They can go ahead and take off customer first, allocation, and punctual based on their descriptions. If you need windows done, I highly recommend them. When they try to sell you on other stuff, find someone else."

The cleanup was horrid and took days after the work was done for them to send someone to pick it up and only after I called to complain. Had to pay an extra fee for meter removal. Screws were left everywhere and had remove them myself. Metal liners for rain on corner of roof were put back and bent and not screwed down correctly."

I agreed to replace my existing gutters (only 4-5 yrs old) with new gutters to enable also the installation of fascia and soffit products and assumed I would be getting something (gutters) better than what I had. Perhaps I'm at fault for not observing this missing feature in the proposed product, however; it was my trust in the sales associate and the company that lead me to believe I was getting at least something comparable and lead to my committing to the order. While indeed the gutter size/capacity is larger which is a benefit we were advised the product would provide, what I had in my existing gutters was also a leaf guard (not the brand name) type leaf/debris blocking (screen) component on my existing gutters which I didn't get with the gutter product that PHR installed. The absence of this feature in the new gutters I find makes the product inferior and introduces the burden of additional maintenance. I committed to the order with PHR to gain existing client benefits when proceeding with the desired additional work (siding) that we'd like to entertain. I hope we can come to a reasonable accommodation to right this issue."

"At the initial “end” of the work we had a small section of siding remaining to be done. We were told they were shorted a few boxes and it should be handled early the following week. It ended up taking nearly 3 extra weeks for the final shipments and work to be done, and even now we still have the scrap leftovers sitting on our property not cleaned up. Their communication during the delays was terrible. If we didn’t call in we would never have been told of the shipping delays or appointment timing changes."

"Communication prior to having my work done was excellent, however, the day of the second part of the job, communication was non-existent. The installers were over 90 minutes late and I did not receive any message about this. After 30 minutes of waiting, I emailed your office (Alex) to inquire and received no response. When the installers finally showed up, 90 minutes late, I sent another message to inform your office that they finally showed. Still, no response from anyone (until late that evening). When the work was completed, the quality guy (Patrick) came to inspect, at which time we shared our disappointment in the experience. He apologized, and I imagine as a way to rectify the situation, reduced the original quote for a siding project we are considering by ~$15K. If you can reduce a price by such a large margin, on the spot, it seems that perhaps your original price is quite inflated. I'm really disappointed in this experience, since several of the early interactions with your employees were positive. I told Patrick that given the last experience, I'm not sure Power is the right vendor for us to use when we are ready to do our siding project in 2024."

"The sales team, Chiree and Courtney that came to discuss window replacement were wonderful. They arrived on time, were professional, very friendly and gave a very good presentation of the window replacement product and process. The team of 4 men that did our project, were rock stars! They arrived a few minutes early to our home on the day of the project. The crew was very respectful of our home and accommodated our request to begin the window replacement in the lower level of our home because my husband works remote and he wanted to get his office situated as quickly as possible. We really appreciate this! In total, we had 18 windows replaced. The day of the project it was very hot and humid and yet this crew worked diligently in the stifling heat. My husband and I both noted how well the crew cleaned up after themselves. Again, I cannot say enough great things about his crew! My reason in subtracting one star is for the assurance appointment which was scheduled for the following day after the project was completed. Derrick arrived on time at 10am. He checked all of the new windows that were installed and gave us some valuable ways to care for our windows. He found 2 window screens with small holes and had extra screen on hand so he replaced the screens which I really appreciated. My husband and I hadn't noticed the small holes on these screens so we appreciated the attention to detail in pointing this out. This is where the appointment should've ended. However, the appointment turned into a sales pitch which in short consisted of us to spend an additional $26K for new gutters and work on our attic and roof. Mind you, we just spent $19K on the window project. Derrick used aggressive sales and scare tactics to convince us of this new 'urgent' project. I explained to Derrick when he arrived that I was trying to get my house back in order from the window project and I had friends coming over at 3pm to see our new windows and we had reservations for dinner. I was still in my pajamas when he arrived so I had a lot to do before my guests arrived. Derrick didn't leave our house until 12:45pm!!! I was fuming!!! At some point during his pitch, I told him I had a ton of things to do and he completely disregarded this and said, "well, let me just show you these pictures of your attic", which he had just snapped to show us all the damage. In short, he basically told us our house would fall down if we didn't attend to this urgent project. I was floored by how aggressive he was. He is completely naive to think we would spend another $26K and make a decision like that on the spot. We just spent $19K the day before! Never again, would I let him in my house!"
