"Every Job should be treated as a new Job or a new build, just because house is pre existing does not mean that the standards can not be the same as a new build. Contractor comments was this is not a new build and that i was being picky. I feel that if i am spending my hard earn money i should get 100% satisfaction. Some of Allied's customers may not be familiar with construction but some are. Most subject that i am disappointed in is that contract details of what allied was to do during installation of siding was not followed or not read, many times i had to remind crew to install insulation where needed and door and window tape. In addition i had to pay out of my pocket a other contractor to repair brick that was nocked totally out or brick that was lose during window installation. i also discovered one window frame that is cracked."

"It was perfect, but the clean up was a big problem and there was paint all over. They didn't prepare when they put kiln on. They sprayed kiln all over the windows where the siding was. Other than that okay. They didn't cover all of the window and if the wind blows, it would get all over the windows."

"The product is great! My only issue was it took months for the completion of the job. We had both a roof and siding done but once the roof was complete, the crew was supposed to paint the areas where nails were used. It took from mid August until the end of October to do the touch up painting."

"We are very happy with the finished product but had some issues after that are still very frustrating. Our garage door was broken during the process and we were instructed to have the door fixed and we would be reimbursed. I forwarded the receipt on 8/31/18 and it's 10/19/18 and I am STILL waiting on reimbursement and have called the office countless times trying to get answers. We also had a few penetrating nails damage the inside of the house and were told someone would be calling to schedule repairs and are also still waiting. I was hoping all these issues would be settled so I could give a glowing survey but realized I'd be waiting for way too long."

"It was horrific—absolutely horrific. We had a bid September 4th, and the work didn't get completed until the end of January sometime. It was just an absolutely terrible way to run a business. The guy that came out was the salesperson. He came out and did an estimate, and then he basically disappeared off the scene at that point. He forwarded it to Ed. He's an engineer. He came out and looked at the bid, and then materials showed up—but no contractor showed up for weeks until I called. I got ahold of the contractor, and he was saying that, 'Your bid's too small for me. I've got a big crew. I'm not going to take the time to come out there and deal with your small bid. You're just going to have to wait.' Everybody was blaming it on the hurricane, and I'll give them a little bit, but I'm not going to give them all of it. I'm not going to say the hurricane caused this mass influx of carpentry work and all this other stuff. We're a multi-billion dollar country; they're not going to tell me that they don't have certified labor available to help them out on this, and they can't pull it from somewhere else if needed. It was an absolutely horrible experience with the company. We will definitely not be using them again. We won't refer them to anybody. We'll tell them to run—not walk—away from this company, because it was an absolutely horrible experience. They did siding and gutters. That's another thing: the left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing over there. They had to call several times to get stuff squared up. My four year old daughter could have run a business better than what they were doing. I'd give them a D. It was almost getting to a lawsuit point."

"It wasn't a totally positive experience. They were doing two or three different projects, and they did the siding project, but I had to have them come back and fix some things that the guys missed. They did the windows, and the windows were great—no problem—but then they were supposed to change out a patio door for me, and they finally came, but the door wasn't fixed; they wouldn't come back to fix it. I thought they were very professional and up-front with the letters and information they gave. The supervisor, though, never came by and checked the job. He left it totally up to the subcontractor they had, which I was a little concerned about, because if I was putting my name on it, I would want to actually come out and check the job. The different crews that came, some of them were good, and some were not so good. I would say they're mediocre. I'm happy with the windows, and I'm happy with most of the siding, but I'm not happy they didn't finish the job."

It was more, 'Is this going to hold up?'; 'Is this the right window for us?', in terms of wear-ability and price. Greg Fisher got it. "The quality of the work was excellent. We had a little hiccup in getting started as quickly as I would have liked, but once the job got going, it was very, very well done. I'm a pleased customer. They took off all the siding on a house and did some repairs to the flashing. Then they put on all new siding, and they painted the siding, all the trim, and also the porch railing.
