"There were lose tiles from the repair they did after Harvey. We have continued to have lose tiles since the repair and when the warranty was up we paid for the repairs. Since this has continued to happen, they did for this set of repairs decide it was an issue that should not be happening and did not charge. There was another issue of some tiles buckling. It was not repaired and I spent many days contacting my sales rep (who wasn't supposed to be involved in this) until finally someone was sent out to look at it as it appeared the one who did the other 2 repairs did not look at this 3rd issue I reported and sent a picture of."

"I highly recommend Remedy Roofing to anyone especially in Katy. I was in a bitter battle with Allstate who for many years kept denying my claims for obvious wind/hail damage to my roof. I had hired a public adjuster but was in a stand still with my insurance company. I chose Remedy Roofing and with their persistence with Allstate, patience with me and expertise, my roof and all of the interior sheetrock damage was replaced. "In 2010, when I had the roof put on I was happy. I was later told by a contractor that the roof wasn't done correctly. Remedy didn't try to take care of the issues. I got no responses after sending three pleading emails. I'm very upset about the fact that my roof is leaking. The minor repair work I paid for during the latter part of 2020 didn't hold up when they sealed places on the roof. I'm waiting on the report from the roofing inspector. I submitted a claim to the roofing supply company that supplied the shingles to do an inspection."

"Project was not supervised. Initial supervisor on vacation, back up supervisor called to another project. Third supervisor was an hr away and visited with me for 10 min on site. Appropriate materials (drip edge for example) not sourced. Remedy roofing uses a one size fits all drip edge. Remedy roofing was paid $1400 to detach and reset gutters. I was told Remedy roofing doesn’t do that; instead they cut up the new drip edge to make it fit around gutter mounts (what was the $1400 used for?). Remedy roofing has had to come out twice so far to address workmanship issues."

"Job supervision is inadequate. Window leak was not adequately fixed. When notified nobody came back to fix the leak (with in the 3 months warranty period) Supervisor did not even return the call. Roof should have been adequately sealed to prevent squirrels and mice entry into the attic, but not adequately addressed."

"The follow up from Remedy Roofing has resulted in flashing issues, and that's just 18 months after the work was completed. It was not good. I think they rushed the job and they were late on executing to get the job completed. When they finally got here to do it, they did the entire home in one day. We have a 4,600 square feet home, so the roof is huge. They cut corners and we were not happy. I would not use them again."

It wasn't bait-and-switch, but a situation like, they tell me this, and then tell me in the middle of it that I need more—I knew I didn't. So, I tried to explain to them ‘No, this is what we'll going to do.’ I had to reel them back in. They have a practice of ramping up their cost in the middle of the process; I didn't appreciate that. They even brought in people from the office to tell me what it needed, and I was telling them, 'OK, show me.' But they really couldn't. So, I told them, 'No.' But other than that, the quality of the work they completed was good. It was definitely adequate. I would grade the overall experience with a B-."

"I was very pleased with Remedy Roofing—very, very pleased with them. I noticed the guy that got on the roof, and he looked at the whole area. It wasn't just where I thought the spot was that needed to be repaired. I actually had another company to come out and repair, what I thought they repaired, and I paid them. I thought it was repaired, and I found out it wasn't. That's why I wound up calling Remedy, and I called the other people back, and I told them. But Remedy—the guy got on the roof. He looked all around the area, and he even saw where the problem really was. Remedy is a good name for the company—they really found the problem, and the man worked hard. There was one guy up there, by himself. He pulled off those shingles; he put it back neatly, very polite, and cleaned up afterward, picked up. I just liked everything about what they did; it didn't take forever to do the work, and it's fixed. He didn't bother the gutters at all. I would grade the overall experience with an A+. Customer service—they were very good as well. Even the first guy that came out—before he sent the actual guy to fix it—was very, very good; very polite and knowledgeable as well. As to recommendations, I have another girlfriend that needs something done to her roof, and I mentioned him to her. I've referred them to other people, too."

The understanding was that they were also supposed to help fix the sheetrock and stuff that was damaged, along with the leak, but that hasn't happened yet. Until they come and fix that, I won't have a positive opinion. They handled the other stuff, all that stuff well. The work was done in a timely manner. Other than that, most of it was positive. They did a good job in quoting the stuff out, getting the work done in a timely manner, managing the money well, and dealing with the insurance company. Punctuality—OK, at least for the work, but they are not punctual about getting the repair stuff out. I've recommended them already to a couple of friends."

"Remedy Roofing did work for me last year, and they eventually did the roof. I had a leak that my HVAC technician pointed out to me, but it took a while for someone to get back to me to schedule a time. So, that's the only negative experience I had. But he did come out on Saturday, and it's done; they replaced a roof for me. I liked that the salesperson was very nice, and he assisted me in getting my deductible reduced, so that was a big help, just to get the roof replaced. I think it was a very good experience; he was very courteous. So far, so good. Every time I called, the initial contact person was OK. I would grade the overall experience with a B. Customer service—the original work, everything went well. To get this leak situation done, the person who was supposed to contact me to schedule—I was very frustrated; I had to call at least four times. Cleanliness—inside my attic, there was a little bit of debris."

"It's been several years. I've had another roof since then. They were OK. They weren't real good about what I considered to be warranty work. I had a couple of issues with a leaking vent and leaks—nothing major, but just little stuff—and they were not real good about it. The last time I called, I realized that my warranty is no longer covered; I wanted them to come out to give me an estimate on getting this right—but they never showed up. They did an OK job when they did my roof. They worked within my insurance parameters, and their cost was good. I had a couple of cracked vents, and one or two little items that they came back and fixed eventually—but there were some other little things that were causing problems. I had a leak that I never could determine where it was coming from; I wanted them to come and troubleshoot it, and they never came out and did that. I would grade the overall experience with a C."
