“One hundred percent yes. I've been with them for a long time. I'd some issues with one of the new heating and air conditioning units that they put in a few years ago. It took forever, but they kept putting in a new one until they got it right. They are awesome. I just praise them. They are an outstanding company. They stand behind their word. They have also done some plumbing for me. I would grade the overall experience with an A. I've recommended them to someone recently. They do follow through.”

We had to replace our furnace, so they came in and gave us a quote on a new gas furnace, and we decided to replace the air conditioning compressor at the time. And they were very good in explaining. They gave us advice and talked to us about our options, explained what was good for us. They came out and replaced the unit, and then they called us to make sure everything was working properly. We have used them for routine maintenance, as well as isolated jobs. I would grade the overall experience with an A. Quality of work—they do great work. Actually, the plumber was out today to do an emergency fix, and he was prompt, he was polite, he's articulate and he knows what he's doing. He offers alternatives. As a woman, he explains things to me in a way that is not condescending, which I always appreciate.”

“We have maintenance done with them. They've been used here in this home before us, which is why I called them, and they were fine. They've done maintenance on air conditioning and heating. We did purchase a heat pump from them two years ago, when ours stopped working. I'd give them an A.”

They are always real friendly, and I've worked with them a while so they kind of know the needs that I have. I have a real good relationship with some of the service technicians. I feel like they give me good advice and they don't try to sell me stuff that I don't need. Specifically, the plumbing work, basically, they do inspections, they replaced my trash compactor and the dishwasher; minor repairs when the toilets were backed up. I think they replaced one toilet. They do maintenance on the HVAC and the humidifier. On occasion, they replaced a part or something like that. I would grade the overall experience with an A. Punctuality—once or twice, they were late, but usually, they are pretty good. Expertise—there was one guy that didn't exactly know what he was doing. Everybody else was good.”

He showed me what I needed and he repaired it at a much lower cost than I thought I was going to pay. I would say they get an A. I have no complaints. He did a great job. He was punctual every time. He had to come back a second time because he had to order a part for me, and he was very punctual that time as well. The second time, he got there early and had the front faucets fixed. I already have recommended them.”

“My landlord called. The gentleman was very helpful, and I have his card. He left me a bill. A pipe burst in the condo over me, and I lost heat. Service Specialties was contacted, I think, through my condo's management service. It was absolutely fine, and if I had a problem again, I would call the same company. The gentleman was very polite. He came quite promptly because the winter was difficult, and I had no heat. He verified the pipe was the cause of the problem, and everything has been issue-free since. They earned an A+.”

They took their time to do the work and then sat down to tell me what they had found. They were looking around the house to see if there were any plumbing needs. “I've used them forever. We have a service agreement with them. They come out, do their thing, get everything cleaned up and cleared out, and move out. I've just used them for heating and cooling, but in addition to the maintenance, one of the things they did recently was a hot water heater. Some fixes actually had to be done because another company had done some stuff with the flue and whatnot. Service Specialties came out and fixed it. They had different brands and styles, and they allowed me to pick from there. I would describe their workers and staff as courteous and timely, and their work is neat. They're an easy company to schedule with, and if I had the need for any more installations or repairs, Service Specialties is the company I would contact. I'd give them an A.”

“They replaced the air conditioning, heater, and hot water tank. It wasn't my first time using them. They actually did regular service on my old furnace. When I bought the house, they had the sticker on the unit of who had serviced it and where it had been purchased, so I just stuck with them. I keep using them because I'm happy with the service. I'm with them right now for regular checkups on air conditioning and heating. I've had no issues, so I would say A+. Not only did they do the installation, but they did it faster than I expected, and they also went ahead and redid the ductwork that went to it because they didn't think it was efficient.”

“Service Specialties is great. We've really had a good experience with them. They come out twice a year to do just a checkup, maintenance thing. They do one at the beginning of summer and one at the beginning of winter. They check to make sure the heat pump outside is OK and the air handler inside is OK. They change the filter if we need it—that kind of stuff. Their workers are great. I really like the technician that's assigned to us. He's a really nice guy, super smart. They actually installed our new system a year ago this month, so we also get a discount with our annual maintenance because we bought the system from them. They're also very highly rated for the Trane system that we bought, so all the people at Trane say they're a good company. They're definitely a grade-A service company.”

“They went above and beyond. They did a good job. I got new kitchen countertops, and they came in and did the prework and the postwork. The quality of what they did was excellent. What I liked best was that they were on time, they did everything right, and everything was clean when they left. They took up the old kitchen cabinets, removed them, removed the stove top and the island, removed the old sink, capped off the plumbing, capped off the gas lines, and hauled everything away. Then they came back after the new countertops were in and reinstalled the gas lines and the new sink. They get an A. They did a really nice job.”
