Somehow my comments didn't post. I've been with M.E. Flow(Airplus) for about 10 years and have never experienced the incompetence to this level before. Technicians would lie on their report and state they have visited but did not. Yesterday, one came by and told me he was at the other garage. I told him he was at the wrong garage and go to the correct one. The line went quiet so I went in the heat to meet him. I texted him the instructions and called several times. All of a sudden I get a text asking how was the service. I once again had to call and the rep said the technician tried to tell me he could not go in the garage. This technician blatantly lied because I couldn't get him to pick up his phone. He could have easily parked on street or answered my text. As I type, a very competent technician is finally fixing my hvac during the hottest days of the year. It's safe the say that M.E Flow has lost my business. Before I get a lukewarm apology from the owner, they need to hold the employees accountable.

I've been a customer for over 10 years, but I can no longer recommend. My last 5 service appointments have all had issues. Twice they cancelled on me the day of and have not arrived within the 4 hour window they provide. Today I had an 8-12 window, tech just showed up at 3:55. No respect for customers' time. Their techs are always nice, and the service is fine, but not worth the scheduling hassles. I regret paying the S250 annual service agreement and will surely explore other options for next year.

I had to fight M.E. Flow to acknowledge an installation problem that was literally sitting in front of them. They installed a Carrier water-source heat pump in my Arlington condo in October 2025. The written scope included a new pan, water safety switch, and warranty/maintenance coverage. After installation, the unit was extremely loud, pushed too close to the wall on the return/filter side, and missing the auxiliary pan listed in the scope. For months, I was told nothing was wrong. They even sent the original installer back to inspect his own work twice, and both times he said everything was fine. It honestly felt like being gaslit over something obvious. Only after repeated calls, photos, follow-ups, and escalation did M.E. Flow finally acknowledge the issue. They came back, added the missing pan, and moved the unit about 7 inches from the wall — proving the original setup was not acceptable. Now they still owe me written confirmation of the warranty extension I was told I would receive because the unit ran for months in that condition. They corrected part of the problem, but I should not still be chasing accountability. People should be aware and concerned over their behavior -- they avoid you and screen you and gaslight you. No decency. No accountability.

Updated review from July 6: Still no return call from any manager. This company is all smoke and mirrors when you have a customer service issue. What a joke and poor excuse for a company. Updated review from June 24: As instructed in the information below, I contacted ME Flow to request to speak with a manager based on my review. I called on June 22 and was informed that the Lorton office manager, John, would return my call later that same day. However, I did not receive a response. I followed up with another call on June 24 in an attempt to reach John again, but I have yet to hear back from either John or Alex. This lack of follow-up and responsiveness reflects very poor customer service. At a minimum, I would expect acknowledgment of my concerns and a commitment to return calls or address the situation. June 12: We have been loyal ME Flow customers for years, consistently signing annual agreements. Unfortunately, our recent experience has been extremely frustrating and has seriously impacted our confidence in your company. On June 9, I called to schedule a plumbing appointment to address moldy caulking around a sink. I specifically requested a morning appointment for June 11 and was confirmed for a window between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM. I also confirmed this appointment via text. On June 11 at 11:45 AM—after waiting nearly the entire scheduled window—I called to check on the status of the plumber. At that time, I was told the arrival window had been changed to 2:30–4:30 PM, which had never been communicated to me. At 4:15 PM, I called again and was told I was the plumber’s “next and last appointment,” which was concerning given my original request for a morning time. Shortly after, I received a voicemail from a manager, Earl Colter, asking me to call him back. When I returned his call using the number provided, someone answered but said nothing and disconnected. Moments later, I received a text stating that my appointment had been moved to June 12, without any prior discussion. This was incredibly frustrating, especially as I had already taken a full day off work and had been waiting for hours. When I called back and requested to speak with Earl, I was told he was unavailable. I spoke with another manager and explained the situation again. The only solution initially offered was a late evening appointment (7:00–9:00 PM) that same day, which, after everything that had already occurred, was unacceptable. Eventually, Earl called me back. I requested reasonable compensation for the significant inconvenience and wasted time—specifically suggesting a $200 discount or coverage of the recaulking cost. I was told the maximum adjustment would be 20%. Given the circumstances, this felt completely inadequate and dismissive of the disruption caused. This experience—marked by poor communication, repeated scheduling failures, and lackluster customer service—has been deeply disappointing. It has eroded our trust in ME Flow to the point where we no longer feel confident continuing to do business with your company. At this stage, we would rather seek service elsewhere, even at a higher cost, in exchange for reliability and professionalism. Given the severity of this situation, I am requesting a prompt and meaningful response addressing both accountability and appropriate resolution.

I chose this company because I had used them previously and had a good experience, but my experience with the new system over the past two years has been very different. I was also enrolled in their “priority” service program, but in practice this didn’t translate to reliable scheduling. On multiple occasions I was given service windows such as 12–5 PM, only for technicians to arrive much later in the evening (7–8 PM). From the initial install, there were problems. The ductwork was done incorrectly and caused condensation that led to water coming through the ceiling, which required them to send technicians and contractors to repair the damage. Over the next two years, I repeatedly reported system issues and was told it was things like “your filter,” framing the problems as maintenance-related rather than system issues. Service visits were then billed accordingly, but the system ultimately had wiring and communication problems that were never properly diagnosed. At no point did I see them use the thermostat’s diagnostic tools or system data to troubleshoot the issue, which would have been expected on a communicating system. These issues affected staging and overall system behavior and should have been caught much earlier. At one point, the system had a significant oil loss event, which led to the heat pump being replaced. After that, I was told no further checks were needed, which is not an acceptable response given the severity of that type of failure. To make matters worse, the replacement heat pump was never properly registered, leaving the warranty at 5 years instead of the expected 10. I had to discover that myself. I was also quoted approximately $1,000 to replace two UV bulbs in the system. The bulbs themselves cost roughly $100 total, and the replacement took only a few minutes per bulb. This pricing did not seem reasonable. The overall pattern was repeated installation issues, misdiagnosis of system problems as maintenance-related, questionable pricing, and lack of follow-through. I’ve since had to escalate through Lennox and move to a different dealer. Based on this experience, I would strongly caution others to verify all work, diagnostics, and documentation.
