He's a nice guy, but I think he has some human interaction issues and stuff. I don't always feel like I get things handled necessarily the way I would like them handled, but overall I'll probably stick with them next year, so I guess that makes them positive. I've definitely used worse companies in the area. It's hard to find good lawncare companies in this area, in my experience. I've been through like three or four of them now. I haven't found anybody that just really thrills me. I’d give them a C+, but I'll probably stick with them next year. I wish they'd make some improvements, but it is what it is. They're a hard one for me. There's a lot to like about the company, but I think I'm just stuck in a bad part. I got stuck with the bad sort of person who is never going to change. I don't want to get somebody fired from their job or get them in trouble, either. I know the guy's a good guy; he's probably trying his best. He’s not a bad guy, but I just think he's not the best for me—but it is what it is. Maybe he works better with other people too. It's not horrible, but it's not great. It's not like ‘Wow.’ If I paid—for what I pay, I'd like them to be really good, and most of the people I do business with, I'm very happy with it. They're just like the best of the group that I'm definitely not happy with. The people at the office are very nice. If they were as good with everything else as they are with punctuality, I'd give them an A. They're very punctual. I think they do know what they're doing as a company, and I think the guy who even comes out here knows what he's doing. It’s a company that I have an odd relationship with. I fired them once, just so you know. I did fire them once, and I went back to them because the people I replaced them with were just that much worse so kind of an odd relationship. I don't have any other businesses that I have that kind of a relationship with.”

You can start small with them with just certain limited services and go all the way up to the top. I did that. I lost my yard one time. “I think their product is pretty decent, but it's a bit of a drive-by. They come and they apply generic fertilizers, but they don't examine the weeds so they go for the 9 percent solution. I know everybody's trying to run a business as lean as they can, everybody's trying to make a profit, but the guys that are doing the seeding and putting down the pesticides never check with the owners. The owner’s wife is always really nice, though. I guess we're happy enough. I'll give them a B.”

“He's not normally—this past year he hasn't been quite as good as he was last year. I'm not sure why, but today he seemed to do a better job than he normally does. Other than today, I'd give him a D. I never get a call. I used to get a call when he was coming. We do a lot of lawn decorating for the season, which means we have stuff out. He comes and seeds around or works around anything we have in the yard so he gets a D for that because he doesn't call to let us know he's coming like he used to. You accept fertilizer on the driveway or grass seed. I'm not that eccentric.”

When I happen to be here when the guy comes I can ask him questions. He tells me how to deal with certain problems. Or if I know I have a particular problem with weeds that I call them and they come back the next day and take care of it. I'd give them an A-. There's been a couple times when I'm going, 'Why did you do it today?' They came out one time when it was raining and it's like why did you do it today?”

They have– I asked them not to herbicide in a certain area in my lawn and they have managed to deal with that so I thought that was quite positive. They're just doing lawn treatment work for me. I've had them for quite a while. We have a rather problematic area because we're very shady so it's not like they can make a 100% wonderful lawn out of our circumstance. But it's important to me that they've been able to manage with our individual circumstances so I'd give them good grades on that. I'd give them a B+. One thing I always felt with lawn companies was– give you an email to tell you they're coming to service so you know you're going to have to water after that. But nobody seems to do that. It would be nice if they did.”

“Super Lawns does very expert work on weeds and things like that, and they take care of the right stuff. My lawn went from looking terrible to looking wonderful with these guys. I would give them my highest score. I talked my neighbor into using them, and she's very happy with them. I signed up for the full treatment, so they put the fertilizer down and they do weed control six or seven times a year. They aerate, and when they aerate, they reseed. That's mostly what they do. They check for lime, and if you need more, they recommend lime. I've had them put down lime twice. I'd give them an A+.”

“In the past I've had a positive experience. My grass is actually in not so great of shape this year. I don't know if it's different diseases. I've got some patches and brown spots in my grass. My grass just doesn't look like how it's looked in the past. I've got some brown patches. The grass is usually fairly thick and fairly green and it's not as thick and it's not as lush and green as it was in the past. It was a lot more weeds this time. They do full lawn services: fertilization, weed control, pesticides and they do heating and aeration as part of the service. Customer service is fine. I'd give them a C for the overall experience.”
