“Great service is hard to find in NOVA but I found in Hambleton Handyman and so, too, has my neighborhood.”

They also provide you with an itemized receipt and charges are extremely transparent; the first hour costs x, every hour thereafter costs y. “The scheduler was terrible. They say your handyman stays with you until your job is done but that’s not the case. Getting someone out here was literally the worst experience I have had. I would never recommend or use them again. The handyman himself was great but the company is run poorly.”

“If I could, I would give them a 0. They were initially very nice and kind, but after the fact they tore out my bathroom completely, promising to get it done in 3 days. After 3 days, I was informed that they didn't know how long it would take. I had to ask them if spacers would be needed for the job. After a complete tear up, they said that there were unforeseen things. And I said after a complete tear up, it was a strict rebuild job. They should have showed-up the second day with all of the materials required to rebuild it, since that's what they are. They are a construction company, right? It is a shower, they have done this before. They would know what it would take to rebuild it.”

“The quality of the work depends on the technician assigned. Some are more knowledgeable and efficient than others. All were courteous and respectful. The main issue I have is the pricing is based on time and materials, not fixed price per job based on an accurate estimate. Thus, if the technician doesn't have the right parts, you are paying for the time to shop and acquire them.”
“We've used HH 3 times now and have been very satisfied with the quality of work and appreciate the professional, personable handymen. Sometimes it's a few weeks to get on their schedule, but once they're there they stay until your to-do list is complete. Only 4 stars instead of 5 because they are a bit pricey, but I prefer to pay for quality work knowing I can trust the job is done properly.”
