“Our neighbor recommended Golden Fence and we will definitely recommend. We received a quote from Octavio last year and he responded quickly last year. We were able to meet again this year to update the quote (which did not change much). Scheduling was delayed multiple times; but were kept informed by Ruby and Mira. Mauricio's team did install and quickly completed the fence line. The gate was delayed but completed by Gonzalo.”

“Communication was excellent prior to signing the contract then it was spotty at best. I would’ve appreciated updates as to when the job might start without having to ask. I would recommend being on site the day of installation. We would’ve liked to have discussed the particulars of our fence and front gate/downspout.”

“Communication is an issue with Golden Fence. While our current installed fence is in "good" condition. Our pre-install and installation process was one of frustration. We were given a call and told installers would be at our home the following morning to begin laying out the fence. The installers randomly showed up that same day of the call to walk out the install and lay the posts. Thankfully, my husband was home but unfortunately he had not been a part of any of this process so did not know what to be looking for. The fence was installed and left with a few foot space between our neighbors fence and our fence. This is now a space that our neighborly children can fit through and do so often, and is perceived by us and our neighbors as a safety hazard. Upon informing Golden Fence of this issue they claimed they did everything they could by walking the fence with my husband (who had no prior contact with this company), had the installers came as they were scheduled I would have been home to complete the walk through and discuss installation. Golden Fence told me they could schedule someone to come remediate the issue but we would have to pay additional $$ to cover this fix. Unacceptable in my opinion. A few weeks after install we noticed a board very loose (to the point our dog can push it with his nose and stick his head through). I immediately contacted Golden Fence with photos to let them know of this issue and they said they'd have someone out to repair the next day. Next day came, and the following and I sent Golden Fence a follow up. I was again promised someone would be out the next day to repair. Needless to say, the fence still has yet to be repaired. Some other gripes we have discovered after the fact but have given up hope on remediation: there is a wire coming from our home they exposed while digging up the holes for fence posts. This wire was known to be buried by our electrical technician prior to the fence install. However, Golden Fence exposed this wire and did not re-bury it upon clean up of their project. This is a huge danger as we have small children and pets in our backyard. VERY disappointing experience considering the amount of money we paid due to higher costs for "material shortages". Would not recommend”

“The sales rep continuously argued with me on how I wanted my fence done. They butchered a major area of concern for me and I had to fight to get it corrected the way I wanted it from the beginning. Luckily there was an older gentleman (perhaps an uncle..?) who stepped in and made things right given the situation. Major shout out to whomever that is. Cant rate better than 2 out of 5 starts for the whole experience.”
