Root Electric

We have used Root Electric a few times now for work in our home. We‘ve gotten our entire electrical panel replaced, light switches split in bathrooms so the light and exhaust fan can be used individually, outdoor outlet covers brought up to code, and electrical wiring done by a different electrician that we needed Root Electric to come in and fix. Every time the Root electrician arrives at our home, they are respectful and efficient. I also really appreciate their patience when I ask questions because they relay the information in a way that’s easy to understand. They also communicate expected arrival times well and have a great warranty policy! We are thankful for Root Electric and we won’t even seek out multiple quotes for electrical work in the future. We’ve found our go-to electrician!

Had a great experience. Good communication, punctual, clean. Happy with the work. Had a main panel upgrade, meter installation/relocation along with a sub panel installed to a detached garage. Everything went smooth and as expected. I appreciate it is a truly family run business.

What can I say...Root Electric comes through again. I needed to replace an outdoor light fixture, install an outdoor security camera and install an accent light fixture in the bathroom. Root Electric did a beautiful job with all three. Listen, if you are looking for top-notch quality work and professional service at a fair price, there is no company I trust more than Root Electric! I've been using them for going on eight years now and will continue to do so. Thanks Root Electric!

We appreciate the excellent service and support of Root Electric Services in recently replacing a ceiling light fixture in our master bedroom closet back in early July 2026. Alex quickly and expertly performed the replacement. His professional expertise and courtesy was superb. We have lived in Woodbridge Va over 20 years and have always used Root Electric. They have never let us down. Root Electric Services is the best! David M

Prompt, polite, and exceptionally professional. The entire experience was first-class, beginning with Noah, who provided a thorough and practical estimate, and Bill Root, who made coordination effortless. Our technicians, Aaron and John, did fantastic work on-site—resolving panel shorts, repairing fixtures, and neatly installing our garage RV setup. They were also incredibly considerate, taking extra time to explain fixture details directly to my wife so she knew exactly which replacement bulbs to order. When a backordered part delayed the final piece, communication remained top-tier; they returned right away once the parts arrived to complete the job cleanly. Root Electric is a trustworthy, high-caliber company that does things right. We couldn't be happier!
