HOMEOWNER REVIEWS SELECTED FROM SURVEYS COLLECTED:

“I liked that they are first class, from the work to the customer service to their program management was probably, by far of all the contractors we've had in and out of our homes over the years, they were really good. I give them very highly. They put in a new shower. They tore out the old, and there were some interesting measurements they had to do, but they got it right, and we were very pleased. I'd grade the overall experience an A+. I've recommended them to everybody I know.”

“It was positive because they helped me make great selections. They did beautiful work. We're just really happy with them. They did an entire bathroom for me, which took a couple of weeks. I'd give them an A grade.”

“I liked that their workmanship was really good—it was perfect. They did an installation. I would grade the overall experience with an A+.”

“We had our major bathroom redone, and they did a great job. No complaints. I would give the overall experience with an A+.”

“I was most impressed with the coordination between all the people in the loop. Nothing seemed to fall through the cracks. And, also, everything they said they would do, they would do. Those are the two top things that I really noticed. And the third thing would just be the quality of the installation itself, including the attention to detail. They rebuilt two full upstairs bathrooms. I would grade the overall experience with an A+. It wasn't a thing I didn't like about this experience.”

“We just contracted for them to come again. They did a total remodel of our bathroom and tiled it. I would grade the overall experience with an A+. I liked the absolute great customer service. Any small issue they were attentive to, and they did great work. Absolutely great work—it was stunning.”

“I liked the professionalism of the whole process and the candid discussion about options, and the work was done superbly. They repaired a leak in the shower. I would grade the overall experience with an A.”

“I had to get some work done urgently, and they squeezed me in. I would grade the overall experience an A+.”

“I liked that it was all in-house, under one roof. I didn't have to go to other supply companies. They had the tile, the faucets, the fixtures, the workmen, the tile guys, the electricians, the plumbers—they had it all. I didn't have to do it. They had it all, and I really appreciated that. I' rate them as an A+. I already have recommended them.”

“I liked that they stayed with it until it was finished and done. I had a problem and they stayed with it. They replaced a countertop in the master bath and faucets. I had trouble with one of the faucets, and they stayed with it until they got it corrected. I would grade the overall experience with an A+.”

“We have another job coming up. There was nothing, in particular, that I liked about them. The first job was a remodel of our master bathroom. I'd rate the overall experience an A+.”

“I liked that they were very professional, and they seemed to understand what I wanted in the design, and it really exceeded my expectations. It was a while ago. They mostly did a tile remodel of one powder room that has a shower in it; and in a second bathroom, they put up tile around the bathtub. I would grade the overall experience with an A+.”

“It was positive because they did a very good job. They did it in a pretty timely manner, and they were very professional working in the home while they were here. They did total remodels of two bathrooms, including the bathroom flooring, which took about several weeks. I would rate the overall experience an A+.”

“Metropolitan did two bathrooms for us. I would grade the overall experience with an A.”

“Good until now. I liked that the workers that came were very efficient, very good workers, worked hard and got done. They stripped the bathroom to the wall, floor boards and rebuilt it. I would grade the overall experience with an A. I did not have any issues, but now we need some minor repairs on what was done.”

“I can't say anything, in particular, that I liked about them. They did a bathroom remodel for me. I would grade the overall experience with an A.”

“We had a very good experience. I liked that they were punctual. They did it quickly. They handled problems as they occurred. They did two bathrooms—one was a full bath and the other was a half bath. They deserve an A for my overall experience.”

“I liked that they were efficient. They were pleasant to work with. Everything came out the way I expected it to. They put in an almost new bathroom in my master bathroom. They also tiled the shower stall. I would give the overall experience an A.”

“It was positive because they are very detail-oriented. They did two bathrooms for me, which took several weeks. It was a long process. I would grade the overall experience with an A.”

“It was positive because they did a good job in a fast time. They did a bathroom for me, which took two days. They did tile, took a tub out and put a shower stall in and they did all the tile. I would grade the overall experience with an A.”

“It was positive because they were on time, did what they needed to do and was very good at it. They renovated a bathroom for us, which took them two weeks to complete. I would grade the overall experience with an A.”

“I liked their service techs. They did a good job. They worked hard and they generally cleaned up pretty well after themselves. That was a good experience. There have been some follow-up things, like a door that was incorrectly painted, and they haven't been able to get back. Those are little things that are aggravating, but other than that, they did a good job. I would grade the overall experience with an A-.”

“It was positive because the workers were very nice. They were very professional. We had just one little issue when the person in charge of demolition forgot to take some precautions, so we had a lot of dust in the house that probably didn't have to be. He put up some plastic sheeting. He was very apologetic about it, and the company helped us to get that cleaned up. We had three bathrooms that were all partially done. There was not a huge amount of construction, but was a lot of granite work and lighting and some cosmetic work. I would give the overall experience an A-.”

“It was positive because they were very prompt and on time and good with their work. They did a bathroom remodel, which took two weeks to complete. I would grade the overall experience with an A-. They also did some tile installation.”

“The people at Metropolitan Bath and Tile were fabulous. They replaced two bathrooms to the bare walls. It wasn't a Band-Aid—it was a major fix. I've been involved in real estate all my life, and these are the finest people I've ever dealt with. I would grade them A+++.”

“I had my tub ripped out and a walk-in shower with a vanity put in. I liked everything. I couldn't go to the showroom, so they sent the representative here. He sat down with me for about two hours and walked me through the process. It worked perfectly. The workmanship was perfect. I would grade them an A. They put a drop cloth down, they vacuumed everything up, and they cleaned up. It was unbelievable. They did it best.”

“They did some bathroom renovations, and they did a perfect job. Their quality of work was excellent. I'd give them an A.”

“The whole bathroom was redone. They did a wonderful job, and it's working fine. They were very customer conscientious, they worked with us, and we have a beautiful bathroom. I would grade them an A+”

“They were wonderful. They renovated the three bathrooms of my in-laws' townhouse. They moved to assisted living. The team was incredible. They were really professional and patient. They were always positive and on time, and they always delivered. When things went wrong, like when the light fixture I chose wouldn't work with the medicine cabinet, they helped me with a solution. I'd give them A+. I have already recommended them.”

“Overall, I loved the final product. They sent out their very best people to do the work, and they were quite efficient and did a very neat job. I had my bathroom completely gutted and redone. Everything was probably an A. I did have one issue. I went into the contract thinking that I was getting custom work, but when it came to choosing a vanity out of their catalog, they had nothing that I wanted. I wound up giving them a design, and they built it for me, so it was fine in the end, but I had trouble with what they were trying to bring me to accommodate the way they work. Overall, it worked out fine in the end, but it took a lot longer because of my desires. I don't do usually make recommendations, but I give the scenario of how the work went for me, and let people decide on their own. I would let people know what happened with me. I wouldn't call it a recommendation, but I would tell them about them.”

“They were perfect. Metropolitan Bath & Tile fixed two bathrooms, and they did a little bit of work in the third. They were neat and punctual, and they never left the job and came back five days later—that's very annoying. They cleaned up and vacuumed the steps every single day, and the finished product is wonderful. I would say they're an A company.”

“It was a master bathroom remodel. There wasn't anything really that I didn't like about the service. The lead contractor was absolutely wonderful to all the other contractors that came in, like the painter, plumber, and electrician. They were very thorough. They showed up when they said they were going to, and their number one priority was making sure that I was pleased with the job. I would grade them an A+, absolutely. I would use them again in the future and recommend them.”

“They did a fantastic job. They gutted and redid two bathrooms. I would rate them as an A+. I'm likely to recommend them, because I used them before.”

“The whole process, the sales process especially, and the guy that came out and did the work were excellent. They did a total remake of our upstairs bath. I would give them an A+.”

“They're fantastic. They did a partial repair on a basement bathroom, worked in an upstairs bathroom, and then in my daughter's house, they totally redid two of her bathrooms. They came when they said they would come, exactly on the date and on the time. They finished when they said they would finish. When they had a problem with something, we figured out how to fix it. They told me when they would be back to fix it, and they came back exactly when they said they would do that. When somebody is working full time, being able to plan is important. I'd rate my overall experience A+.”

“Metropolitan Bath & Tile replaced both of our bathrooms. It was a bath and a half bath. They were here on time. They were efficient, and they did good service. The work is beautiful, and when there were issues, they came back and solved them. I'd say they're A+ company.”

“I had a good experience working with them. They've done two bathrooms for us. They are experts, and they know what they're doing. They have excellent customer relations. They're neat and clean, and they do excellent, accurate work. They stand by their product, and they're a top of the line, professional company. They deserve an A+ for everything.”

“They remodeled two bathrooms. They were very professional. They came when they were supposed to, and everything was beautiful when they were done. When I had a leak come up, they came back and checked it, even though it turned out that wasn't their work. The leak was from something entirely different, but they were always very pleasant and easy to work with. They earned an A for the overall experience.”

“They were pleasant, on time, and tidy, so all around, they were very good. I had a walk-in shower put in one bathroom and some repair work done in another bathroom. I would grade them an A for excellent service.”

“They were on time, on budget, and did beautiful work. They did a total redo of a 1929 cottage bathroom, so it had challenges. I would give them an A rating. I'm getting ready to have them do a half bathroom in the same cottage.”

“The workmanship was excellent. They remodeled a shower bathroom. I would grade them an A+. There is a very good chance that I would recommend them to a friend or family member.”

“They remodeled the bathroom, so they tore everything out, put everything back, and didn't make a mess. It was very good. They did the job in two weeks, like they said, and it turned out good. I have no complaints. I would grade them an A, since they did a good job. I would highly recommend them.”

“They did the entire bathroom from the floor studs to the ceiling and the walls. In general, a couple of things were done that my had to have changed or fixed that were not done well, but they were replaced so that was fine. I wasn't here, so they did take longer than we expected, and I gave them that, because we were away and I was in no rush to have it done. I would say in the end, it was probably an A. I love my walk-in shower. I'm so happy with that, you just don't know. One of the heating units broke, and somebody was here almost as soon as we called to take care of it. Everything was fine and picked up as they went along, so it was fine. We have recommended them.”

“I had one bathroom done once and the other bathroom done twice, so they did three different bathrooms for me. I was pleased with it. I would grade them an A for their excellent work. If they weren't great, I wouldn't have had them back the third time.”

“They did a wonderful job. It was a one-man operation from beginning to end, and the guy was very meticulous and very good craftsman. They tore a bathroom out and put a new one in. I would rate them as an A company.”

“They renovated one bathroom. I liked that they did the job quickly. They did excellent craftsmanship. I'd give them an A. I have already recommended them to a friend.”

“They did a bathroom remodel for me. It was excellent work, and I have no complaints.”

“They did a bathroom remodeling. They did excellent work, with no complaints.”

“I had a leak in the bathroom on the second floor under the faucet in the washstand. I had them come over a total of three times, maybe twice and the leak never went away. I still have it, but everything else is fine. To me, it's something wrong with the materials and not the workmanship. That's my guess. My warranty has run out, and I still have the problem. I have a pan underneath and I just leave it under there. I'm not happy with it. If I ever want to sell the house, I would have to tell them all the problems I have in the house. I would like to get it fixed, but I don't know if I would call them because they failed 2 or maybe 3 times. I don't know if I can ask them, because the warranty has run out. That's my problem. Everything else is fine, but as time goes on, and I see this problem it isn't fixed, I may have to call the plumber. They may not have the parts because they used pretty avant-garde parts. A regular plumber may have to put a different kind of pipe in there. I'm going to have to call them. I'd give Metropolitan Bath & Tile an A, because the bathroom is actually beautiful. Everything is fine except for this problem. As far as recommending them, that's the problem, because they didn't fix this.”

“They did a great job. I have no complaints whatsoever. This was the third job they've done for me. Over the years, they've done my two full baths, and this time they did my powder room. They were wonderful and, in fact, that is why I chose them for my third bathroom.”

“They responded promptly to my call, and they've always been courteous. They installed some bathrooms for me. They've always been on time. They are very neat in their work, and their workmanship was outstanding in my opinion. I'd say they did an A-level job.”

“Metropolitan Bath & Tile did a bathroom remodeling for me. I'd rate my overall experience with them an A-. The only complaint at all we had was the materials management, in terms of timeliness throughout the project, could have been a little bit better. Otherwise, the whole experience was really topnotch. We would go back to them for another similar project without any reservations.”

“They remodeled the whole bathroom last year. They did the entire bathroom, flooring cement walls everything. They're great, first and foremost. It seems they are all in house, and they don't subcontract like other companies do. They're very skilled, polite, and clean in their work. Once they start a project, they finish it, and they don't leave you hanging. I had a couple small issues, and they came out and took care of the issues when they had a chance. I wouldn't expect them to stop their other projects and run right over to me, but they put me in their schedule, and came over to me, and took care of the issues. I would not expect anyone to stop their current projects. They stayed with me until the technician was available, and he called me and came when he said he was coming. I would grade overall experience A+”

“They did a good job. We did the whole bathroom redone. I would grade them as an A+”

“I definitely had a positive experience with them. They replaced a small bathroom under a staircase in my basement. They did the demo, and then put in a shower, new floor, new vanity, and new sink. It was very good. They deserve an A+. They completed the work faster than they had estimated, and we're really pleased with it.”

“They redid three bathrooms for me. They told me what they would do, when they would do it, and they did it very well. I would grade the overall experience as an A. I have already recommended them.”

“They did very good work. All I knew him by was Paul, and he did a heck of a job. They replaced the whole bathroom, ripped the old one out, and put a new one in. I would grade them an A, no complaints. It was very good. The young man who did the job basically did it alone, but he was very good. I would recommend them to anyone.”

“For the most part, it was very good. They're prompt and clean, and the workmen are spot on and very good. They redid three bathrooms. I would grade them an A for the overall experience.”

“It was a complete bathroom remodel. They did a great job. They followed the contract, everything was on time and on schedule, and we liked the bathroom. I would grade them an A.”

“Metropolitan Bath & Tile came in, did the job, and left. They renovated my bathroom, tore everything out, and put it back in. I don't have any complaints. I would grade them as an A company. The guy came in and did a job. He made a dusty mess, but they had to do that to do the job, so they were good. They were as clean as they could be. wWhen you tear out old fixtures, you're going to get dust. They put plastic down so it wouldn't get all over my house. I would very likely recommend them.”

“They redid my bathroom. They were very professional and did good quality work. I would grade them an A.”

“It was a bathroom remodel and a tile installation. It was done on time, they showed up on time, and they kept on schedule. They were polite and thorough. I would rate them as an A.”

“I had the bathroom shower redone. They were very helpful in the recommendations that they made, and they were very conscientious about the work that they did. I would grade them an A.”

“Really, the only problem was when they were doing my mom's walk-in shower, they didn't use a meter, because the doors don't close all the way. If you try to shut them, they just go back because they are crooked. The tile is fine. The light fixture in my bathroom, because I have a dial for a dimmer switch, doesn't work. It makes buzzing noise, and for a while there it would just go off, and then we have to turn it back on. Everything else is fine. I would grade them an A overall for the guy. It's not an A+ because of the lighting and the doors. He could have used a meter and it would have been fine.”

“They did a good job. It was a total bathroom redo. I would grade them an A.”

“Nobody complained. It was bathroom work. They remodeled the bathroom. I felt that they were experienced in just dealing with baths.”

“I had a good experience working with them. They totally redid the bathroom. They understood my wants. They didn't try to sell me too much. They all spoke English very well. They cleaned up after themselves each day.”

“They did a good job. They did a bath renovation. I'd say they're an A.”

“They did bathroom remodeling. It's not complete yet, but so far, they get an A.”

“They did bathroom remodeling for me. I'd give them an A rating.”

“Metropolitan Bath & Tile did bathroom remodeling for me. I'd give them around an A. We have already recommended them.”

“They remodeled the bathroom, and they did tile installation. I'd give them an A.”

“They did a complete redo of the bathroom. They just took a little longer than I wanted it to take. They did it all, had their own people, and the quality of the work was good. It just seemed to me that construction generally takes longer than it should. They had to take out the floor and put in new insulation in the floor and the walls. They did good service, so I'd give them an A. They were on time and definitely clean.”

“I liked their professionalism and their ability to keep on schedule. I liked the quality of their workmanship. They remodeled our shower. I'd give them an A rating.”

“They did a bathroom remodel for us. The whole experience was very good. It is a very good product, and they stand by their work. They are very receptive and open to questions and conversations. I'd grade them as an A.”

“They remodeled my master bath. I liked their service and everything that they did. I liked their workmanship. They get an A from me.”

“The job was very well done. It was professional, and they did a really good job. I will probably be getting another bathroom done in a year or two, and when that happens, I will let them know. I'd rate them as an A. They left it a little messy, but with just a little cleanup it was fine.”

“They delivered the product that they promised, and I had no drama with it. They redid a master bath. They're an A company.”

“They worked on the second floor bathroom. Some of the painting that was done could have had a little more care. On the whole, I'm quite satisfied with their work. I would grade them an A- for the overall experience. We had a snowstorm that slowed things down, and I can't fault Metropolitan Bath & Tile on that. I would recommend them.”
