Most of the time spent was waiting to drain the tank below the level of the valve. I would have agreed to 150.00 due to labor but not 500.00."

Bitter in that a recent valve adjustment service to my generator resulted with the the service tech leaving the generator breaker switch off.with the power outage this weekend, the transfer switch did not enable generator power to the house. Sweet in that a phone call with Christian, an outstanding tech, isolated the issue quickly during a phone call."

When they identify repairs that may be needed the cost of their estimates are usually twice as high as other reputable service companies in the area. The installer was argumentative, and aggressive in his comments and demeanor and when the work was finally completed to the satisfaction of the inspector, he left our house with the unit turned off. "I have being using Parrish for years so don't know another service to compare them to. I don't know if other companies try to see additional products. My number # complaint is that they always recommend a service(s) that are nice to do, but not necessary. Usually they cost $500+. I believe in PM, but not in fixing things that aren't broken. This time they wouldn't put in my replacement humidifier filer because they want me to take out a another contract for my humidifier. This is something new."

"We have been dealing with them here at this location for the last 2 1/2 years. We even dealt with them at our previous home and we were there for about 30 years. They've always been trustworthy and you can always count on them, to be honest with you and upfront. I've never had to really worry about it. We noticed that each time Parrish came out for our service, two weeks later there is something goes wrong and our system requires repair."

"The service technicians are very pleasant. They're punctual when they say they're going to be here, but the work hasn't always been completed in a timely manner. Sometimes they don't have the appropriate parts. Different technicians have different opinions on what needs to be done. They've done air conditioning, humidifier, de-humidifier. They did a plumbing check once or twice. I would say a B-. Better on the plumbing, less so on the heating and air conditioning."

"The people who did the actual work were fine. But I had just one complication after another with the front office. I was not able to get information and not able to get invoices. I had home insurance people come to the house to see if any of the damage would be covered and the office kept saying 'oh we can't talk to the insurance agents.' Whereas the insurance agents said they talk to contractors all the time. And then we got the bill there was a rough estimate and then there's the work that was actually done. So, we paid for the work that was actually done and the rough estimate had been $15,000 more because they wouldn't know until they opened up the walls. So, then we kept getting bills saying oh you owe us all this money. And I attached emails, I sent all the information back to the office to show that no, we've paid everything in full, we don't owe them any money. And we never even got any kind of acknowledgement, not even 'Gee, I'm sorry, it was a mistake.' Nothing. Nothing. We had this water coming up from the floor and we had no clue from where in the house so they had to take down the bathroom wall, put underground cameras in to find out where the pipes had broken or collapsed or whatever, so it was a lot of work. And we were happy with the actual people who came and did the work. They were polite, they explained what they were doing, and they cleaned up. But dealing with the office was a nightmare. The overall experience I would call a D."

And so, when we set that up, they're reliable, they always call ahead of time and they are on time. "They came out and did their twice-a-year inspection. They've done everything. I've been using them for over 30 years. They've replaced a water heater. They did come out and check and make sure that nothing was there, gave some recommendations; but I'm going to say C just for the fact that they never cleaned the line so the water drainage could come up and they never did it and that was part of their check and maintenance. In the attic, all that water accumulated and went off to the side of the house which left a big spot on the side of the house. That was pretty poor on the plumbing, A/C guy. I never made a complaint or anything like that because the house was being rented so I just kind of upped and stopped the service. I never had electrical issues. I know for the plumbing, they did an inspection, there was nothing major, but there were some recommendations about some of the toilets that needed to be replaced but other than that, it was good. It was professional."

"It was a hideous experience. Parrish Services were phenomenally incompetent and they overcharged me terribly. They clearly didn't know what they were doing. I had to guide them through the process myself. It was ridiculous. I felt like I was in some kind of absurd situation. Two clueless people came and I'm telling them what to do and they charged me $800 for that. They needed to diagnose a leak and I already knew where the leak was, I showed them the leak and they just bumbled around, they made a lot of holes in my wall where they shouldn't have been and they tried to use their fists to make holes. And then they charged me $850. It was just a ridiculous amount for those two to fool around, to tell me what I knew from the beginning. I just needed it certified. They didn't ruin my house, they were just incompetent, so C-. They said they would come at some point and they came at some point; There was any particular time involved."

The price was a little bit adsorbent to me but it is what it is; you're between a rock and a hard place; they have something you need and you can't get around it so you pay the price. But the service was fine, I have no complaints about the services. The prices were high, I thought. They did some work on my well. I'll just give them a B just because of the price. I haven't had any problems."
