“They did the work just fine. There was some additional work that needed to be done, but we were charged separate. Basically, just a cleaning and charging the air conditioner. I'd give them a B. They were fine. We chose another company for the other work that needed to be done. No real complaints. I really wouldn't recommend them. ”

“They just came and diagnosed my upper valve system. They were professional. They didn't talk about anything other than what the problem was. They let me know what the upfront cost was. I'd give them an A+. They were good. I'd be very likely to recommend them. ”

“The last time they came they were checking the thermostat. He took care of the problem, and he was pleasant. Overall, I would give them an A. They do call after every visit, which is fine. There's also a sales pitch about their extended coverage. I don't appreciate that. ”

“I had my annual check-up for my A/C unit, and they came out to do that. They're always very detailed and explain how the system is doing, and if I need to do anything else. They give me a list of things that I need to do if I need to do anything. They're just very informative. It was good. I'd give them an A+. ”

“I think they are fine. The only negative I got about it is you pay monthly by credit card. If you get a new credit card they just stop collecting the money. They don't contact you and say do you have a new credit card. That has happened to me two or three times. I would grade them a B. ”

“They didn't really help me, which is why I ended up cancelling it. Basically, it was leaking upstairs. It went through the ceiling. Then I had them come out there and they said they really couldn't help me. I had to get a plumber out there and do all of these other things. So, because I was paying monthly and making those payments, I thought it would cover pretty much everything. We're selling the house anyway and we got it resolved, but that's why I cancelled it. So, I'm just being honest. I'd give them an C-. ”

“Good sales individual. The installers where quick and hard working. More time should be placed on a final sweep of the work area. The unit is loud. I believe this is related to the plastic base the outside unit sits upon. The extra intake vent added during my isolation was needed to provide more circulation. The vent tubing in the attic was placed between the boxes of materials in storage and the exit stairs. This was quite inconvenient to move the boxes without disturbing the air intake tube. I wish I had been given the option to move these boxes before the tube was installed. Although a secondary support ladder was used at some point in the installation the ladder attached to the house has not worked the same as it did before the installation began. The new unit was shifted closer to the master bedroom and is much louder than the old unit. When the unit kicks on there is a very loud click heard throughout the house. When the unit starts up there is a dimming of lights throughout the house. This did not take place with our old unit.”

“I like having the monthly plan with One Hour A/C and Heating because I've had a couple of situations where I've been out of A/C or Heat, and when I call One Hour A/C and Heating they are always there for me A.S.A.P. (the same day) and are so professional! These are the types of people I like to work with. It is so worth it paying a monthly fee every month for A/C and Heating. Thank you!”

“I  have lived in my home for 1 years. This is the first time anyone ever serviced my air conditioner totally and completely. They took the units apart and cleaned the coils, checked the Freon, and insured every part of the unit was in good working order. “Have used before, and a repeat customer. This service call was solely to check A/C unit on advise of Allstate Insurance due to flooding. Unit needed replacement was documented, but nothing about the ‘flooding’ issues the A/C went thru, so it was declined by Allstate. Tech wasn't Friendly, and hard to communicate with. I have a service plan with your company, and have always been satisfied, but in this case, I feel it was below your standards of customer service.”

What should have been a frustrating experience with a broken A/C turned out to still be positive because of the great customer service I received from everyone at this company. “The worst experience I have had with a service tech. He was a con artist! He suggested I needed to have someone come out for a new system and tried to show me icing on my inside unit which it never had. I asked for a tune up and told him if it was something major I had a Home warranty!! He continued to push deficiencies. It was April and still cool the next day it was warmer so I turned on my unit- it wasn't operating properly at all, no fan running so essentially the unit was freezing up. I pulled the cover off to see what I could see and he had unplugged the fan live wires hang out. They sent me a survey and I blasted them on the sorry job and the con artist they sent to do a simple task and screwed with my unit to possible cause a fire hazard and ruin my A/C. Then the MGR called apologetic-I asked for him to come see my unit to see the sorry job. He said he would send a senior tech on a Sunday- I never heard anything so I called and their dispatch they knew nothing of someone coming to my home. It was Sunday I wasn't waiting all day! Then the lady at dispatch tried to tell me a load of crap, she was hateful and rude, by then I was done with the whole ordeal and refused to talk to her further and asked that she have a manager call. NOTHING was done. Oh and the tech also claimed I was short 3 pounds of Freon and it cost $88 dollar per pound he was trying to sell when the A/C has always been just fine in cooling.”

“I have purchased two units, two years apart. My second unit came with a shorter labor warranty without any warning or offer to extend. The unit broke twice, second time right after that shorter labor warranty expired. The manager worked with me to limit the cost, but it costed me $9+ anyway. The second unit, although smaller capacity, has a larger filter unit, without any good reason. I need to re-stock two different filter types. One of the installation technicians let the wire run through a sharp edge of the outside unit. One day the wire finally cut through the isolation and shorted to the ground. The technician tried to convince me, that the mice chewed the isolation, but when I went out and checked, it was obviously not the case; I paid for that visit anyway.”

“Your service personnel have been great. When we needed a new A/C we called and One Hour arrived. I was shocked! When they installed the A/C and ducts they did not hooked up my microwave - said there weren't enough plugs. There were plenty of plugs when they came. I had to get an electrician and that cost me $2,5! Your filters are extremely expensive! The last time THEY CANCELLED TO COME HERE - another customer did not have a new unit and needed service immediately!!!”

“One Hour provided very prompt service to my home. They were the most willing to come out and assist my family when the A/C went out. Their fix was done in a professional and timely manner. However there were a few bumps along the way, One Hour needed to come back two additional times to properly ensure the drain line from my new A/C unit were working because they were installed incorrectly at first. All in all my wife and I are happy with them as service professionals, and would use them again.”

“Wrong diagnosis to upsell the product. The owner was knowledgeable enough to identify his wrong tactics. Realizing this, the tech, changed the smaller part for free when the owner advised that he would take second opinion. Tried to sell the product for 5 times the cost when searched in the internet. Had the same issue before, was fixed for 2 bucks and this tech was advising that it would cost $95. Quite unethical.”

You do have to pay a premium for such qualities, but the experience was quite satisfactory under the circumstances. We SHOULD have availed ourselves of the offer of a loaner A/C while waiting the few days for our new units to arrive.”

“The technician who came to my home accidentally knocked/kicked a pipe in our attic and caused a major water leak. I understand it was an accident, but he blatantly denied any wrongdoing and said he was not responsible. This is very disappointing coming a company that prides itself on customer service. We plan to discuss this with the general manager and get this resolved appropriately.”

“I signed up for a maintenance program. What I got is a sales program. Every time One Hour air comes to my house, all of the sudden nothing in my unit works correctly. Then when I say I can't afford the fix, all of the sudden everything works again. I will be cancelling my maintenance program because it is clear all One Hour air wants to do is sell me a bunch of unnecessary crap.”
