My wife and I really enjoyed working with Matt and his team at Window Nation. They were incredibly helpful throughout the window selection process, clearly explaining the benefits of the different options they offer and helping us find the perfect windows for our home as we continue with our renovations. The installation crew was outstanding. They put in a 14-hour day to remove, install, and cap all 16 of our windows in a single day. They worked well after sundown, using headlamps to finish installing the screens and clean up every bit of debris. I can’t say they missed a thing! They were also extremely courteous and did their best to work as quietly as possible while my wife and I worked from home. Their hard work, professionalism, and attention to detail really stood out. I would highly recommend this installation crew for any project!

I had a great experience with Window Nation! John Doran was very helpful and straightforward, to work with from start to finish. The installation crew were outstanding that were led by Mark the leader. No short cuts whatsoever. I’m not impressed by contractors, but this crew was professional and stood out. In just two days, they removed old rotted windows (17) to be exact. Installed new ones, leveled and insulated everything properly, matched the existing capping, and even fixed the shed door that was falling apart-now it’s perfect. Everything was done seamlessly and with great attention to detail. They also cleaned up afterwards. I highly recommend them. I have seen windows replacement in my neighborhood in time that I have lived here. Nothing like what Window Nation did for my home. The neighbors were watching and asking the contractors who they were. Hopefully someone on the fence as I was realizes that you get what you pay for. Thank you for reading this review. ☺️

Extremely frustrated with Window Nation!! From the start, there were major communication issues. My initial deposit check was lost when my sales rep left, causing delays with no proactive communication. I gave my deposit check on October 14th and I was not told about the lost check until December 1st. I placed my order in October 2025 and paid fully in January 2026, yet my project is still not complete. A week after installation, a window actually fell out, setting off my alarm and sending police to my home, which was incredibly stressful. Since then, getting it fixed has been a nightmare with poor communication, long delays, and being told a replacement part was ordered when it wasn’t. I’ve had to repeatedly follow up for updates instead of the company taking responsibility. This has been a months long, stressful experience for a very expensive purchase. Despite multiple errors and ongoing issues, I’ve received nothing and no real resolution or compensation. I would not recommend based on my experience!!

"Salesman did not mark windows to be replaced correctly and this led to confusion. The confusion was recognized immediately. The salesman refused to meet me at the home to walk through to ensure that no mistakes would be made. I next notified the salesman when the installation crew arrived and advised that they did not have a window for the master bath. I knew something was wrong. I called the salesman to advise. He said that he would look into it and call me back. He never called me back. Several days later I called him again. He told me that he was on vacation and asked that I called him back the following Tuesday to remind him. Windows that were supposed to be replaced were not and windows that were not supposed to be replaced were. Nobody at Window Nation help me with this problem The problem was ignored. All of my efforts were wasteful. The salesman was disrespectful on the telephone and tried to blame me. It was his carelessness that led to this situation. I do not anticipate that it will ever be resolved."

"Sales experience was very pleasant. Jim Doyle was very professional and made several helpful recommendations. We signed the contract on 9/24/25. After that, it took almost three weeks before the measurement tech showed up - much longer than originally indicated. Installation was scheduled for 11/19. The installation team arrived as planned, but it turned out that many of the measurements had been made incorrectly and the installation was cancelled. New measurements were taken and windows were successfully installed on 12.20. The entire process took three months."

"The installation took much longer than expected, and there was no communication from the on-site installers. Every time I asked if everything was OK, I was told Yes. They were scheduled to arrive between 8am and 10 am and be done by 5 pm. They arrived early, a little after 7:30, and didn't finish till after 8pm. There were only two installers. The storm door installation also took much longer, and I'm still not sure that the hydraulics are working correctly. I was given a small container of "touch up" paint for the storm door and when I asked why, the installer pointed to a small area on the door frame that had paint scratched off. I'm not sure if this happened during the installation or if it was there before. If it happened during the installation, not sure why it wasn't corrected before they left. They removed the blinds for me - which I know isn't standard practice but it was agreed to during the sales contract. One set of blinds is missing the opener. Another set was dropped during replacement and is scotch-taped back together. For several days I still found small pieces of wood and plastic throughout the house, and although I did see the installers with"

"My experience with Window Nation was good for the most part. The estimating process was thorough and the individual was knowledgeable and spent time going through options with me. The installers were great and completed all ten windows in about 6 hours. They fully cleaned up afterwards and then I was walked through the process of opening and closing the windows as well as the full tilt in features on the top and the bottom. At this point I was ready to give them 5 stars, but I had no confirmation of the actual quality of the windows yet. I always wait until I can fully use and operate any product before I write a review. The day after the install it was quite cold and I noticed that the house felt colder than usual at the same temperature. I figured the sealant on the windows would take a full day or two so I wasn't concerned. It has now been almost 3 weeks since the install. My house is definitely colder and I have had to set my thermostat up a degree to be the least bit comfortable. I have had my heater checked and it is not the problem. My old windows were solid wood windows and these are vinyl but supposedly good quality. When I place my hand on the new windows, they are definitely colder than my remaining wood windows. Thus the new windows do not repel the cold as well as my 18 year old windows do. While I could not afford to replace 10 windows with solid wood windows, I at least expected the vinyl windows I bought to provide a similar weather protection and insulation."

"Your company installed a sliding glass door in my kitchen and garage door going out to the garage. Sliding glass door is very difficult to open. Doesn't slide has to be yanked. I called Customer Service and also your service department. and asked for help to get somebody to come look at it and he said somebody would call me. They have not. It's a week later. I have spoken to my sales representative who gave me the quote for the doors Jon Stupar and he's the one that gave me the numbers to call and he told me that I should expect calls this week. I have not. Get in touch with me because his door is way too hard to open. It shouldn't be. I haven't heard from him yet and that was last week on Friday, November 21."

"We had an issue with window trim after windows were installed. However, after installation we didn’t get any help from our sales rep or customer rep even after calling multiple times. Our sales rep would only respond once after miltiple attempts to tell us that service ticket has been created which turned out, as we later found to be not true. After a week of trying to resolve the issue via sales rep we called the support line and we were told that they cannot help us. However after multiple calls they gave us phone number of local Windows Nation office who were then able to actually create a service ticket and setup an appointment to fix our trim. We are highly disappointed with our experience with Window Nations."

"I had a terrible experience with Window Nation. The sales rep, David Pawson, misled me on several important points—including the install team rebuilding three specific windows I requested, that each flashing would be professionally molded to fit the windows, and that a project manager would be on-site during installation. Most importantly, I was promised no subcontractors. The only reason I chose Window Nation was because I was assured of this, yet subcontractors are exactly who showed up. The subcontractors caused significant damage. They broke my indoor trim and, instead of replacing it, filled everything with caulk that looks sloppy and unprofessional. In my bedroom, they cracked the wall around the window. Several frames are broken, missing chunks of wood, and don’t even connect properly. My siding was also damaged during installation. Despite multiple service visits from Window Nation, the problems remain unresolved. My windows are overloaded with caulk, large gaps are simply filled instead of properly fitted, and the flashing does not align like I was promised. When I raised these issues, I was told to paint over the mess myself so it would “look better.” That response was insulting and completely unprofessional. I feel deceived by the false promises, devastated by the final result, and frustrated that I’m still left with poorly installed, damaged windows."

The head contractor Brian consulted me with regards to a difficulty with the fit of the newly installed front door and he came up with a solution regarding new interior molding that worked perfectly. All of that was great and the quality of the windows are a definite upgrade. However there are two things I'd like to mention: one that is not correctable and one that is. The one that is not correctable is that I noticed the day after installation that much of my front landscape plantings had been crushed by being stepped on and possibly ladder placement. I'm also finding screws and pieces metal flashing in those flower beds and the contiguous grass. I can understand and accept that with so many workers, working so quickly that some damage to landscaping occurs and some cleanup gets missed. Again, it was a big job, but I was disappointed. But it's the second issue that needs to be corrected. The day of the installation was grey and dreary, and somewhat rainy. When the crew was finished, Brian, the crew chief, showed me the completed work. He did tell me that since the crew had taken out our front bay window, there was some siding that needed to be replaced, but that they were able to get a close match. When I saw it it was dusk and dreary and it appeared to be a match. The next day my wife went outside and called my attention to the fact that the new siding stood out from the old. This was disappointing as we had leftover siding in our basement but nobody asked us if we did. As such, I sent an email to the customer experience address and attached a picture of the siding mismatch and asked about a possible solution. That was two weeks ago and I have not received a reply. Again, we have leftover original siding, but I'm not sure there is enough. Please advise."

"I did not get the screen door I thought I was going to get, however going over the paperwork I did sign for what they gave me, so of course I am very disappointed. The steel door is beautiful but you can see light coming thru at the top right angle corner. The threshold that was installed makes it difficult for us to get in the house, and the bead of caulk was sloppy….however the wood frame they put around it is beautiful. I don’t like that once you open the deadbolt you have to turn the key upside down to open the handle knob. I am satisfied with the windows but I have an issue on one of them: I thought I was going to get the small window sill replaced and they just filled it with caulk. If I had known they were going to do that I would have filled it myself with wood filler. I asked the man not to touch the loose wall paper under this sill, as I had someone coming out to fix that….. they caulked it at the seam which I asked for it not to be touched. I was told they would have scaffolding to go over my patio awning…. They did not and wound up stepping in my awning. It is old and brittle so luckily he didn’ break it fall thru it."

The only issue I had is that there were 2 pieces of "trim" that was not used. I wasn't certain if the installers as missed something. I have been assured that the pieces were not needed for the installation. I am waiting for the colder months to see how warm my house will feel."

I'm trying to figure out what happened between the first and second time. If the price dropped, I don't understand. Did they gouge me the first time and make it right on the second time? I'm asking myself why only four windows with the buy-two-get-two-free deal were $10,000.00. This time, I bought the windows on sale, and they did talk about a senior citizen discount and other ways to save, but at the end of the day, I'm looking at four windows for $10,000.00 versus six for $5,700.00. Something isn't right. It's not like I got a free gift. I didn't get a free gift."

"Love the windows hated the service. Professionals when they call the windows. It was very incand even had a couple of gaps. They left. Glass and installation in my yard. The shims were bent and damaged in one spot and when they installed the patio door it came with a foot lock and I asked for it and then star said. It didn't come with one and when I told him I did he said oh, it did and he pulled it out of his pocket. And I said why didn't you install it? He said it would be difficult because of my flooring. I said so why didn't you even approach me or tell me about it? And many other problems."

"Comparing the windows I had vs these new windows, the old ones were definitely built better. The new ones are thinner material. The part of the window that you lift to raise it and lower it isn’t firmly attached to the window. It doesn’t feel tight to the window when you move it up and down. I feel like over time that could be an issue.I like the overall look of the new black window but disappointed in quality. Also the black trim around the window was never caulked on the sides. I was told by the guy that measured for the new windows, the shutters would be removed when they install the windows. That way they could caulk properly all the way around. The shutters were never removed and caulking stops at the shutters. I have since pulled the shutters off and noticed this."

My salesperson, John Doran, was friendly, very informative, and arrived on time for our appointment. He walked me through the various options & I was kept informed as the windows were being made. Once the window were complete, I didn't have any issues scheduling installation. The team showed up on time and had all 9 windows installed in about 4 hours. There was minimal mess and they cleaned up before they left. The windows look great and I no longer feel a draft coming through any window. I'm pleased with the end result and would recommend the company to anyone looking to replace their windows."

"We were quite satisfied with the price, service, and installation of the replacement windows. I have not one thing to complain about. The three-man crew came to work and they did. The six old windows were gone in 40 minutes. Total time on site was 3.5 hours from arrival to squeaky clean new windows. I'm an engineer whose wife says is "picky." I found no flaws in any part of their end result. The crew left no debris, inside or out, were very careful of doors and walls while carrying tools and new windows through the house and they tracked nothing in on the floors. We are only now getting cold enough weather to test the windows themselves but early indications are looking very good."

"We had Ryan Bird from Window Nation come out and quote our 104 year old home for 15 new windows. Our existing windows were original to the home and left so much to be desired. Broken, drafty, some of them didn’t open at all. Let me tell you, he made this process so easy. His presentation? Riveting. The slides? Informative. His in-depth product knowledge? Impressive. He left no question unanswered. Understandably, we were concerned about the cost, but he walked us through the financing process and we had an approval in minutes. It’s an investment for sure, but I feel like we got the most for our money here. Ryan was available by phone for any and all questions leading up to our install. We had a professional measurement done within a few days and sent to production. Our initial lead time for installation was 8-10 weeks, but we were fully installed in about 7 weeks. The install went so smoothly, the crew was super efficient and respectful of our space. The after shots are amazing, I don’t think we expected them to look so good. I’ve already written a book here, but I just can’t say enough great things about this company. If you’re on the fence about it, just do it."

There was a small hole in one of our screens we noticed after they left and it not an easy process to get it scheduled for repair. When the repair guy came he kept saying we had the wrong window. That was your job to communicate what he needed to bring. He was mad he had to restring the screen at the end of the day."

After further inspection I would have preferred that the molding for the window been placed flush with the perimeter of the window for a cleaner more professional look. I am not sure about the level of customer service that will be provided especially because Harley Magden reached out on the morning of Thursday 08/22/2024 to inquire about my experience and the same comment was relayed, I have yet to hear back from anyone. The installer promised that the window would be fine and no warranties would be voided."

The installers made an attempt to clean the windows but did a lousy job. Never heard from the install manager. A week later 8/13/2024 I contacted customer service and they said they would email the install manager about my complaint and if he did not get in touch with me the next call them back. Today no call from the install manager, so I contacted customer service again. It depends on who you talk to you and get a different story."

"I had Anderson windows put in 2 yrs ago and when they measured, the windows fit in snug and tight. I then picked Window Nation, windows were measured and when I saw the large gaps when they put the window in, I was appalled. There is so much filler and I asked for the trim to be put around the window inside and they did, but they pushed the windows in flush with inside wall because they said the space 1-2 inches on inside they couldn't put wood. You can cut wood in any size you need. When they said they would make windows flush with inside wall, I thought ok, they are the experts, so they know what to do. Well I don't like all the left over pieces of wood that was used to fill in all the space. I am very concerned about leaking, bugs getting in, the security of the windows in high winds, etc. I have one more side of the home to replace windows and frankly I am leaning towards Anderson Windows because they know how to measure and make a tight fit. Their windows stay in place without any nailing, not Window Nation, the window falls out unless someone is holding it. The gaps are huge top and sides, not professional at all. Plus was not told the screens don't slide. I don't know how to take them out to clean the outside of my windows?"

"The installation went well. The crew was very efficient. They cleaned up after themselves both inside & outside the home. Some windows had to be washed to remove fingerprints and such. We did notice multiple dents/gauges on several of the painted walls after they left that we need to touch-up with paint. Unfortunately we no longer have some of the colors. Being able to open the windows & sliding glass door with a minimum effort is amazing! The builder grade windows and door that we replaced were drafty and almost impossible to open. We are looking forward to seeing a significant drop in our energy bill."

"23 out 23 windows were defective, took multiple return trips to get windows working, part issue was supplier defect, and installation team not trained on window or installation manager not trained or familiar. Luckily the window branch repair techs had seen the issue and fixed the same day. There was an issue the windows weren't labeled for which room although tagged for which room they were incorrect, had to request crew install shims as didn't for the first few windows just used a screw. install crew said windows were cheap and didn't like working with them and shouldn't expect them to work well after installation. The warranty changed and the crew was subs and the first subs were not licensed in nj and wouldn't provide insurance. the manager that handles installs said they were going to provide but once I showed them the state law they found a new sub to do the work . during the install there were issues and they sent up an install maker to review and he looked and left when I questioned if the windows were installed correctly amd noted items like missing shims or lack or spray foam or exterior water proofing. The windows do work well and have held up, the exterior trim finisher for aluminum work was done well with care and detail. clean up was good. crew could have used 2 more people."

A great disappointment is the fact that I asked the first person who came to the house to present Window Nation to make sure my air conditioners would fit into two of the new bedroom windows. At my request he made an additional trip upstairs for the purpose of measuring the units (evidently Dae Chang) and assured me that they would fit. I also told the man who called me on the phone to arrange an installation date about my concern and he assured me that Dae Chang was very exact with his measurements. Unfortunately the air conditioners do not fit. The width is sufficient but the height of the conditioners is not. As a result I have already had to purchase one new unit and intend to purchase a second."

"I would definitely recommend window nation to my friends and family. The presentation and sales rep was so flawless. I didn’t feel the need to seek out other estimates. And then after I heard about other window companies and how they may have been cheaper. But I can say I was very pleased with the whole process with window nation. They might not be the cheapest, but they’re worth every penny. I had seven windows a front door and a storm door installation project. They came in Saturday morning at 8am and were done by 3pm. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to be home when the project was being done. My wife was home with my kids when this project was getting done. When I got home, I tell you I could not tell that a project had been done at the house. It was almost like they were never there, and the windows & door magically appeared. I actually do not know how they got that done and the house be that cleaned. when I asked my wife if she had cleaned behind them, she said no all she did was a light dusting. I have never paid for a project this big I usually do the work myself and I tell you I would pay it again if I had to. Thank you, window nation and Jeryl for everything."
