“Windows appear to be good quality, but they didn’t tell me that there is a metal on the door stoops but not the entire stoop so it is difficult for me to get in the house with a cane. Doors look nice, but I was not made aware of them only having one lock which you need to lock from the outside. They also didn’t get the order right. And I had to pay extra to get the window frosted and wait for almost a month to get the frosted window. You take out a frosted window but don’t order a frosted window to replace it. Then said it was my fault.”

“After the new windows were installed, Power sent someone to complete an ‘inspection’ of the windows. When they arrived they didn’t even open and close the windows to ensure the windows were functioning properly. There didn’t seem to be an inspection of any kind just trying to sell me siding, soffet and fascia. He told me my house doesn’t have any wrap under the siding, which I showed him the Tyvek to prove him wrong and then said my gutters were pulling away from the soffet and I should get the soffet and fascia replaced. The pulling away/gap between the gutters and soffet were there after Power replaced the gutters. When trying to sell me the siding, soffet and fascia he gave me the old ‘if you sign right now I can give you a discount’ line and kept pressuring me to sign. Power pulled this same thing about how I needed new gutters after they installed the new roof. Highly irritated about these ‘inspections’ when they are really trying to pressure you into and lying to you about what work needs to be done in your home.”

“If I were to recommend PHR to someone I would have to warn them not to sign ANYTHING and cut off the meeting after a hour at most. I would also recommend that they get estimates from at least 2 other services. Our “Sales Meeting” lasted 5.5 hours with my wife and I signing a sales agreement that we later cancelled per the terms of the contract. We then had to have a “Cancellation Meeting” where we agreed to purchase 6 windows instead of the original 21. Even though we did end up buying 6 windows, the process left a bad taste and left us wondering whether we were taken advantage of or not.”

“Changed the roof, notified me that the roofer had to remove gutter guards and that it couldn't be reinstalled, that is after they have removed all the old shingles, after the fact situation. At the time of contract signing we asked the Power manager about the gutter guards and he said that they won't be touched. I called the company immediately what the roofer told me. They sent a project manager and he said that the company has nothing to do with the situation. We spent $2600 for the gutter guards, the project manager said that if he had to come back to put them back on, he would, his name is Mike, never heard from him again. I called the company back the next day, spoke to a certain Darren, I explained everything to him, he did not want to listen, " we don't reinstall gutter guards", so I explained everything. " I have a meeting with 3 people I will call you back" he never did.”

They did not install the lights correctly, they left gaps in the siding, the deck isn't flushed with the siding, and someone had to come to fix that. We've given them a lot of business and to be treated this way isn't right.”

“The service was good. Came on the agreed day, and in and out in 2 days. showed up a little late on both days but overall good. Getting to that point was rough to say the least. Got an initial quote. Agreed to it. The guy missed 3 windows in the quote. He noticed 2 of them (which were the first windows you see when you walk in my house) right before he left. Told me they would try to help me out because it was his fault. 2nd guy came to measure and found the 3rd he had missed. Had to readjust the quote again and told me that a couple of the windows that he had me quoted for would not be able to be installed as the first guy had said. Readjusted again. Talked to a manager and they said that there was nothing they could do, as the first guy is just a quote. As i said, service was fine but would tell anyone looking to understand that the first person they send is really only there to get you to say yes and get in the door. Then they send someone who actually knows what they are looking at comes and the price goes up and up.”
