“I'm sure I communicated clearly. I realize there was probably some misunderstanding on the project. I asked them questions and I don't believe I should be in this position. I started off with the windows. That was going good. One of the managers came and we talked about my siding. I specifically told him that I would like it to be added to the previous project so I could get a total of what I would pay for my entire project. I am sure that I made it clear about the before and after total. He told me everything and it would be $23,000.00. We had to purchase more materials for the siding. I always make sure people understand what I am saying. I'm sure I communicated what I expected and what I wanted. I should've read through every single line, but I was looking for what I was going to pay. The project was finished and I got the email from the loan company that it was two separate projects. I don't know how that could've been misunderstood. I am stuck with a $35,000.00 bill and that was not in my budget. It was supposed to be $23,000.00. This was my first time dealing with a company. Others might be okay with it. I make sure I know what I'm saying to people. It was very disappointing to me that it didn't matter what I said. I felt betrayed. I take comfort in the fact that my work was done properly, but it has to be clear with financial obligations. I went back to look at the breakdown and it's not clear what costs what. I would recommend them breakdown the costs for each window. I wanted to recommend them to others. I'm not here to put them down. They were very professional, but I was disappointed in the end. The bill was higher when it was time to pay.”

“The installation team was professional, efficient, and did excellent work, which I greatly appreciated. My hesitation in fully recommending Power Home Remodeling is related to the product selection and sales process. The rear windows that were installed removed an important functional feature I previously had — both sashes opening for safe cleaning from inside the home. This change was not clearly explained during the sales process and was presented as an upgrade. While the workmanship was excellent, losing a key functionality that affects safety and ongoing maintenance was disappointing and impacts my overall recommendation.”

“Fast, professional service. Everything cleaned up. However, the lock did not work. Should have been checked before they left. Door lock not as sturdy as expected. Door has a dead bolt but no regular lock. Did not receive touch up paint. Not able to schedule the service for later in the year. Price was too high.”
“Where was the PM for the install? He showed up and went on leave the day after. The coordination led me to believe that there was no communication between the representatives on the phone that verifed the install and the workers performing the installation.”

“My husband is in a wheelchair, and they were really nice when they came. They normally take all the windows out at once. It was cold, so they let him stay in the bedroom while they did the others. They put windows in, not completely, so it wouldn't be as cold when he came out of the bedroom. That was very nice that they did that. They didn't have to do that, they thought of that on their own. I was very happy that they were so considerate of him being in a wheelchair.”

“They were very prompt, and they gave me a call prior to their arrival. They cleaned up after they completed all the work that was done. Also, they gave me a chance to look at it, and if there were any issues, they said they would fix it. I didn't have any issues, and they did it very well.”

The weather has been rough, so I can’t fully see everything yet, but the crew stayed late to finish my siding project before the storm, and I really appreciate that. They worked until about 8 p.m. to get it done, and I also received calls throughout the day updating me about delays. If you’re going to have work like this done, Power Home seems to be a quality place to go.”
