"I'm giving you two stars on my slider install. I was told when I ordered my door, it would include a door stopper. After the installation it wasn't on the door. I call customer service and the lady was rude. You should stand behind your product and work on customer service. I spent thousands of dollars with your company and was happy with the work. Until this final project and your lack of service. I will not recommend your company. I live in a subdivision that I know my neighbors, they are all doing updates due to the age of our homes. I will not be recommending your company. Unhappy customer!"

On multiple occasions the customer service line said someone, normally a manager (and specifically Andrew), would return our call to discuss issues and no one called. The crew did not show up on at least 2 different occasions and additionally, 1 schedule block was deleted by the Chicago office instead of calling to clarify after the installation manager set up an appointment for the remaining issues to be addressed."

"Power Home Remodeling disappointed me due to a lack of proper communication and follow-through. We experienced a major issue with the original window installation: the wrong color trim was installed. We ordered almond windows with brown trim, but almond trim was installed instead. Because of a family emergency, I was unable to be present during installation. My husband was focused on ensuring the installation itself was done correctly and did not notice the color discrepancy. Once the job was complete, he sent me photos and I immediately noticed the issue. He contacted customer service, and a correction was scheduled for five days later. We explained that we would be out of town and requested the issue be addressed sooner. After several conversations, we were told the crew would come out on a Saturday, framed as them “volunteering.” We found this response condescending and unnecessary—this was a correction of Power’s mistake, not a favor. Additionally, we reached out to the salesperson, Scott Jeter, three separate times and never received a return call. One of his main sales pitches was that Power would be with us throughout the entire process. That clearly did not extend to addressing problems. Even if the issue was outside his direct responsibility, a simple return call to acknowledge the concern and ensure it was being handled would have gone a long way. Failing to do so was disrespectful and left us feeling undervalued as customers. My expectation was not perfection, but accountability, communication, and basic customer respect. At the very least, we expected to be treated as a valued customer when issues arose."

On the day of repair and installation additional damage was discovered and the project and cost jumped up. We were anxious as the crew raced to complete the project in the same timeframe - continuing even after dark. Jeff came to check in with us. He seemed unaware of what had led to the problem. When we mentioned mold found during the initial inspection he made a big deal of how PHG were not mold experts and said he called the manager of Raquel (who had initiated contact with us and showed us the mold),to complain. He then tried to upsell us to get PHG insulation. Insinuating that if we had it installed during our last project we might not have had this problem with our roof now. We went from anxious homeowners dealing with thousands of dollars in unanticipated expenses that had gone up even more that day and wanted only to be reassured that this work was worth it and would not suffer due to the tight time frame to feeling we had been scammed by this company."

"Slider requires replacement since it does not close properly. Shipping damage is evident. The installers knew they were installing a faulty door. Strange comments were made which did not make sense until they left and I tried open and closing the door. Wait will be 9+ weeks for door replacement. I picked up at least 30 to 40 nails from walk way, drive way, and street in front of my house. (I'm not exaggerating) I have aluminum siding on house and when doing trim replacement, the installer was using ladder backwards without the guards leaving scratch (gouge) marks. It was too late by the time I observed this negligence. Crew that did trim were understaffed on a very hot day - not instilling confidence as a customer. No drop cloths were used on deck by trim contractor or the window contractor. I scrubbed caulk smears off deck boards that are less than 3 years old. During the window replacement, a Quality Assurance Manager visited and it was quickly evident his true purpose was to hard sell me on roof and siding. If I knew this, I would never have let him in my attic. He pulled or punched a hole in gable WRB lining for picture to show me inferior insulation. I was up there previously and there was no hole. The roof estimate quote started at 41k and when I said no twice it came down to 27-29K. All credibility was lost - and carrying a business card as Quality Assurance Mgr is misleading to the customer. How would you feel?"

"Doors: One of our doors was dented right off the truck. The quality assurance agent said he would get a new slab ordered right away. I called after a couple weeks to get an update on the status of the replacement. The replacement slab was never ordered. So, they put in the order the day I called. The deadbolts were not installed properly, there was a gap left un-caulked at the bottom of the door, and the doorbells were not put back, so we had to have the crew back out to rectify. The crew also took the instructions for the locks, which included key codes. This is a security risk. Our other door is not installed properly. The seal is ineffective as there are gaps between the door and the frame. Light can be observed shining through. Also, it does not close flush. The earliest I was told someone could come out to fix it was months away (essentially, the same time our replacement door is scheduled to arrive). Gutters, soffit, facia: Overall satisfactory, though not transparent enough about the drip cap. Also, a section of shingles were lifted and we were told they would settle back into place, however they have not and it has been almost three months. A pallet of materials was left in our driveway and was picked up over a week later."

When you put something on the paper, you have to swear under oath that it was done, but don't lie and say you put the wood here when no wood was put in the window. They just put in the “protecting water,” and I didn't appreciate those kinds of workers in my house."

I didn't like the aggressive resale guy that came in after. He told me he was quality assurance, but he was basically a salesman. He came into my house, walked around the outside, and in the attic, he tried to sell me gutters when I hired them to do windows. I didn't care for that and told him to save his breath. I don't want to hear about gutters when all I wanted were windows. I do home improvement about once a year, and he kept pestering me. The first salesman was fine, 100% great, and we only talked about windows. He gave me numbers and showed me everything I'd be getting. Thank you for that. The second guy said he was doing a follow-up and he was really aggravating. I let him know that he is frustrating me. I guess he was on a commission to get more money out of the project. I know he was just trying to do his job and I didn't want to badmouth him. I was disappointed with the job because they didn't run a razor or score where the old windows came out. It ripped a little bit of my paint off and now I have exposed wood and I have to find the exact matching rating color. The windows are great quality, though, and there's a sound barrier and insulation. The windows are wonderful. The workers were very good, nice guys, and very accommodating, but like I said, he introduced himself as quality assurance, but he was basically a hard salesman."

When calling Power to ask for an explanation, an office associate stated “well they should be there between now and 11.” That is not what we discussed nor what was promised to us. When explained that I had stayed home from work he replied “well just go into work.” He was not kind when speaking and was audibly annoyed with the phone call. That was the first issue. Then during the day, I received a call from Dennis with Power to ask me what “our plan was” since there was “confusion” amongst the two men doing the work. I asked how could there be confusion, we scheduled to have our TRIM and GUTTERS to be replaced. He explained the “team” at my house did not have a clear idea of what they were supposed to be doing there. I immediately asked them if they spoke with Matthew, the primary listed on this account. He stated he would call him and explain, which he never did. That was an immediate red flag. The communication could not have been more twisted between us and this entire organization. That was the second issue. Later that night when the two sales consultants came by to review the work that had been done (and tried to upsell more service of course) and I had mentioned this phone call, especially how strange it was that I would receive one with that questioning, they could not find any notes or anything documented about it in your system. Which is extremely alarming, since he addressed me by my NAME and mentioned our home address and location. I expressed how unsettling and annoying this was to receive and they could only tell me they had no idea who would have called me to ask this. Three gigantic red flags all in one day, I would not recommend this service nor company to anyone."

"I had some work done on my house. At first everything seemed good. The representatives were able to address all my questions. Unfortunately while they were working on the house on of the workers stood on the rail of my deck instead of using on of the multiple ladders around him. When they came to check the work I addressed the issue with the rep. I explained that the rail was loose due to them using it as a ladder. The rep offered to do what I call a quick fix. He was going to caulk the rail and put screws into my house (siding) to secure it. I told him that i did not want them drilling into my house! I had to push for the damage to be handled appropriately. They called constantly attempting to get me to sign the paperwork, to which I refused until the issue was addressed properly, almost 2 months later. I also was livid because after they had their crew come back to touch up some of the work, there was not a clear list of things that they needed to address. I had to explain it to them and that was a challenge because there was a language barrier. I had to call the office to get that straightened out. Then they sent a rep to check that work, at least that is what the rep said. He came in and again the porch damage came up. I told this man that I didn't want anyone touching the porch and that a different rep was handling the issue. This guy asked to take pictures of my porch then proceeded to walk back through my house without saying a word. I decided to go see what he was doing. He went to his truck and grabbed a caulk gun. I asked him what he was doing.and he responded that he was going to caulk the deck. I became irate and asked him to leave. I told him from the start i DID NOT WANT HIM TO TOUCH THE PORCH! I called the rep who had been my contact through most of the project and he told me that man wasn't even supposed to be at my house. Overall this was not a good experience. The lack of communication and what felt like shady dealings was terrible. One rep would tell me one thing then I would talk to someone else and they would have something different to say. They found a quicker way to compensate my damage but only because they wanted my job in the books for end of year tax prep."

"Having had an excellent experience with Power 4 years ago, I engaged them again for a larger project--replacement of 15 windows and my front door. From the start, the initial assessment with Spencer was seamless and thorough. He has incredible knowledge of the product line and the options for each of my windows. He noted the styling choices and was able to match the windows which were being replaced--there was no need to compromise on anything. I was thrilled to hear about the partnership of Power with Pella. The addition on my house had several Pella windows which held up extremely well from the original construction project of 30 years ago. To be able to replace them with quality Pella windows again was a bonus. This was the first time I was having a door replaced. I loved the simulation which Spencer was able to provide to determine which style of door would compliment the house. We reviewed color options as well as glass window options. The simulation allowed me to make a bold change, shifting from a white to black door. I appreciated the time which Spencer invested in reviewing my options for various configurations of the work as this was a major effort. As my previous project involved a long wait time for materials. I had expected that I would be planning an installation in the early spring. When I heard that the partnership with Pella allowed Power to have all the windows and doors within a few weeks vs. months, I was excited to get the entire effort scheduled to be completed in one round as soon as possible. From the initial assessment to the installation -- 4 weeks! Spencer introduced me to the app where everything for the project would be available -- "Project Pulse". This new app had all the pictures of the windows and door which would be replaced so that I could verify those details. It also contained the door simulations, documentation, and installation schedule. There were many pieces to keep track of and the information in the app made me feel very comfortable about the project details. I also noticed that my project from 4 years ago had been synched up as well! Jordan arrived a few days later to do a deep dive into the initial assessment provided by Spencer. Jordan analyzed each window and verified the specifications for 2 door replacements--front door and garage side door. Jordan reviewed the specifics of the garage structure and identified the reasons that there was not a good fit for the replacement options with Power. Jordan explained the reasons and showed me the obstacle structure inconsistent with traditional garage structures. I was very impressed by the honesty and integrity of the Power organization to be forthright with a finding of this nature. Jordan further reviewed the details for the front door and clarified the choices for the glass interior framing. Once again using the simulation software, he was able to explain the scenario and demonstrate the options which were most fitting for the door. I was very pleased with the adjustment as it actually enhanced the overall look of the door. Jordan was thorough with his review and spent ample time ensuring that my order was perfect before his departure. The day before the Power project start, I had another organization, Marshmallow Streaming, onsite to install a Ring system. Part of that system was a front door bell, just outside the physical door structure being replaced the next day. The electrician from Marshmallow detected that the old wiring to the original doorbell had lost the strength to support the new doorbell and a new wire would need to be run. In order to minimize cutting into my walls to run a new wire, he noted that the extraction of the door would provide the path for the new wire to be run seamlessly to this external area. With this idea, I called the 'Project Hotline' (as I called it!), the direct number which was provided to me for questions specific to my project. The electrician spoke with Joe at Power regarding the situation. An arrangement was made to coordinate the two efforts--once the door was extracted by the Power installation team, there was time allotted for the electrician to run the new wire. As a consumer sitting between two vendors, I was absolutely blown away by the professionalism offered me in this difficult situation. Joe provided a timeframe for the electrician to return the next day and partner with the installation team. The installation team was incredible. I am still in awe of the professionalism as well as craftsmanship applied by Chris and his partner. The 2-person team completed the entire project in one long day. Despite the cold December day, they worked quickly to swap out the windows and seal them. I looked very closely at each window and noted the very smooth application of the sealant---beautifully applied. Importantly, there was NO impact to any of the newly painted interior frames where some of the windows were being replaced. I had anticipated some touchups might be needed inside, however--everything was left in pristine order. The front door replacement portion of the project was a work of art. A very deep, old door structure, the original for the house, was being replaced for the first time. The attention to detail on refitting the space with the more efficient Pella door was done very methodically. I watched the process as it was done in multiple phases. There was a heavy plastic sheet over the entrance to my door to limit the cold exposure in my home. The outside casing was completed last. Due to the deep door pocket, the installation team created an elegant black frame to account for the gap on the exterior. It is impressive how much this extra touch of workmanship allows the door to look even more elegant. For the inside of the house, new trim was installed. The installation team did all the cutting out in their truck so I didn't hear the prep work, but saw the end result as the interior frame was completed. Beautiful edges match up to create an impressive interior look. I am so very pleased with everything--from the assessment to the installation. Based on my experience, the Power organization takes everything they do seriously. The professionalism demonstrated to me in each phase of this project has been exemplary. Thank you again for the great experience!"

"I am a return customer because I was happy with the way my first project was handled. The second time around was as great. All was going okay until one of the company's rep came to measure my windows and scheduled an installation date. He walked me thorough installing their app, which I can use to monitor the progress of the project. We scheduled the day (a Wednesday) but it was off by one day (Thursday) on the app. The gentleman, Jeff, I believe informed me to ignore the date on the app. He went further to state that the date used to be off by 7 days, but they had an update and it's not off by a day. We laughed about how they're getting there. The day of the installation came and nobody showed up. Now, I received a call from them a day earlier, which went to voicemail and because I had been told they would call to remind me of the installation a day before, I assumed that what they called for and didn't bother check the voicemail. When no one showed up on installation day, I called and spoke to another gentleman (I don't remember his name) but his customer service skills were below par. He started off telling me I was scheduled for the next day as shown on the app. I told him that Jeff has informed me to ignore that, and a half decent representative would apologize for the misinformation and restate that the appointment was for the next day. Not this guy. He kept trying to convince me it was my fault for having the days wrong and that I should have called to confirm the day. Why would I call to confirm a date that was already confirmed. He brought up the voicemail they left me the day before, which I had checked at this point - the voicemail was letting me know they would charge the credit card I had on file after the project completion and it did mention it was on Thursday, but I didn't check - I was already told they would call a day before and since they called on Tuesday, I thought all was well. In any case, I reluctantly agreed to stay home on Thursday again. Mind up, I had to be taking down and putting back up my blinds. Thursday came and nobody showed up and I got a call around 8:30AM from a Natalie (the lady that left the voicemail for me). She called to tell me they had to reschedule because of bad weather. There was no inclement weather by me, though there was light snow in the forecast. I told her that this is unacceptable that they had stood me up once. She denied they ever stood me up and that she had called me to confirm the date and it's on me for not picking up, and she too mentioned it was on the app. I restated my point about being told to ignore the date on the app and she said it not true that they couldn't have said that. AT some point I even told her that my exasperation was not directed at her personally, that the whole thing was frustrating - I couldn't even finish that sentence when she interrupted that she didn't care if I was exasperated; she just called to reschedule. I told her I was no longer interested to which she responded that they will drop the windows on my property and I still had to pay because I signed a contract. She topped the first bad customer service rep in lack of professionalism. At that point, I simply hung up. Later in the day, I got a call from Alyssa, Director of Project Services and she couldn't be more polite. She listened and apologize for the misinformation I was given. She understood that I couldn't be making this up, unlike the two previous dufus I spoke to who made me feel I was just trying to get out of the contract. She tried to reschedule for the next Tuesday but assured me she would see if she could accommodate me for a Saturday (which was my preference). She said she couldn't promise but she'd try, setting a reasonable expectation. A couple of hours later, she called that she was able to get a Saturday installation and she even offered a couple of hundreds dollars off for the troubles. Worst customer service experience I had. I do not understand why the first guy told me to ignore the date on the app, and the two customer service representatives are conveniently top 5 of the worst I've dealt with and they work for the same company. In any case, the two stars deduction is really for those three individuals. I would have given the company a 1 star if not for Alyssa's maturity and skill. The installation was great. Two guys showed up and they couldn't be more professional, careful and respectful in installing the product with adequate due care. I had a plan to upgrade more windows with them, but I'm open to considering another company. If it was one rep, I'll understand - two reps being this unprofessional tells me there may be some training needed or just a bad culture in that organization. In any case, thank you Alyssa, and a special shout to Justin, the very first guy that came to look at my windows before it went downhill. He too was very professional."

"1. Right off the bat this should have been a two-day job, it was scheduled as a two-day job, and they rushed completed it in one. This meant they were working in the dark on cleaning up and missed a lot of nails and debris that could have gotten into our dog’s paws. 2. The wrong siding (lesser value siding) was delivered, John (Owner) caught the situation, we had to call the Customer Service Number (getting to the correct people is not customer friendly) they were already installing several pieces of siding on the back of the house, so Dawn (Owner) told them to stop installing the siding. It was over two hours before the correct siding was delivered. 3. Didn’t remind us to take the screens down so Power had to repair screens. 4. The crew broke the clamp holding the electric service to the house. 5. The crew did not install the outlet box for the AC and dryer vent and the electrical outlets properly. John (Owner) had to install the AC outlet with extensions. 6. The crew did not install the dryer vent property and John (Owner) had to install it correctly after Power tried three times to install it. 7. We were informed on installation day that the shutters wouldn’t be delivered for another two weeks, we don’t consider a job finished until it is all completed so Power’s response that the shutters are a throw away cost to them was not proper customer service and we would have preferred to pay half until the shutters were installed. 8. The incorrect size shutters were ordered and delivered, the gentleman that was here to install them realized before they were even taken out of the box that they were the incorrect size and called to make sure the correct size was ordered. We appreciate he noticed this right away and worked to correct it immediately. The original order was correct with 43” shutters, 48” was what was delivered, looks like someone didn’t have their bifocals on. This caused another two plus week delay to the job really being completed. 9. Sales Rep Ryan was very pushy, we told him three times that we could not afford to add new soffits to the project because we’re already at our budget. He kept pushing. He was supposed to be checking on the crew and didn’t really seem to be checking the work or he would have caught some of these things and was already surveying us on the whole job when it wasn’t finished, we told him we gave him a rating based on what we knew at that point; however, the job wasn’t finished. We want to REVOKE THE FIVE STARS we have given on the overall project and completion because of all the problems we have had. 10. Also, Dawn (Owner) there was no way to separate approval of the completion of the job from the other approval; however, the system would not separate the two and she called that in and Power apologized that it should not have happened that way, BUT it did so approval was not really given on the completion of the project. We were told by the supervisor that came out that he couldn’t leave our home until the other approval was given. 11. Think tolerances around the corners to allow for expansion are tight, hopefully there will be no warping. This has been pointed out to Power representatives numerous times throughout the installation process. Do need to say that Power did come back and try to fix everything, they fixed the screens and came back to install the correct size shutters; however, the job was rushed."

"Email 09/09/24 to POWER Representative Attention; Tim Coules Greetings Tim Coules, We (Stephen and Karen Jackson) have information about our new roof installation that may be of interest to you and your management. First, we are grateful for the one day each installation for the full reconstruction of the roof (6829 Roberts Drive, Woodridge, IL 60517) and the new larger gutters. We have viewed the roof from outside the house on all sides and it looks great. The gutters also look great and appear to be well installed to the roof and siding. Because we have “rain barrels”, we will have expenses and work to do next spring, 2025. This is understood and not an issue for Power. However, there are things that we need to verify before we sign the completion of the Power roof installation. 1. We need to know that the on-roof air vents are installed as specified in our original discussion with you on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. Of course we cannot see them, so a written signed statement from Power to that effect will suffice. 2. We also need to verify that the attic ducts from the Bathroom fans are reconnected properly to the vent near the peak on the North side of the house. We cannot see them and at our age we cannot climb a ladder to see them from our attic entry panels. A smart phone like yours would be able to show us an image that shows the new roof plywood and the air ducts connected to the vent on the side of the house. 3. Again, based on our original discussion, we see the necessity of removing the insulation from the eaves in the attic on both front and back of the house. A Power representative, “Joe” told Karen that “it would be taken care of” on her discussion with him on September 4, 2024. A smart phone image would show us that this is complete. Now, I will point out a few things that you need to be aware of for “our satisfaction”. We do this without blaming anyone nor any expectation of correction at all. We realize the very long day of work (12 hours) required by the roof installation crew may not have allowed for proper clean up of our garage entry area or the replacement of the patio table and umbrella. However, this leaves us with work to do. The saw dust, wood chips, and metal pieces also included small nails. We were fortunate not to have a nail in our car tires. As soon as we can verify the completion of these items, we will be happy to sign the completion request and recommend Power to our friends, neighbors, and organizations we belong to. It's comforting to know they'll take care of any window issues at any point in the future. I obviously would recommend that anybody looking for new windows should at least get a quote from them. My only issue is there is additional pressure to sign on the dotted line the day of the estimate in order to get a lower price. They don't take money down, though, and there's no additional future marketing costs to them, so I understand why they give a better price at the free quote. I can't say enough regarding how wonderful every single person from the company was throughout the entire process! The windows look great, too!"

"The sales pitch through most of the install day went smoothly. The crew was polite, clean work, and seemingly doing a great a job. However, they did not complete the project/finish work. No interior finish work was done, nail holes were exposed, no caulking, and left sticky manufacturing residue on the windows. After speaking with multiple reps they sent someone out to complete the finish work, this person's work was sloppy and I have seen better work and more attention to detail from amateur/DIY work. Overall, unacceptable. I have had to spend a lot of my time thoroughly cleaning the windows and correcting the poor caulking. We expected a complete job, and we did not get that. We are deeply disappointed with the outcome."

The two-man crew did not speak much English, so it was hard to communicate with them, and in the beginning, I asked him to please drape the doorways and cover the furniture, and he said “no dust”, and they did not do that! Windows were left smeared and dirty, nails and other debris left in our garden, a hole was put in chimney siding with the ladder, caulk was sloppy in places and one window would not open properly. I had a supervisor come out and investigate. He tried to adjust the window, but it ended up making noise, although it opened. They are supposed to come Monday and redo that window. No remedies were offered other than repairing the one window, cleaning the windows, and picking up the debris, I told him I spent eight hours cleaning the dirt and dust off of my kitchen counters and floors, and the rest of the house. At the time of sale, the salesman assured me that the screens sealed really well, and there would be no bugs coming in. The day after installation, there were several bugs inside the screens, and they move out of place easily. Be advised, they will smash your garden plants, and they put in the paperwork that they’re not responsible for that. I had two large, beautiful hydrangeas, and they were completely smashed up by the man with the ladder. they look like they’re dying now. I am very unhappy with the product, quality of work and mess that was left. Four windows, $11,000, Not worth it!!!"

Every step of the way I had to check and double check and correct the many mistakes that PHR made. I was promised white glove service, but did not get that at all. I had to correct the compliance coordinator as he sent the wrong info to my HOA. I had to call to find out why the appointment I made for the pre install inspection got changed only to be told my original scheduled time was available. I called to make sure the installers would have caulk to match my siding, and was told they would use white. I told PHR the caulk had to match and to get back to me with a plan. I called back 2 days later and was told the caulk was ordered and the installers would pick it up on the way to my home on install day. The installers, who were a 3rd party, showed up and had no idea about any caulk. My work order stated that a window apron would be replaced, but it was not. I will never recommend PHR to anyone ever. PHR took a lot of my money and I thought I would have an easy experience, but instead, it was a joke."

"We knew we needed a new roof. The first contact visited our home in an afternoon. He was very thorough with his explanations and measurements, walked us through everything he was saying, explained what he meant by the terms he was using and spoke highly of the company he represented (I checked the company out and everything came in as presented. I generally don't trust housiing contractors based on some experiences I've had). There was little pressure to sign "right now", but we did see an advantage to going forward with Power. We accepted their best offer based on the company's reputation, a Right of Rescission, NO upfront deposits, the use of quality materials, customer praise and the fact that the roofers are employed by the company, not subcontractors.....this is important. The list of items that needed attention was long, but everything checked out with our own knowledge of what was needed. (Note: we are never afraid of exercising our Right of Rescission if something makes us uncomfortable in the days after signing. It's a legal right and it works). Materials were delivered one day, as promised. The next day the old roof, gutters, downspouts, soffit and fascia were removed (It was a big job!), and by the end of the day we had a new roof. The workers were on time, neat in their work and, except for a lunch break, worked non-stop. They asked for nothing from me and tolerated my picture taking. The second day, all gutters, soffit and fascia were in place and looking good. The crew did not speak English, but communication was not necessary except at the end of the day when the foreman showed up. As with the previous crew, they were prompt and got the job done before they left. They did a beautiful job. Cleanup was better than acceptable. Two minor items: (1) There were some excess (usable, not scrap) materials left behind and I am waiting for someone to come and pick them up. They're neatly packaged, but I don't want them sitting in my driveway and (2) I wish the crews were a bit more careful with my plants. The subject of landscaping was addressed in the initial contract and we were made aware that there may be some plant damage. Nothing was serious, but I have to complain about something! These two items were minor. Would we do business with Power again? Absolutely. Everything we discussed panned out and was supported. The project was done professionally and they didn't skip town. They still talk with me when I have a question. A new roof is an expensive item and the process was better than satisfactory."

Both the roofing crew and gutter crew were very pleasant, professional and clean up was excellent. Power home remodeling shares a project pulse app which is easy to use. The app keeps you updated on the progress from the time you sign up to the time the project was completed. Some of the nice features are the arrival time of the crew. It even updates if the crew is running late do to traffic or other related reasons and at the end of the project you receive a message to check the completed work and cleanup before sign the completion certificate and pay or billed for the completed work. My sibling had their gutters done bc by a different company . They had no idea when the crew was showing up or the job inspector. My sibling had to call the job inspector to ask when they were coming to check the work. Don’t worry about some of the bad reviews on windows and siding . They are in transition on using another supplier. There previous supplier could not keep up with thNoe work production necessarily need. I have asked both sales team, consultant and quality assurance manager. Everyone gave me the exact answer without me giving any information on previous conversations with an other Power Home Employee. I would 100% recommend Power Home Remodeling!"

The soffit was also in need of repair/replacement, so we had work done which was definitely needed. But, while I hesitate to call it "pressure tactics", we were caught off guard with the "if you agree right now to do this work we'll give you a better interest rate and save you money on interest, even though the estimate is good fora year, but at the higher rates". We scaled back the amount of work just to make sure we could put it in the existing budget. There are other specifics which I have detailed in comments below."

"We were duped and swindled. The salesman said that the fascia and soffit wood was soft and the rafter tails were in danger of rotting. He actually said that the quote included $900 for new wood. Not one square inch of wood was replaced although there were some wet soft spots observed. These spots were just covered with the vinyl. I told the salesman that I would keep the old aluminum. He agreed as did the pre-work person. The installers did not agree and took the aluminum. And there are 3 upper level downspouts that were to be connected to the lower level gutters. This was not done."

"The work was ok and they were very quick. The issue I had was with the cleanup after. I understand that with big construction projects there maybe some debris left here or there, but what we had to clean up after was unacceptable for the amount of money we spent. Trash was just thrown into the attic assuming we wouldnt see. We had to ask to have them come back in and clean up. The next day after a different crew finished their work we found about 30 screws scattered in the driveway not including the random nails here and there. We found large pieces of metal brackets, wires, and other large debris in the yard that was instantly noticeable so there wasn't even an attempt to clean up. We spent hours after all crews left cleaning up after them even after we asked them to clean up what we saw. Very clearly an attitude of the job is done and thats it. Very disappointed that we spent so much money and had to go back over and clean up after them and do their job."

"I will not be recommending Power Home Remodeling to anyone. In fact I will recommend them as a company to stay away from. I had an awful experience. The crew had to come back multiple times to fix siding that they didn't install correctly the first time. Additionally, I was the one that had to catch their errors. The team cut corners and tried giving me a product that was not complete. I had to fight for every correction. The only employee that made things better was Joe Kenna. Without him (and me being a project manager), the company would probably have had to come back to fix product failures in the near future. The sales rep was misleading on a multitude of things. I was told one thing at the beginning of the project but then came to find it to not be true once the install team showed up and started working."

The salesman lied about the work he promise us about and wrote the contract very poorly so the company wouldn’t do this work. This company lie about the work and will not do it. DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY VERY TRICKY AND SHADY."

"I would tell anyone I knew who was considering a job by Power to run the other way. If they had spent as much time properly preparing for work on my roof as they spent trying to make me a happy customer afterward, it would have been a better experience for all. It was a rush from the start. Salesman came on one of the hottest days of the year-he nearly fainted from the heat, or else he was the best actor in the world. He wanted to send out the person who double checked measurements the same day until I pointed out the temp. It seemed like he was under a lot of pressure to produce a sale and grudgingly set a date for two days later on Friday. The materials were delivered early the next week. Workers came that Friday. I asked the first worker who rang the doorbell where the permit was. In broken English, he tried to tell me that it was in another truck. Next truck came, and still no permit. Eventually I called city hall to check, found out it had actually been issued, and learned the actual permit number. A trailer was parked on my driveway within a few inches from my garage door. It dripped on my driveway for one and a half days I eventually learned that the man in charge was not actually the foreman. The real foreman was on vacation. We had trouble all day communicating because his English was just as fractured as that of the first fellow I tried to communicate with. The crew was not as neat as I expected. There was garbage from their breaks left behind-empty water bottles, cups, wrappers from food. Also pieces of roofing material, and numerous screws, nails, staples, metal. There were some issues with finish that needed to be corrected. I must have seen or talked with at least five people afterward because of course I was not happy and had been told that I would not have to pay till the work was done to my satisfaction. Eventually the vacationing foreman returned. His English was perfect. He fixed the final issues quickly. He understood my points. I felt he took pride in his work and my job would have been finished the first time if only the crew had not been sent out to work on their own without proper support and supervision. I was happy to see the finished roof."
