“The communication has been absolutely awful. On multiple occasions the customer service line said someone, normally a manager (and specifically Andrew), would return our call to discuss issues and no one called. The crew did not show up on at least 2 different occasions and additionally, 1 schedule block was deleted by the Chicago office instead of calling to clarify after the installation manager set up an appointment for the remaining issues to be addressed.”

“I had damage to the trim around my bathroom window during installation and my gate was left open after gutter replacement. Communication was as poor for gutter installation. I was told the crew would be out between 7:30-8:30 am and they didn’t show up until close to 1pm. I wouldn’t have cared if the time change was communicated to me the night before when they realized they needed to finish a previous job.”

“Power Home Remodeling disappointed me due to a lack of proper communication and follow-through. We experienced a major issue with the original window installation: the wrong color trim was installed. We ordered almond windows with brown trim, but almond trim was installed instead. Because of a family emergency, I was unable to be present during installation. My husband was focused on ensuring the installation itself was done correctly and did not notice the color discrepancy. Once the job was complete, he sent me photos and I immediately noticed the issue. He contacted customer service, and a correction was scheduled for five days later. We explained that we would be out of town and requested the issue be addressed sooner. After several conversations, we were told the crew would come out on a Saturday, framed as them “volunteering.” We found this response condescending and unnecessary—this was a correction of Power’s mistake, not a favor. Additionally, we reached out to the salesperson, Scott Jeter, three separate times and never received a return call. One of his main sales pitches was that Power would be with us throughout the entire process. That clearly did not extend to addressing problems. Even if the issue was outside his direct responsibility, a simple return call to acknowledge the concern and ensure it was being handled would have gone a long way. Failing to do so was disrespectful and left us feeling undervalued as customers. My expectation was not perfection, but accountability, communication, and basic customer respect. At the very least, we expected to be treated as a valued customer when issues arose.”

“Power Home Remodeling was very accommodating. We signed our contract on November 17th, and the weather was crappy. We finally got it done before the 23rd of December. Every time the weather was bad, Power did a good job with rescheduling and making the effort. Inclement weather prevented timely installation, but Power reacted with the most flexibility that I have ever seen.”
